The overall experience was great, would surely recommend NARENDRA SINGH JHALA FROM THE FOOD N BEVERAGE MANAGER - he took great care as we were vegetarians and made sure our food issues are taken care of, even when we were visiting for sightseeing the breakfast was been taken care for to-go. During booking reservations for dinner we had been guided well for various restaurants by him. Chef RANA and other chef also made sure we get great food in other restaurants THAI, ITALIAN AND INDIAN. Mr. joseph in reservation was very friendly and all the staff at front desk are welcoming.

the bed single were too narrow, the birds during meals and during the beach are very annoying. needs to be taken care of.

All the stay was amazing, if we go back to Zanzibar we will stay here for sure, no doubt. The staff is super nice, very friendly all time, Justin from the bar is the best!! Also, the views, the beach, the room and all the facilities provided are perfect.

The breakfast was good but the dinner and lunch should be better, it will be better to have more different food options. Chicken with too many spices was the most repeated dish, I’d like to hace more options to choose.

The location is fantastic with a great beach and one of the best stretches of ocean for swimming. rooms are large and well spaced out and the all inclusive covers almost all of your needs. Premium bottle of wine with dinner and some spa treatments were the only extras we needed. The hotel was full but never felt busy with plenty of sun beds and always a seat in the bar. The activities were great (thanks Constantia and the rest of the activities team). I spend weeks choosing a hotel, reading reviews, worrying about making a bad choice so take my advice and book this one! 😁

There were a lot of locals and Masai patrolling the beach and they were too much sometimes. That said the curio market directly next to the hotel is great.

The resort staff in general were very friendly. The coconut stand bars. The rooms were spacious and comfy. Best for last; THE BEACH! With the tide varying during the time of the day, you sense that feel of transportation, experiencing different amazing sceneries and the best one yet was the mini island that just pops in front of you whenever the tide was low.

The food in general needs to be upscaled, It does not match 5 star resort standards. The resort were charging double the rates for any transportation service they were organizing.

How do I begin? I have traveled around the world - 35 countries visited so far and I have to say Zanzibar is now at the top of my list! People are friendly & very welcoming especially at the Neptune hotel - from the security staff, receptionist, waiters/esses, cleaners, managers, chef to the animation team. They have absolutely been all lovely, professional, accommodating and welcoming! Anything you ask, they will do everything from their side to make it happen. I forgot my phone charger in my previous hotel prior to arriving in Neptune and Receptionist has managed to kindly contact the hotel, go in person in hotel and get it back to me. Absolutely outstanding service! It was my birthday and they sang for me to celebrate my birthday, offered me a cake made just for me and made feel special :-) Room, facilities, swimming pool, gym, restaurants - all were absolutely stunning Even on our last day, we checked out at 6.30am and they still managed to prepare us lunch boxes (breakfast starts only at 7am) Thank you so much Neptune Hotel for making my stay unforgettable Asanté Sana!!!

The property is excellent with a great location, excellent food and wonderful staff. The Namaste Indian Restaurant, Gusti Italian Restaurant & Pwani Restaurant have great food with very courteous staff.

Location and staff was great. Restaurants was not great but they have many varieties.

One of our room had a weird smell , like a really intense bug spray or oven gas. Even though they never sprayed that room due to my son's allergy. When I talked to housekeeping about it, they said they don't smell anything. Although it was really strong for the 4 of us.

Staff, beach, pool the weather! Was all just amazing!
