The location and the ease of bringing my dog whines always welcome. The stunning surroundings. Free and easy parking. A safe environment. Very clean. Delicious bread, seeds, cheese, fruit, rice pudding,

That the bedding makes you sweat as it is polyester. The poor quality of sausages. That your staff don’t seem to recognise that my dog and I have been staying with you up to three times a year. No connection even though I recognised one woman in the reception (morning person) and the blond short haired woman in the breakfast area.

Lovely location not far from the motorway, but far enough it’s doesn’t disturb you. The lake is beautiful too, went for a walk around it in the evening. Staff were lovely and welcoming, lots of parking too. I felt safe as a lone traveller and would definitely stay again.

There was a party going on in the evening, I assume in the housing estate opposite though unsure, but loud music could be heard past 1am. Unfortunately it kept me awake. No air conditioning, but I did see guests ask for fans.

The hotel is located close to the ferry as it’s about 20 mins away. It over looks a lake and it’s nice in the morning to take a walk, see the wildlife and enjoy the air. The bed was so comfy however it was slightly warm but we asked for a fan for a room and it just made it better. Lovely staff.

Breakfast was ok, but inconsistent. First morning we had sausages and bacon but the scrambled egg was cold. I did ask for it to be heated and it was. There were many sweet things there for breakfast but my wife brought her own gluten free bread which was good she did. But they fix it.

Very helpful by providing a location for our cycles with electrical plugs. Ate at the restaurant and the meal was very good. Room was spacious and well equipped. It was our choice due it's location relative to the ferry port in Dunkirk. We would have been happy trying their breakfast, but our ferry demanded we leave the hotel very early.

It was a long walk to reception and the Internet was very unpredictable for to the distance our room was fown the corridor.

Good location, ample parking, excellent helpful staff, quiet area.

Hotel a little careworn around the edges and we were somewhat perturbed after reading reviews and seeing army vehicles parked up, that there would be noise issues with the soldiers staying on the top floor of the hotel, BUT, they were a great bunch of respectful, disciplined young people who were a credit to their profession and the hotel. Staff were helpful and tolerant of my poor attempts at French and were extremely helpful regarding changing rooms. In short, the people make the hotel and enable you to overlook the slightly aged look of the place, so thank you to all.

Excellent hotel, clean and tidy. Lovely views over the lake every day. Staff were lovely and friendly all week. One of the cleaning staff very kindly found us a fan for the room as it was very hot for the week. Special mention for Alicia who was absolutely fantastic for us, given my terrible attempts at speaking French she made it very easy for us to order, always smiling and again just made us feel so so welcome. Highly recommend this hotel.

The one tiny inconvenience was the location for access to Dunkerque itself. A taxi back at night cost is €25 on the first night but when we discovered that all buses in and around the town where totally free that certainly helped.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We chose the hotel as we had a dog with us and the hotels had lovely grounds and a lake to walk round , plus it has on site parking. We paid 35 euros e/w to get a taxi to Dunkirk. But later found out that parking is free in Dunkirk and also the bus is free. We would stay here again.

The property from the outside looks quite out of date but inside is lovely and modern.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, nothing was a problem. The room was nice and clean. I loved the terrace with the lake view where we had our breakfast.

The fan in the bathroom was on all night and could not be switched off, the noise was disturbing. The shower had no screen or curtain, so the water was all over the floor no matter how careful one was. (They were not missing, it was a design but could have been designed differently)

The staff went above and beyond to meet our expectations! We felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay so much! Thank you very much for making our stay such a great experience! The walk by the lake was so peaceful and beautiful! Our dog was welcomed, too! The whole atmosphere is relaxed, every member of staff we met was smiling, happy, ready to help. Great value for money. A special mention goes to the restaurant, starting with the chef and tasty dinner, to our beautiful waitress, who was awesome! She even taught us French a little ;).

The selection of milk for coffee could be more plentiful. It was only one milk and one condensated milk satchets on the tray. During breakfast, we've noticed it a few flies around food.

After a European roadtrip this was our last stop and it was the perfect place to end our holiday. Staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, travelling with children they ensured there was something for them to eat from the menu which was a god send. We loved every thing about this hotel, facilities were great, lovely setting but it was definitely the staff for us who work incredibly hard. Shout out to the head waiter and the waitress who worked on the eve of 23rd August you were both fantastic thank you for the incredible service!
