We loved everything about La Quinta Roja! The Hotel is unique and special and the courtyard in particular is a tranquil haven to unwind and relax during the day or the evening. The staff are a fantastic team and everyone was helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely with comfortable big beds and an excellent shower in the bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay in Garachico itself as the town is a wonderful location for a week's holiday, but it was La Quinta Roja that made our stay so special. The Manager was so lovely and shared the history of the building with us which we found so interesting. She has also clearly worked so hard to make the hotel the amazing place it is by her attention to detail. On arriving late in the evening the lovely receptionist could not have been more friendly, welcoming or helpful - she even provided us with a kettle and cups for our room so I could make myself cups of tea as I don't drink coffee. The waiting staff were also very attentive but not intrusive, just very genuine and friendly. We would also like to mention the cheerful lovely cleaning ladies who did an excellent job of freshening our room every day. Last but not least we would like to say that the food was so good that we chose to eat in the Hotel restaurant 'Silogia' every night that it was open. Delicious !

We honestly can't think of anything!

Fantastic location in the heart of the most charming town on Tenerife. The hotel itself is beautiful with a great sitting area in the centre and everything you could need to feel comfortable and at home. The breakfast is great and the restaurant serves quality food at good prices for dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful the whole week that we were there. Our room was tastefully appointed and cozy. Overall a fantastic experience up there among the best that we have had.

You can hear almost everything going on outside and one night we couldn’t sleep because of a cat that wouldn’t stop screaming.

This hotel truly exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile. From the amenities to the service, everything was top-notch. We were so impressed with our stay that we decided to stay an extra night and would highly recommend the place. The food was also excellent, and we especially enjoyed the variety at the breakfast buffet. There were so many options to choose from, something for everyone. The meals throughout the day were also very good. Overall, we were very pleased with the food.

The most beautiful building and a delightful bedroom/sitting room. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the owner/manager was always on hand making sure everyone and everything was perfect. The central courtyard was so inviting. Used the small rooftop terrace to sunbathe in complete peace. The restaurant was exceptional. Would normally head out in evening but the food was so well prepared and tasted delicious that we spent our evenings there. Nice buzz about the restaurant. Hotel is in the centre square with lovely views all round.

Absolutely nothing

A very cute and cozy hotel with really helpful and friendly staff. Room was comfortable, especially the beds and pillows. Big shower with good water pressure. Beautiful historical building with a lovely inner courtyard that felt magical. Everything is clean and well kept. Very good breakfast - varied and tasty. Garachico is a lovely small town on the northern coast of Tenerife. A free public parking lot is available 3-minutes away by foot. We had a wonderful time.

Our room was at the back of the hotel, facing a busy street, so it was quite noisy from early in the morning until the evening.

Location was in the centre of town with plenty of free parking overnight in nearby car park.

Our room was a bit too dark to spend daytime in, however the courtyard and roof space were lovely areas. There was street noise during the day until late evening, mainly people eating and drinking as vehicular access is restricted.

Room was huge & very comfortable.Breakfast was good lots of choice.lots of areas to chill.Rooftop also very quiet & views were impressive.Reception always friendly & helpful.Location excellent.

We thought hotel restaurant a bit overated found much better food in town. Careful going up stairs to rooftop….

Beautifully restored historic building with very stylish decoration. The courtyard is a very tranquil place to spend time and the food is excellent. Staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Location is outstanding and the view from our bedroom at the front of the property was outstanding.

Stayed at an unusually hot week for October & the air conditioning didn’t cool the room as much as needed so had difficulty sleeping as a result. I wouldn’t let this stop me staying here though as all of the plus points out-way this minor issue!

The breakfast was very good could be eaten indoors or on the patio. The hotel was in a beautiful square and not far to walk to the sea front. Restaurant was marvellous. Staff friendly and courteous.

Coffee was provided in our room, but no tea and no milk.

The breakfast was a typical Spanish buffet style. Not much variety when staying for a week & no hot options available. Lovely setting outside for eating. Ate twice in the hotel restaurant, both times very good. All the staff at the hotel were charming & helpful, especially with restaurant recommendations.The hotel was a beautiful old building, with lots of lovely features. Good location for visiting many of the island’s attractions. Much preferred the north of the island.

Our room was a good size with a smaller room off, good to sit & relax. There were very few plug points in our room which meant frequently swapping our various appliances. Very basic toiletries in the bathroom apart from a shower gel fixed to the shower wall & a hair dryer in the bathroom also fixed to the wall. Useless for drying & styling hair. Tissues in the room would have been a nice touch. There was no mirror for putting on make up, a must in all hotels. Also lighting poor, resorted to applying makeup at the window, not ideal
