I loved the room and the cleanliness of it. I loved the balcony view except for the smokers to my left and right. The ocean view was amazing. Being able to see the view of the city and ocean was calming especially at night. My room was big, quiet and spacious! The breakfast wasn't really my thing, but the preparation of the setup was very clean.

The breakfast. More variety of options would have been better. The balcony smokers were annoying 😑. On both sides of me were smokers despite the very visible sign on the door before exiting out to the balcony, those people were smoking. I didn't care for that while drinking my coffee or eating my lunch.

Very easy to find, everything you need is there, including being able to watch right into the beach. I love that when you first walk into your suite you smell bleach/cleaning products…it’s so relieving to KNOW how clean it was compared to most places. We have three children and had to use the pull out couch in ours & it was surprisingly quite comfy. We cooked supper in our room to save money from the overpriced restaurants & the kids had a BLAST at the pool, the beach, & the balcony! They’re hoping we can bring them back soon. Best Mother’s Day weekend by far!

No washer/dryer in the room, but we knew this already & it was no biggie.

We really loved the property. The view from our walk around balcony was great . We had a partial view but we could see everything basically. The hotel smelled so good. It was very clean. The staff were all helpful and nice. The hotel is beach access right behind it. The hotel is directly on the beach. The location is great !

The parking wasn’t the best. The parking garage is small only two levels . If it is full you have to park in the parking lot which doesn’t have the best access to the hotel. Also, the shower head kept moving wouldn’t stay in place.

I loved the hotel, the location of the hotel, and how there were restaurants right besides us. Everything was wonderful! Will definitely be back! We loved it here!

The breakfast selection could definitely be better. No meats. The only meat u had was the sausage in the gravy. No grits or anything like that. Just biscuits, gravy, and eggs. There were cereal, bagels, and things like that, but no other choices than that. Other than that, the stay was exceptional. Will definitely be back with no hesitation!

Location great!! Pool great!! Hotel staff great!!! Suite was great!! Balcony was nice!! View great!! Breakfast for what you had was great!! Ladies taking care of area very attentive.

Understand the arm band but really. Some people wore it some didn’t, certain people were ask where arm band was and certain people weren’t ask. For the price of stay I expected more for breakfast selection. Hotel is older and needs a little attention. Our suite had crack in ceiling.

The property was located right on the beach. We chose a room that had a direct Sea view and it was outstanding. The two bedroom apartment included one and a half baths. And the facility had access to the beach and boardwalk. We were there off-season which meant there were very few people on the beach and we were walkable to at least three restaurants. It was also located two or 3 miles from the casino area, which was a plus for us as we were not interested in the casinos. I would definitely stay again.

Room 1908: The sofa should be replaced immediately! Impossible to sit in. The most uncomfortable sofa I have sat on in many years, in fact, I never sat on a sofa that poor in my life. I am not exaggerating. I had to put one of the kid's blow-up rafts under the cushions so you could sit there without sinking. Still was very uncomfortable. We gave up sitting on the sofa completely and used our "what-a-chairs" we brought to use at the beach. That sofa is a deal breaker. Everything else was very nice.

The hotel was great the staff loved them all they have a bar that's open Saturday and Sunday 4 to 6 happy hour loved it they also have a daiquiri truck outside they also had happy hour restaurants was in walking distance

Ok first off we had a room with a balcony but you can not smoke on it you have to go to the 3rd floor to smoke we on 8th floor ok ice machine on the 5th floor an you have take your trash out if you put the do not disturb sign on the door an when you get there you also have to pay 100 deposit if damages ok but let somebody know that at time of booking

The view, the staff, the clean clean clean rooms and common areas was just wonderful. The staff at this hotel is out of this world. Everyone is friendly and helpful. This place is the cleanest place we have ever been on any of our trips. Bed was comfy, bathtub was deep and wonderful, facilities all around were great.

Honestly it would be very picky but if open to suggestions there is only one washer/dryer for all the guest but “laundry” was advertised as an amenity. Over the coarse of our 4 days we tried 5 times and each time there were clothes being washed at that time. An additional machine or two would be helpful or housekeeping my the lb. Again not a complaint, just a suggestion.

When we arrived to the room we noticed it was a bit warm and quickly realized that the unit was not coming on. We notified the front desk about it. They sent a worker to look at it. After about 20 minutes of him trying to fix it with no luck they promptly changed our room and brought new keys up the room. Very smooth transition to second room. Everything was very clean and fresh. Bed was very comfortable and linens was very clean and crisp. Free Breakfast was delicious and the offerings were well maintained. Drinks in the hotel bar were very good and the bartender was very accommodating. Location of the room was great! Since we changed rooms we got to see both sides of hotel and we Enjoyed the views and balcony. We haven't stayed here before and didn't know what to expect but we will certainly be back to The South Beach Hotel!

The only downfall that we encountered was that some other guests were smoking pot and being really loud on the balcony above us. The smell was overwhelming so we were not able to relax on the balcony one of the nights were there. Once back inside the condo we couldn't hear or smell anything else. I don't fault the hotel for this, just something we experienced
