The room was nice, spacious and clean. Very cozy vibe. The hotel is beautifully located, we even saw bears on the way up.

Really the only downside - however, a big one - was the breakfast. I can echo other reviewers in that it can be poorly stocked depending on when you get there. Another huge minus was the incredible amounts of waste - only paper cups/plates, disposable cutlery, food packaged in individual little plastic containers and recycling only for bottles and cans. This really hurt the ambiance.

Room was really spacious even for 4 people, this gave us extra comfort. Everything was flawless: cleanliness, facilities, communication with the staff and all the instructions digitally provided. They explicitly claim there's no manned front desk, therefore check-in and checkout are fully self service and our experience was great. The provided breakfast is essential but more than enough and still better than in other hotels, and it was perfectly fitting our needs. We could use this accommodation as a convenient spot to visit Golden and Yoho National Park in the summer. The lodge is only 15min drive from Golden city center. I would totally recommend staying here.

Our 2nd stay here. We love the area, the property and the rooms. Entry and exit is keyless, just use the code your sent for front door and room. Everything is clean and very well maintained, with added touches. The shower is amazing. The breakfast is varied and easy at access. Staff are on hand by phone or email and always reply in a timely manner and very helpful.

There was honestly nothing we didn’t like about our stay. Will be staying again on our next Canadian adventure

Location - easy walking to village and ski lifts😊 loved the outdoor sauna and views of the mountains- authentic cosy lodge with friendly staff.

Sustainability could be greatly improved at breakfast - use of compostable plates, bowls and utensils going into landfill was disappointing. Understand issues related to hygiene and practicality.. would be good to review options.

Very nice, calm and cozy cabin like accommodation with beautiful nature around. Furthermore, nice common space that can be used, with the sofas and board games. Breakfast available to make by yourself, good enough selection (no fried eggs/sausages and alike but pastry, milk, cereals, yogurts, juices, bread to toast, tea and instant coffee).

No air conditioning in the room unfortunately, although the fan available in the room and the windows have the mosquito net and can be opened if needed.

Everything was amazing: huge room with comfortable beds, huge shower, great communal living room. We checked in using a link we received and then got a pin for the front door and for our door. Very quiet neighborhood. There are no shops for breakfast, I believe, but you have a lot of options in Golden. I believe this is actually a ski resort that is being rented out to hikers and other travelers outside the ski season.

Keep in mind, there is no personnel at place. You have to ask your questions by chat.

The room was generous and complete with all necessary amenities, the breakfast held something for everyone and was stocked in advance so easy to get a muffin and hot chocolate for a supper snack if needed. The location was amazing, near the kicking horse gondola and chair lift. My husband and I were delighted with our stay and would definitely recommend it

Nothing to dislike

The location to the base of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is excellent, a short walk to the base of the Gondola. The breakfast area is stocked with snacks and drinks that are available all throughout the day. The beds were very comfortable and the Barrel Sauna was quite nice. The towels and robe's were also excellent.

No complaints.

Property is a well maintained, with a nice charm. Room is large, clean and comfortable. Self check in worked well, and there’s several parking spots available. It’s a ski resort location, quiet in summer.

Breakfast was very limited. Bar/restaurant options nearby are basically zero, definitely need a car to go to Golden (15 min drive)

Lovely, spacious room, very comfortable. The best shower - we were on a road trip, so tried a lot of showers!! Gorgeous fluffy bathrobes.

We didn’t check all emails beforehand (difficult when you’re on a road trip!) so didn’t realise we’d have to check in at a different location for this property.
