Perched at the end of the main square, it sits right on the clifftops, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean — especially from the breakfast terrace. Honestly, it’s worth staying here for that view alone. The location is unbeatable — central to all the bars, restaurants, and attractions, yet still peaceful and relaxing. Everything in Tropea is within easy walking distance, including the beach. A special mention to Simone, who greeted us on day one and looked after us throughout the stay. His service was impeccable — warm, professional, and genuinely thoughtful. If you’re visiting Tropea, this is the place to stay. Beautiful, convenient, and unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend.

Location was Very good, the hotel provided parking space (paid) and booked us a taxi from the parking lot to the hotel (also paid), the room was comfortable although a little bit dark . The only problem was that when we were leaving we asked the manager to book a taxi for a specific time because we had a tight schedule , and even though he confirmed it he hadn’t booked the taxi , so we had to ask for a taxi and were delayed in half an hour. This delayed our tour and we almost had to pay a delay fee, so we were not so happy about it.

It was much smaller than what we thought, but that was not a problem

Elisabetta was very kind, helpful and professional - offering many tips and recommendations for beaches & restaurants all of which I enjoyed. I recommend booking the suite with the balcony and view - that is really the highlight of this whole town. The room was air conditioned and spacious, and there were blackout curtains - I slept very well! The breakfast was delicious too. Honestly I can't find anything bad to say about this hotel - I did a lot of research and fairly certain it is the most sophisticated and luxurious option in Tropea. (Note that most of the town is pedestrian and the parking is about a 10-15 min walk away - so you will have to drag your luggage through cobblestone streets to get there. Not bad if you're traveling light).

Very lovely hotel in a prime location. We used their contact for transport from the airport, and he was able to drive straight into the historical center to drop us off. The staff at check in were very helpful and quick. The balcony with the stunning view was just breathtaking, can't be beat. Room was nice, modern and clean. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning was amazing and had a lot of selection. We went to the beach club they recommended as it had an area reserved for their guests (30€ for 2 chairs and umbrella). Easy to walk to the center of Tropea and the beach area

My husband and I spent 5 nights at La Dolce Vita a Tropea in mid September to end our two and a half week honeymoon across Italy. From the second we arrived to the moment we left, the entire staff treated us like family. Even before arriving, the team was happy to help organize excursions and arrange to meet us in the main Piazza to assist with our luggage. Everyday they offered advice on what to do and even made dinner reservations for us at restaurants that they recommended to us. This boutique hotel has everything to offer, including the most beautiful views of the coastline of Tropea. We enjoyed our daily breakfast and evening cocktails on the terrace with the most magnificent views, including the perfect sunsets. We would highly recommend this hotel and are already planning to return next year. Special thank you to Giuseppe, Simone and Clare for taking such good care of us! We can’t wait to see you all again next year when we return.

Perfect location. Our accommodation was luxurious with a balcony and views of the sea. The staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were friendly efficient and gave us good recommendations for dinners. This would definitely be our first choice on our return to Tropea. It is a gem

Absolutely beautiful hotel – both the location and the facilities are amazing. It offers the most breathtaking sea view in the whole town. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back and will gladly recommend this hotel to our friends.

Absolutely fantastic property in the best location! The staff, including Anna and Giuseppe, were so helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful, and you really can’t beat the view from the terrace - spectacular. Our room was spacious and modern, and included some really considerate items like a bag for the beach. We absolutely LOVED our stay here and hope to be back!

La Dolce Vita a Tropea is spectacular. Amazing location, amazing views and very accomodating staff. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and assisted in booking dinner reservations (recommendation was provided and was nothing short of perfect). We checked in on my birthday, and I was given a beautiful piece of cake with a lovely card from the team. On departure we were gifted a beautiful keepsake of olive oil. Worth every cent! Grazie mille!!!

Was a shame we were only able to stay for one night, apart from that I have nothing negative to say about our stay.

Beautiful oasis in central tropea at the end of the corso overlooking sea. Room was quiet, peaceful despite being right next to main corso. Hotel terrace for breakfast and aperitivo in evening is unparalleled in all of tropea. Staff were excellent, helpful, kind and very pleasant. Would stay here again for sure.

Not very well organised to get in and out from hotel to/from private parking lot. If you have car be sure to book in advance. Hotel should offer a more suitable transfer vehicle than a beat up old car.
