Great location and host. We'd booked the B&B nearly a year in advance and the communication with the property was excellent. Location is an easy 10 minute walk into the very centre, located in a quiet residential street. We walked from the rail station which took around 15 minutes. The owner Ron was super helpful with advice and very friendly. Our room was No 3 at the very top and had a small mezzanine seating area. Shower was very large and excellent. Room was very well appointed and as with the rest of the place, well decorated and very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and without stress. I'd have no hesitation in returning here at all.

If you had mobility issues or a lot of luggage, the narrow staircase up to the second floor may pose you a little difficulty.

Excellent location, close to places of interest and the city centre, and handy for the station too. We walked everywhere. The owner was very helpful, for example we arrived at lunchtime and asked if we could leave our suitcases at the property before checking in fully, but he allowed us to access our room earlier than advertised, which we appreciated. The room was a good size, with a huge bathroom, and had a kettle and supplies for making hot drinks. Breakfast was good, and quite plentiful, although the girl serving it was very quiet and we had some confusion on the first morning over my request for cold milk for my tea. But that was resolved for the rest of our stay. In better weather the outside seating area would have been appealing.

The coat stand in our bedroom was wobbly and came apart, and the cupboard next to it just had shelves in, so replacing those with a small wardrobe would have finished the otherwise well-equipped room off nicely.

Beautifully decorated B&B (wish my house looked as good!) on a quiet street, comfy bed. Convenient location between train station and city centre. Good, healthy breakfast; wifi easily connected and worked well. Friendly, helpful staff whom we met at breakfast. Owner was responsive when contacted via booking.com messaging. Could leave our luggage there after check-out, with easy retrieval instructions to follow given by breakfast staff. We had a comfortable and relaxed stay here.

Not a deal-breaker for us but just something to note : Going up to top floor on steep narrow flight of steps with 🧳... (without 🧳, the steps are fine).

Small and intimate property which is located around a 15 minute walk from the Bell tower. On a residential street which is lovely and quiet. The breakfast is excellent! We loved our stay here and it is convenient for the Train Station. Highly recommend We stayed 3 nights and slept well. We made good use of the tea and coffee making facilities in the room

If you struggle with stairs you need to think about accessibility as our room was on the top floor

Lovely little house, close to everything, but far enough away to be nice and quiet. Very accommodating for breakfast (given that we were vegan), loved the fresh fruit. Large room and bathroom with everything you could need provided for you. Radiator beside bed would not turn off so made for warm evenings but we were able to open the windows which helped enormously. Completely understandable that could not be repaired over weekend.

We stayed for one night and wish it had been longer. This place is in a great location, and it's also really lovely. It's cosy, pretty and comfortable. Our room had a lovely view, the bed was big and comfy and we were given lots of teas in the seating area on the mezzanine. The breakfast was great and the atmosphere in the shared area was welcoming. Ron's communication was great. We loved this place and hope to return. Highly recommended.

Room was very nice, roomy and comfortable. The breakfast was good, a typical European continental breakfast. Location was very good, centered between the train station and the bustling tourist center, very quiet street. Only two other guests staying while I was there so the house was very quiet.

Did not see any staff member until the final morning (stayed three nights) in the breakfast room. Finding the building after dark when arriving wasn't easy, no signage outside to indicate it was a B&B. I had to look up the building number on my phone. And then the only way in was to call the phone number on my booking and I was buzzed in the front door. I know it's not usual for European accommodations to have screens on windows but that would be a nice addition, had mosquitos buzzing my head all night long. I didn't need wifi while I was there but didn't see any information on it in the room, I'm sure it would've been easy to contact Ron for the credentials.

Excellent location. The owner, Ron, was very friendly. We were made to feel like one of the family. The house was renovated to an excellent standard. We were on the top floor, and it was beautiful watching the sun setting in the evening. You are around a 15-minute walk to the market square , however, there are loads of restaurants and bars within a 2 minute walk. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices.

Lovely location, easy to walk to all areas. Spotlessly clean. Very welcoming. Great space in bedroom and bathroom. A bath, unheard these days! Netflix was a bonus on a rainy evening. Patio area at rear would be great in the spring/summer time. We were unlucky that it rained or we would have been happy to use it with a glass of wine or two! Loved everything about it! Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Can't say anything let it down except maybe you have to park a little way away but it's all flat so no great problem.

Beautiful location, room, host and surroundings. Our room was amazing! Private and accommodating serving our breakfast earlier due to early train. Quiet street.

Continental breakfast, not our favourite choice, we prefer English breakfast option ( but understand that we were in Belgium). Fruit bowl and yoghurt were nice. More milk and cereal choices would be great, with access to a toaster to toast yummy bread provided. Coffee and orange juice was wonderful. Confusing address, nothing on door to say it’s the correct location. But Ron responded to what’s app message straight away and buzzed us in which was reassuring.
