My stay here was perfect. I would give it 11 stars if I could. The hosts were absolutely lovely; the building is beautiful; located on a quiet street; towels / keys / bedding / a safe and even some items of free food were provided. The host wasn’t available when I wanted to check in so her adorable and very polite, friendly young son greeted me promptly at the door and showed me around. The bed was comfy and the shower / wash facilities were excellent. Not to mention the place is breathtakingly beautiful inside, with artwork & a rooftop patio. I will definitely come back if I’m ever staying in the area again. Thank you❤️

I loved the hostel, it gave such a homey vibe and the hosts there were really nice and helpful! The kitchen was well equipped and the place was really clean. It was 20' from the estación de guaguas in la orotava but there were other bus stops closer also, and it was 10' from the center of the town and my favourite gardens😍

Unfortunately I found ants on my bed, I don't know where they were coming from. I also got the upper bed unfortunately and it moved a little too much, it was a little uncomfortable. Also when I tried to have a shower at 21:00 there was no hot water 😕

Fantastic Hostel!! I stayed there for a very long time (4 weeks) and it was always super tidy and clean. Also nice people around, very social with a cozy area to get to know people. Many creative paintings everywhere around, rooftop is lovely... Plus the hosts are super welcoming, they have very good recommendations for the area and it's always lovely to have a chat with them (they traveled a lot and know other countries very well as well ;))

I had an incredible time staying at this hostel. The location is perfect for exploring Tenerife, and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I was even invited to a BBQ with the host, his friends, and family, which was fantastic! We enjoyed some great conversations, and it was a nice opportunity to practice my Spanish. The overall atmosphere made the stay truly enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in Tenerife. Highly recommended!

The mattresses of the bed are sagged (in a u shape). I think these should be replaced

Lena, who was in charge, is a real gem. She was extremely communicative in our exchanges, which reassured me to a great extent. That was truly important as my arrival was subject to many conditions, which she was more than happy to accommodate. On arrival she offered me some tea and also lent a helping hand with my luggage, which I needed to have taken care of after my checkout. Thanks to that I could climb Volcano Teide without any unnecessary literal burden on my shoulders. After my 24hour climb up and down I was offered a keen ear to listen to my stories as well as shower and towel, to my greatest of reliefs. Other than that the room was spacious with a comfy bed, the kitchen had all I needed, the bathrooms were fine and the showers worked perfectly. There's nothing more I could have wished for. Lena definitely deserves a rise with her super friendly attitude. Hospitality at its best. If you're reading it, Lena, you really made my day. Thank you so so much.

I had a very pleasant stay at the accommodation, especially enjoying the separate room with a comfortable double bed. The shared bathroom and kitchen were adequate and offered good value for money. The neighborhood was pleasant, tranquil, and quiet. The staff, including the owner, were extremely friendly and helpful, providing valuable insights on local attractions. The atmosphere was vibrant with guests from all around the world, offering great opportunities for engaging conversations and cultural exchanges. Additionally, there was the option to retreat to the living room for some solitude if desired.

Cleanliness was occasionally questionable, it wasn't dirty, just not sparkling clean. There were also intermittent issues with hot water, although there supposedly was a solution, it didn't always work for me.

Very nice hostel, extremely cheap compared to the others on the Island. Wonderful location (well, at the top of a steep walk but overall close to town centre, the sea and the mountains, plus La Orotava is really a Jewel). Easy check-in, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Showers are spacious and with hot water, amazing terrace as common area. At the time I went, once a week the staff prepares an amazing BBQ for a small contribution for all the guests! Perfect location if you want to go to the Teide, but also very close to the Ocean

It's not a feedback (the hostel is in no way responsible), just a warning for the users: if you go in winter, it is cold at night. Both in the rooms and the common area. I underestimated it

The hoste feels like a hub for those who are not the typical Tenerife tourists. The volunteers who work in the hostel are so kind and friendly and always give a good advise. If you want to live a bit of a local experience away from the ugly resorts and hostel chains, this is a great option.

My room didn't have a window, but that's understandable as it's a traditional tiny Canarian house.

The hostel is located in an old house and has a charming atmosphere. There is a lovely yard inside and a cosy terrace on the rooftop. The bunk beds are a bit wobbly, but fine, each one has a socket next to it. Enough toilets and showers, well equipped kitchen with free coffee and tea. The hostel crowd was great, lots of loughs and good chats. Perfect location to access hiking trails, good bus connections.

Everything. Only stayed two nights but like a home from home. Owners, volunteers and other guests all so friendly. Really comfortable bed, quiet location, nice rooftop terrace and great kitchen. Free washing machine if need it. Spacious room with locker storage. Wish could have stayed longer

Nothing. It is up a steep hill from main bus station but still great and there is another bus can get to about 100m away!
