The hotel was centrally located near all the major landmarks around Kumbakonam. The breakfast spread was really extensive and of good quality! The rooms were also extremely clean and well maintained.

We had major issues with the bathroom. Water was constantly leaking from the shower cubicle to the floor. The housekeeping/maintenance staff responded but did not know how to handle the situation. The staff need to be better trained and more friendly and knowledgeable. Also, it is highly recommended that you open a pure vegetarian restaurant as an alternative option.

My daughter and I had an extremely comfortable stay at Quality Inn Viha. The rooms were well kept with a modern bathroom, and the hotel was tastefully decorated. The staff at reception were very helpful and allowed us a late check-out. There was even accommodation and meals arranged for drivers. The food at Annalakshmi Restaurant was excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kumbakonam.

There was nothing to dislike.

Really amazing staff, my friend was unwell and they helped us get the medicines from the pharmacy. Also it's in prime location. The hotel did arrange for taxi service around nearby locations. Food served was good. The rooms were bright and clean. Its one of the best places we stayed so far in our South India tour completely value for money.

Right from reservation confirmation, room stay was very comfortable, neat, clean, well maintained room and well mannered staff especially Reception staff Ms.Jothi was courteous, complementary breakfast was full spread served as early as 7.30 am with smile, really awesome hospitality, worth the money

Until I checked in did I realize this is a Quality Inn by Choice hotels (like in US).Room was comfortable and as pictured on Booking. Restaurant had reasonably priced dinner and breakfast had eggs to order along with Indian cuisine. Received an English language newspaper in the morning.

Didn't have any hand towels.

The maintenence of the building was superb...I was able to feel the same standards of Dubai in Kumbakonam..the room was spacious , clean and shower and bathroom were exemplary...the linen only needs a bit of improvement in quality..overall, a fantastic place to stay if you really care for cleanliness...

The linens were looking off white and needs change...

Breakfast we could not have as we had to leave early morning to visit the temple and though we requested for some snacks to be packed but unfortunately night receptionist not kept the message with the front desk official next day early morning. We were served coffee. Rest of the experience was great and we'll stay again next time.

We liked cleanliness. Housekeeping and room service is good. Staff members are polite.

We dint like both veg and non veg together in restaurant. Pure veg restaurant should be separate as many people travel to Kumbakonam as pilgrim to visit temples and would prefer vegetarian food.

The rooms were good ,comfortable and value for money .we stayed from 30sep- 3oct 22, ordered room service for north indian veg dinner -The food was very good and super quick service(kadhai paneer,dal tadka, aloo jeera, butter Naan etc.). Check in and check out was hassle free.

I had booking from 30sep to 4oct and had paid full booking amount in advance,however due to change of plans I had to checkout on 3rd early morning at 7am and requested hotel if they could give me some discount on my food bills in Lieu of checking out a day early as it was 1 day tariff loss for me...I understand it was an exception request however I wud hv been delighted even if I wud hv got anywhere between 25-50% discount on food bill(very small amount) just as goodwill gesture...not a complain but I feel if accomodated it wud hv been great.

The ambience was a good South Indian one and that feeling was good.

Instead of playing western music in the restaurant, they shd play proper indian classical instrumental music and maintain a more Indian atmosphere. I feel even guests from abroad will appreciate it more than western music.
