Castello de Butrio is set in a green landscape in the middle of wine fields. A very quite and rural area full of tradition. The Castello is a refurbished century-old building part of which is used as a B+B. The decoration is very nice, the breakfast is upper standard European style, similar to a normal hotel.

The place is not easy to find by car, even with a navigation system. The GPS spot of the entrance (46°00'47.8"N 13°20'35.9"E) should be loaded before leaving. The internet/WiFi is rather weak (20,6 / 2,4 Mbps). The furniture looks nice but is not suitable for use. There is not a single piece of furniture in the room where to sit on for more than a minute. There is not enough space for furniture of 2 persons on a short trip. The TV is rather old and small.

Quiet, wonderful decoration, stunning views, Lovely breakfast, charming helpful staff providing friendly personalised service. Beautiful pool and garden areas to relax. Location perfect to visit Udine / Grado beach / Collio wineries / Friuli mountains.

It is an absolutely beautiful place. The room was very comfortable, and the property was lovely. The breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Buttrio is a VERY sleepy place but there are a couple of great restaurants. Check out the Enoteca and the Trattoria Al Parco. The only issue is that you have to walk to town. No taxi service.

We were traveling from Vienna to Komo and stay in this hotel for 1 night. it is a very silent place, old castle with a spirit of Italy. amazing breakfast, rooms and view. We were very satisfied and would like to stay there again

nothing to say. it is a 100% place you need to visit if you stay in that part of Italy.

The hotel and grounds are so beautiful. The staff were amazing and even arranged a wine tasting in the vineyard.

The facilities were amazing, staff helpful, and the general space / experience.
