I was drawn to this hotel by the offer of a free airport shuttle. The hotel is clean, and it has a lovely garden filled with beautiful flowers. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with soft, clean bedding. The air conditioning works well, and the hot shower has good water pressure. Plus, there's Wi-Fi! The swimming pool and café are located by the beach, offering stunning sunset views. The breakfast buffet is more than adequate, with both local and Western food options. The staff are friendly and helpful.

However, one downside is the beach. Despite the beautiful views, the beach is unfortunately littered with trash from nearby areas. I hope the hotel takes the initiative to clean it up, as it’s a valuable asset, especially with such a gorgeous sunset. Also, the location is a bit far from the city, so guests will need to take a taxi or a Gojek to get to the town center.

Close to beach, pool and food good too. Best thing was the staff who were very attentive and competent.

A little pricey (Bintang 100k) and needs more food options around it. Have to walk/ride towards Labuan Bajo for restaurant. Also bathrooms are ok but could do with an upgrade or severe clean.

Really enjoyed my 4 days. I had a villa room which was spacious and spotless. Huge king bed as well. The pool was great but could probably do with a few more sun beds. The beach was nice to look at but you probably don’t want to lay on it or swim in it. The hotel keeps there portion of sand clean though. Breakfast was basic but tasty but the indo food for lunch and dinner was great. The Gado Gado was delicious. The hotel is about 10 minutes out of town. $17k on a Gojek or Grab. Bikes only no cars for either company. I rented a scooter via the hotel at $100k per day. Staff are super nice. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend.

Breakfast quite simple, boiled and fried rice, two kinds of fruit juices from cartons, sausages and bacon slices. Every day is similar. Cooks sunny side up or smashed eggs, pancakes and waffles. Room service is good, every day is polite and convenient. Hotel has a well-kept garden area and a small beach. You can order in the restaurant local and european cuisine, free barbecue and tools are provided. Free transfer service from and to the airport.

Breakfast could be more varied. Please fix pool filter system and pump. Most rooms without balconies and terraces.

We were kindly upgraded to a Villa room. It was well appointed and had a fantastic view. Great location away from the noise of the town. Beautifully kept beach and grounds. Good selection at breakfast. Well priced for other meals. Highly recommend the grilled oxtail. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The staff are kind and helpful.

Could do with a few more sun loungers.

So glad I chose this small hotel about 2km from the town of Labuan Bajo. Located on a small private beach, it was a wonderful place to kickback after a day of sightseeing. The beach was cleaned every day and comfortable beanbags and sun loungers were provided. The sunsets from the beach were stunning and instantly "instagramable"! My room was spacious with plenty of room for luggage. The aircon worked well and there was a large smart TV. The bathroom had a high pressure shower with plenty of hot water, a sink with basic amenities and a toilet. While not luxurious, it was comfortable and I slept well every night (no noise). Breakfast was served in a gazebo on the lawn near the beach. It was the usual fare - plenty of fruit, bread, croissants and waffles, eggs, chicken sausages and beef bacon, all kind of eggs freshly cooked and rice, fried veg with chicken or fish. The coffee wasn't great but I found a neat little cafe across the road called "Pedro's" that served top-knotch Americano, Cappuccino and other drinks. All in all, it was very good value for money as the hotel provides free pick up and drop off to the airport. I booked my Komodo tour at the hotel and got a great tour for a very reasonable price with East Cruises. Thanks to Melania for her help with the booking, it was all so easy!

Nothing, it was great value for the price. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay on the beach with beautiful gardens, a swimming pool, free airport shuttle and a spacious air-conditioned room with a comfy bed, this is it!

Great view and ambience.. we got upgraded from deluxe sea view to villa type room. The room was big and clean room, swimming pool was also clean nice in the beach area. Beach is not intended for swimming, but there are alot of seat and umbrella for seating and just relaxing at the beach. Buffet breakfast was nice, with relaxing beach view. See alot of birds. It was raining at the afternoon when we were not at the hotel. The staff attentively brought our clothes line at the terace room to our room hence it wasnt get wet by raining. They also provided airport return transfer. Perfect fot staycation and relaxing

There was no stores surround the hotel area, and it was not walkable to the center area/harbour. But it is acceptable cause it was not too far either, it took only 10 minutes by car or motorcycle to center area.

We stayed at Luwansa twice for several nights and would gladly recommend it. The hotel is located a bit outside of Labuan Bajo (around 10 minutes by scooter), which makes it wonderfully quiet and peaceful. It’s surrounded by a beautiful garden, has a lovely pool, and even offers access to a small private beach. During our stays, we tried both a standard room and one of the villas. The villa was excellent – spacious, well-designed, and very comfortable, and we can recommend it without hesitation. The standard rooms, while clean and functional, felt a little dated, and the bathroom could benefit from some renovation. All in all, we really enjoyed our time at Luwansa and would definitely choose to stay here again.

Would definitely recommend this place to stay away from the uglier side of Labuan Bajo. You are still only 10 min away by scooter. The rooms are big and nice, comfy. The pool is an absolute highlight, it has the perfect temperature and just watching the sunset there is so nice. The beach is not good for swimming but still a nice view. Staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant was nice and prices weren’t crazy

Only thing might be that they have a laundry service based on pieces and not in kgs which is quite pricey, but they recommended us a company that picked up and delivered our laundry for a good price.

Well equipped and sizable room, daily room service, large swimming pool, and above all well trained service at the restaurant that serves good selection of entries. Also, hotel has free car service to/from airport.

Location: because it is impossible to call for taxi (Grab offers only scooter with driver) it is expensive to get ride to the town: hotel can order for Idr 100K one way. If you go on the road cars will stop and you can negotiate for Idr 60k. But that’s applicable if you staying more than two nights and you want to go to grocery store.
