Very nice service. Fairly good food. Spacious room

After a few days of staying there, my girlfriend started getting bedbug bites. There are hundreds of them! It itches like hell and nothing helps.

I have read several reviews here as well as on Google about this complex and they were pretty frustrating. Some commented on bedbugs, some complained about low food quality and choice options. The hotel we stayed in is part of three hotels neighbouring each other sharing facilities - so you get use breakfast/dinner/pool in all of them. We were in Hotel Canarife Palace (Bluesea Resort). The rooms were old (a bit dirty carpet), but they were okay, spacy, and good enough. The staff - especially Mr. Pedro - was amazing at dinners!!! We loved him!!!

We had breakfast and dinner option, and this was good enough for us - we used the hotel as a based for our discovering the island. When you have this food option, you need to pay for drinks during dinner - 3 EUR for adults and 1.5 EUR for kids, but this is ok. Parking at the hotel is also paid - which was surprising for me, but you can always park on the street around the hotel - no more than 5 mins walk, but you won't find the place just opposite to the hotel :-( Almost everyday there was a party/animation programme, which was quite loud and we heard it in our rooms (2nd floor).

We liked that it was convenient with stroller as they had elevators and provided us with a baby cot to our room. They also had a smaller indoor pool with very friendly staff, that was the only alternative for us to swim as the outdoor pools were too cold.

The breakfast and dinner buffet was not price-worthy. Breakfast had almost no selection of healthy things such as vegetables.

Double room was massive and kept very clean with a good shower. The decor was dated with the exception of the bathroom which had obviously recently been refurbished. The beds were ok but the double was two twins together as seems to be common practice in Spain. There were no kettle or ironing facilities however. The hotel lobby and corridors were well presented and bright and airy. The food was exceptional with different selections during our stay. Some of the best hotel buffet food I've had. The location is quiet with amazing views of the sea and Mount Tiede. We would definitely stay here again and probably upgrade to one of the renovated rooms.

Fine big spacious place in a quiet area with access to all the things u need right on your doorstep. Plenty of outdoor stuff swimming pools and a seated area, big restraunt with a good range of food hot and cold, i found it relaxing, a little bit removed from the down town centre but there's a complimentary bus to town every day and back which is great u can walk down, lots of steps along the way or take the local bus from the main road, walking back up not too easy. Rooms are big and airy. Overall a good place to stay for a few days.

It's a little away from the town but so are all the other hotels near by, so it's not anything major.

Room was outdated in style and furnishings but kept spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good and typical buffet choice with hot and cold dishes but lacked variation in fruit and good quality yoghurts for our tastes. Main meals lacked variation in main course choice but had excellent choices of vegetables, salads and soups. Quality of food was excellent. The staff at this hotel are extremely efficient and very friendly. Pool area is very good and attractive with good landscaping and many places to sit and enjoy the sun. There is always a lifeguard on duty and there is also a children's pool. Itis a safe and clean area

The bars were noisy with evening entertainment. There is nowhere to sit and have a quiet drink in the evening. Our room had threadbare carpeting but was very clean.

VERY CLEAN! Room was very clean and all public areas! Food was very good for price we paid! All staff were super super friendly! Size of room.and bed was amazing! Water very warm in bathroom!

Little difficult to learn the ways of the hotel. You check in a different hotel to where you stay, noone told us you have too book gym, pool towels you get from a different reception. Easily resolvable as could just be given a map and information sheet at check in.

The hotel was welcoming and the rooms were very big and clean. Beds are very big with plenty of sheets etc, housekeeping happy to change towels every day. Staff were polite and helpful. Went fully inclusive, the food and drink variety was ok except that the chefs seem to believe that they have to put meat in everything, I am vegetarian and just about found stuff to eat each day, why do they have to put cold ham in most of the salads ? Why do they have to put meat into the "vegetable risotto" ? Why meat in the watercress soup ? 10% of the UK are vegetarian or vegan, with so many English people there why not cater for them ?

This hotel is nowhere at all near the beach! The nearest beach according to Google is 1.3km away - a 16 minutes walk. And to be honest it is not a beach worth going to. The only way for the beach to be closer is by measuring on a map straight across the buildings. I will also advise people to study the weather in North Tenerife Vs South Tenerife, they are very different, if you want to go in a hot holiday especially out of season I would really recommend that you go South Tenerife. ( No fault of the hotel ).

We wasn't sure what to expect from the reviews we have read but we got back from Blue sea yesterday and we had a wonderful time. Will start with the rooms, they are as people say dated but that didn't matter to us, they was spacious (this is an understatement) clean (cleaned every day) had everything you needed. Down side the Aircon wasn't the best but we found if you put any card in the slot the Aircon will stay on all day so we ended up using a library card lol. Food: Was plentiful and loads of variety (something for all our party) not 5 star but what do you expect from a buffet all inclusive, we certainly did not go hungry. Pool: Decent pools, you do have to put your towel down early to get a sunbed otherwise you will be stuck with nothing to sit on. Pool is cleaned every day. Animation staff put music on and do aqua aerobics and water Polo. One thing we was not happy about was the choice of music was really bad in terms of swearing and sexual content when the is children around (some content extremely explicit). Evening entertainment: Something on every night (not very catered towards British tourists). You have to get there early to get a seat. Staff: All really friendly can't fault them Location: Decent in terms of shops but not near a beach. All in all we would go back

The hotel had amazing facilities, very clean, friendly and helpful staff, meals available throughout the day. It’s situated in a safe area and a short walk from the main strip.

I thought the room was a bit old fashioned but did the job as we didn’t spend a whole pile of time there, it was very spacious and including a balcony with a gorgeous view, was great value for money for what we got.
