The hotel was in a very good location , we had a room overlooking the harbour which was picture perfect. In the corridor was a small kitchen unit which you could use, it had a kettle, fridge and coffee machine (filter coffee). If you like a good dinner with a fabulous garden and view over the bay just walk out of the hotel across the road to Villa Rosehagen, not cheap but well worth it. You are about a 10 minute drive away from Preikestolen.

The room was very small with a tiny bathroom but it did have an excellent shower. Breakfast was chaotic as everybody was there at the same time and they ran out of just about everything.

Great location, right next to Preikestolen (which allows you to go on the trail in the early morning or late afternoon, before the crowds), in a charming town, very nice service, warm and comfortably furnished rooms, access to a large, well-equipped kitchenette. Another advantage is the private parking right next to the hotel. Breakfasts are quite varied - everyone will definitely find something for themselves.

Very nice hotel. Perfect location with beautiful view on the harbor. Clean room with percent beds, and extremely friendly and helpful staff. No question was too difficult and they helped with planning as much as possible. Ideal location if you want to hike to Preikestollen. Breakfast was very extensive and also dinner was good, even if the choice of different menus was a bit small.

We arrived on a Monday and found most restaurants shut in the area. The hotel only had pizza to offer as an evening meal. Managed to eventually find a burger bar around the corner.

The staff are very friendly and helpful! The room is clean. The breakfast is also pretty good. I had car battery issue during my stay and Mr. Lao helped me to find the mechnics and saved me time and money.

The room size is a little small but it had good value.

Clean property, rooms were small but typical for Europe, good location with restaurants and shops nearby. Breakfast was mostly continental but with some heated options as well. On the floor was a common area with a small fridge and sink that was handy for keeping lunch foods and other perishables. I would stay here again.

I missed my flight, so I arrived very late at the hotel, after midnight! The owners of the house were very kind and kept in touch with me through messages and emails.. They left me the key to the room so that I could enter independently... The service was excellent and kind! The room is really small, but with a shower and toilet inside. The breakfast was good. There is parking for cars and a beautiful view! Also, the hotel is really close to pulpit rock, recommended..

Great location, lovely atmosphere in the hotel. Good breakfast. We were informed about the size of the rooms so that was ok for one night.

It was really warm in the room and we couldnt open the windows because of metal stairs outside.

A cozy and cute family-owned and operated hotel in Jørpeland, very close to the Jørpelands river waterfall and walking distance to the Jørpelandsholmen and the Solspeilet. Staff is super helpful and accommodating - we even received a free room upgrade for me and my wife on our honeymoon trip :) The view from the family room was awesome (see pic attached). It was a picturesque hotel with a wholesome atmosphere, accessible to people on wheelchairs. Also the parking place is highly appreciated :)
