The location is perfect. We got a taxi from the airport but there’s no need. Buses and trains terminate about 200m from the hotel. It’s close to just about everything and all the tourist buses to all the major attractions stop at the hotel to pick up and drop off. The room was clean with great views and the bed was extremely comfy.

The website shows a photo of a pool but there isn’t one. There is a small gym and a sauna with floor to ceiling windows giving great views over the town as far as the mountains in the distance. Also, the bar and restaurant are eye wateringly expensive. £14.00 for a bottle of Bulmers cider as an example.

A very centric and clean spot. All the staff is kind and helpful. The restaurant for dinner is very tasty. Even though I just stayed one night , I definitely recommend , I tried the lovely sauna with lake view and the gym. The night view is great. About 30 mins to the preikestolen park, reason why we stayed here. You can also walk to the downtown and get a coffee or try any ot the various restaurants.a few staff speak Spanish also. The buffet restaurant is nice, but what I like the must was the smoked salmon.

Nothing to complain, just to not have enough time to try all pretty restaurants at the downtown. Small city with good things to see.

The location of the hotel was excellent with easy access to everything in the city centre and harbour areas. Our room was 'compact' and a bit on the small side but was very comfortable. It had a nice view of the lake. The hotel had the best breakfast selection of all of the hotels we stayed in, in Norway, including Radisson Hotels in Bergen and Oslo. It was useful having a restaurant on site where we could get an evening meal. The food was very good.

Poor communication from some hotel staff, particulalrly on arrival. Simple things like how to operate the lift and the need to book a table in the on site restaurant. Hotel could provide a greater selection of Teas/coffees and milk powder choices in the room.

My sister and I like the location. Easy to get to places that we wanted to visit. We were given a nice room with double bed, although I requested from my booking to have twin beds. The room was clean and beautiful. The mattress was firm, which I like. The bathroom was clean. We were given a bathtub with a power shower and a mini screen. Not too my liking because I find it to be old fashioned. Most hotels nowadays have showers installed. We then proceed to ask for a room change and the hotel gave us a room with my original request of twin beds and a shower bathroom. The hotel receptionist was super efficient and attentive. Well done.

What we didn't like was the bathtub/showers that was assigned to us. The reason being is that the small screen was not fixed and when you showered, water spilled over to the outside tiles. It is not efficient at all. Room 661 was perfect except for the bathroom. I would suggest a refurbishment and install a shower room in the future.

Excellent location a short stroll from centre of Stavanger. Room was large and comfortable with pleasant view over the small Lake outside. Buses to airport, ferry port and Preikestolen all stop immediately outside.

All good. Couple of very minor issues … maintenance issue reported wasn’t acted upon. Tables for two by the window were reserved for breakfast which was mildly irritating as it meant at least once we had to wait for a table to be cleaned and set while others sat empty and we were in a rush that morning.

Location is excellent. 2 minutes walk to all major shopping and harbour area. Great view over pond. Bus stop for airport transfers is directly outside hotel on Olav 5 (road).

We were charged for using mini bar for 6 soft drinks that we never had. No guidance in room or from reception that only water was complimentary. We opened jar of jelly sweets (candy) and ate them. We were charged for those, too. Happy to pay for confectionary but we were using mini bar to cool our own bought soft drinks. When I told reception at check out that we had not used the hotel soft drinks, only our own, the man did say not to worry and that the soft drinks (amounting to £30 - £40) would be refunded. Food good in hotel but breakfast buffet food could have and should have been hotter.

There are some security concerns regarding the actual room itself. The doors do not always automatically lock so I always had to ensure it was locked (even after shutting the door and waiting, the door would not lock and it was open - you would have to either deadbolt or hold the card). Perhaps this is intentional, but should have been explained to me at the front desk as this is not common for other hotels. I had booked for a double bed but the bed had two single duvet covers. I had to ask for a double duvet to be delivered. Windows were not tall - view was a bit obstructed as a result.

Absolutely stunning lakeside views and perfectly situated within very easy walking distance of the railway station and the beating heart of Stavanger. The staff were exceptional especially the receptionist on duty when we arrived who ensured that our room was perfect for our romantic getaway by changing the room (which was not which we had originally booked) without any charge and going the extra mile to ensure that our break was the best she could make it! Breakfast was superb and the staff very knowledgeable about allergens. A wonderful variety to suit all dietary requirements set us up for the day and a wonderful breakfast is absolutely essential for exploring the town of Stavanger and surrounding fjords. The Stavanger team exceeded all our expectations of hospitality, comfort and dining experience and are to be highly recommended! They truly care about every little detail to Make your stay perfect - thank you to all for looking after us so well 👏🏽🤩😍

Sauna and location. Good locker. Nice staff.

Fitness is complete, but fully occupied as there are not so many machines. One additional crosstrainer, stepmachine and another complete dumbel set, would be great. After 20:00, the sauna and fitness are a mess, as customers dont clean up. Coffemachine is a waterboiler and instantcoffee. Simpel, but ok. A Nespresso machine would be great

Staff is rude, when I asked can I pay for the hotel on arrival they said no, you pay at the time of check out, so I said I will be in rush in morning, they said everybody is in rush in morning so big deal. Very rude behavior by staff, international travellers have their challenges, our credit card doesnt work sometime, so staff doesnt understand our problem. They also said I will not get breakfast if I paid in advance....so we have to skip the breakfast. .....
