Breakfast was a self-serve option, and I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety available. The kitchen was open to guests throughout the day, which added to the ‘feel at home’ experience. The spacious living room, stocked with plenty of board games, was a great space for guests to relax and enjoy their time

The room appeared somewhat dated and particularly the drawers, which were not very smooth to use. There was no microwave inside the room but we were able to use the one in the kitchen. A few improvements would go a long way in making the stay more comfortable.

The prompt replies to pre-visit questions. Self entry was seamless. Room was very spacious <KIng>. All amenities included. Coffee maker in room <Nespresso>. Regular coffee, including creamers, available in lobby. Portable AC !!!! (Big YAY!!!) AC was running upon arrival <plus music on TV>. Short walk to only open restaurant <Peaks> on the Monday. Quite surprised with the variety of choices for the self serve breakfast! Gorgeous shower!

Only downside was a large group that didn't arrive until after 11 and did not attempt to adhere to the 10:00 quiet time request.

The room was nice, spacious and clean. Very cozy vibe. The hotel is beautifully located, we even saw bears on the way up.

Really the only downside - however, a big one - was the breakfast. I can echo other reviewers in that it can be poorly stocked depending on when you get there. Another huge minus was the incredible amounts of waste - only paper cups/plates, disposable cutlery, food packaged in individual little plastic containers and recycling only for bottles and cans. This really hurt the ambiance.

Nicely located near good restaurant. Room was well equipped and comfortable.

Check in was quite difficult. Couldn't get in front door. Code provided didn't work for that. Had no wifi and no cell service. Tried to call number posted and reception was too hard to hear. Saved by some staff inside but even then, given wrong code for front door. Yikes! Too many emails to keep track of.

Very comfortable room with modern bathroom. No staff present but self-service breakfast "buffet" was available all day and had a great choice of food. Living room area was comfy and homely. Nice sauna. Restaurant underneath the Lodge (separate business?) was excellent with very friendly staff and good food.

There were no staff on the property at all ever. That was a little strange, as were the constant messages via email, the Booking app and text message!

Room was really spacious even for 4 people, this gave us extra comfort. Everything was flawless: cleanliness, facilities, communication with the staff and all the instructions digitally provided. They explicitly claim there's no manned front desk, therefore check-in and checkout are fully self service and our experience was great. The provided breakfast is essential but more than enough and still better than in other hotels, and it was perfectly fitting our needs. We could use this accommodation as a convenient spot to visit Golden and Yoho National Park in the summer. The lodge is only 15min drive from Golden city center. I would totally recommend staying here.

Our 2nd stay here. We love the area, the property and the rooms. Entry and exit is keyless, just use the code your sent for front door and room. Everything is clean and very well maintained, with added touches. The shower is amazing. The breakfast is varied and easy at access. Staff are on hand by phone or email and always reply in a timely manner and very helpful.

There was honestly nothing we didn’t like about our stay. Will be staying again on our next Canadian adventure

The size of the room was good and communication via email excellent. The location was pretty and about a 20 minute drive from town. There was a basic supply of breakfast such as muffins, banana bread, yogurt and cereal available for self serve.

Room maintenance not great for a premium suite (curtain hanging off), noisy large aircon unit in room, lack of physical staff on site, no water for coffee machine at breakfast or place to fill up.

The location was out of this world. Idyllic wooden lodge, Brandi was super nice and helpful. Great sized room and bathroom. Restaurant attached to building open Wed-Sunday. Lots of activities around and we liked that Golden was small and very laid back

Wonderful place to stay near Kicking Horse mountain resort. We were happy with all the little details from design and style, furnishings and ambiance, to self-serve breakfast and customer service. Although there wasn’t a reception desk, online communications were good. The restaurant on side is also highly recommended.
