This is an exceptional small boutique hotel that has been very thoughtfully curated to ensure a peaceful and relaxing stay. Every detail has been carefully planned and from the minute we stepped in through the front door, we felt calm and comfortable. The breakfasts are superb. There are three choices of coffee blends- depending on your preference for strength and a very wide selection of teas, fruit juices, jams, pastries. Mila is on hand to prepare local hams, cheese and eggs together with delicious freshly baked breads. We loved the honesty bar for beers, wines etc. The hotel could not be in a better location right in the centre of Mahon, yet quiet and peaceful. I am very fussy about my bed - this memory foam bed (I believe?) was o e of the most comfortable I have slept in at a hotel. Lovely organic shampoo and body wash in the bathroom. I rarely write such a detailed review of my very many stays in hotels, but Ignasi and his team at Haverac deserve an exceptional review. Thank you.

There was nothing to dislike in this hotel. It was excellent in every way

We stayed at Hevresac for 3 weeks and felt completely at home. Their authentic, thoughtful approach to hospitality is truly unique: warm and welcoming without ever being invasive. Ignasi is a gem of a person, and the whole team is incredibly kind. They truly went above and beyond to help us every time we needed something. The space itself is full of character and creativity, with every corner inspiring something new. Set in a charming old merchant/privateer’s house, it blends history with tasteful interior design in the most special way. Comfy beds, silence, delicious homemade breakfasts, and every detail carefully considered. Location is also perfect right in the historical center of Mahon. A super special place we’d return to in a heartbeat, can’t recommend highly enough!

Everything was perfect!

Beautiful as soon as you step through the door , a visual delight which instantly encourages relaxation, from start to finish could not have been looked after better , everything you could possibly need at hand , breakfasts were to look forward to every morning, a real treat . Everyone involved within the special Hevresac were professional and charming , we enjoyed in the afternoon to go to the downstairs lounge area for a cup of tea and play board games with relaxing background music. Easy 45 minutes walk to Es Castell. 10 minute walk to the bus station and a 25 minute bus ride takes you to the beautiful beach of Son Bou . Within Mahon lots to see , museum , Art galleries, plentiful shops and in the middle a lovely park with abundance of birds to sit on a bench and read your book. We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed every minute.

The staff at Hotel Hevresac were exceptionally welcoming, especially the owner, Ignasi, who provided a welcome coffee on arrival and lots of suggestions both in person and on WhatsApp regarding things to do and see in Mahon and the surrounding area.This 18th century building has been lovingly redesigned and refurbished into a comfortable and relaxing hotel where mid-20th century furniture and modern art sits comfortably in a building of historic importance. Mahon has so much to offer, great restaurants, museums and people watching and proved to be a great three day introduction to Menorca before travelling to the southern coast for a week in the sun. Will most definitely return to Menorca and return again to Hotel Hevresac.

We liked everything...

The hotel is located in a beautifully renovated old town house, which has been tastefully and cosily furnished. You will immediately feel welcome, as if you were visiting friends. The spacious communal areas are perfect for lingering in. There are great magazines and art books to browse through for inspiration. Breakfast is excellent, offering a fine selection of locally sourced, high-quality products. It's not just a hotel; it's a great place. Ignasi is always happy to provide information and has lots of great recommendations and tips. I will definitely be back and am happy to recommend the hotel to others — I couldn't give it a higher recommendation.

The breakfast was very good. We loved the design. You let yourself in with a key code but contact with the hotel is friendly and proactive and 24 hrs in case of questions or anything you need. They go above and beyond in welcome snd assistance. An excellent hotel in Mao.

One point only -and not a “dislike” but because the building is historic, there is no lift upstairs. It was not a problem for us (yet although in our 60s) but maybe would be helpful to flag up (it may well have been but I may have missed) just in case carrying heavy suitcases upstairs would be a problem for someone.

Everything, the hotel and the rooms are very well designed. A lovely personal yet stylish decor, very comfortable and functional too! The location is perfect, a calm street literally 1min away from the center. The staff is incredible, Ignasi made us feel super welcomed. An incredibly helpful set of people run this place, super helpful, super friendly, always with a smile! Thanks you for everything, this was perfect!

We loved this hotel. Beautiful old building, very thoughtfully decorated, lots of books and interesting bits and pieces. The breakfasts were fantastic and the host so friendly. Great location, minutes from the centre but very quiet. Would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful space. The common areas were exceptionally beautiful with great ambience and aesthetics. The room was great, sparkling clean, bed was comfortable, beddings were nice and fresh. Staff were very helpful and accommodating and lots of information was shared via whatsapp. It was very easy to find and check in even later in the night that I arrived.

The room was a bit dark, not much natural light. But that didn't bother me.

This hotel does all the little things well. Great communication via WhatsApp etc. Hotel is decorated with nostalgic detail Hotel entrance is via key code. The room wasn't the biggest but for a solo traveller it waa perfect. Lovely communal area downstairs.. The wifi waa really strong and fast speed Location was great..as you're right in the middle of the city. About a 10min walk to the bus station.

Could have been a but more variety at breakfast but apart from that I can't fault it.
