Superb location, apartment overlooked the pool which was excellent , always somewhere to sit with shade or sun. Apartment was huge! Lovely layout and en suite in the one room was a bonus. Air con in bedrooms was excellent. All equipped with everything you need to self cater.

The living/dining area would benefit from air conditioning. It’s a large area with only one fan over the seating area. Perhaps even an additional fan over the dining area so two in total to cover a room of that size would be a welcomed addition as we found it too hot to stay at the table for too long. The oven and hob built in ignition/spark didn’t work so we had to use matches (provided) to light the hob and oven which wasn’t ideal but did do the job. Mosquito sliding doors leading to the balcony were abit rickety and didnt always slide smoothly which is annoying when you’ve got children coming in and out. Not the end of the world though.

Spent the month of February in Ta Frenc, in a very spacious apartment that had everything I required. As a single female, I felt very safe and comfortable. Good wifi, TV and washing machine. The sea and pool views from the balcony were absolutely stunning (46C). The pool is lovely, although a tad baltic this time of year! Beautiful vista of the lighthouse and nearby hill top town too. On a clear night you could see the lights of Sicily twinkling in the distance! The countryside was a lush green sprinkled with yellow wild flowers and prickly pear. Just gorgeous! Great walking. Only 3 days rain in the month and beautiful blue skies. Ghasri is a small quiet rural community with a supermarket (12 mins walk away). There was a bus to Victoria once an hour and I survived without renting a car. If Zeppi's bar was moved from Qala to Ghasri, I don't think I would have ever left!!! Special thanks to Angelo, Christian and the lovely ladies in the Fanal office for making my stay so special.

Apartment was very cold at night in Feb but had read that in a previous review and was prepared. Survived with a hot water bottle and quilt! Worth it for the view! Would have liked if there was a cafe, bar or restaurant in the area. Some of the restaurants and bars in neighbouring Gharb and Zebbug were closed for the winter break.

We stayed at this apartment for a two-night holiday, and it completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless. The apartment was immaculately clean, fresh linens, gleaming surfaces, and not a speck of dust anywhere. It had a calm, airy feel that instantly made us feel relaxed and at home. The space was beautifully furnished, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the little touches like soft towels, a well-equipped kitchen, and thoughtful décor made a big difference. You can tell the hosts really care about keeping the place in top condition. One of the highlights was definitely the pool. Just like the apartment, it was super clean and well-maintained. The water was crystal-clear, and the surrounding area was peaceful and perfect for lounging. We spent hours just floating, reading, and soaking up the sun, it felt like our own private retreat. The location was also ideal, quiet enough for a relaxing break, but still close to local attractions and great dining spots.

The only small downside was that there was no AC in the living area—it did get a bit warm during the day, but with the fans and good airflow, it was still manageable.

The apartment was very spacious, nice view towards the pool. 2 bathrooms to suit 4 people. Also, the kitchen was pretty well equipped so you can cook at home sometimes.

The towels were not changed during our stay, and we had to wash them ourselves (there are 2 washing machines in the facility, but you must have your own detergent ), and this happens unless you book for 8 nights or more ( we booked 7 nights ). The staff did bring new towels once during our stay upon request and other things ( shower gel, shampoo, ironing table and iron ) without any additional fees, but they left some shoes dirt marks in the bathtub when refilling. I do think that changing the towels at least 2-3 days apart should be included for the price we paid.

We were impressed with the service, the cleanliness of the apartment, which included everything we needed. We are a family of 4, including a toddler and we were super comfortable with everything we needed. We also downloaded the room's app on our phones that included all the info we might need like: check-in/out dates/times, policies, codes, bookings for other equipment etc. The pool was also really clean, its very big and the environment is quite and very calming. Would definitely visit again!

The location is very quiet and peaceful.It is very clean and the pool is awesome.The apartment has everything one needs.

The only downside is that there are no toilets near the pool so we had to get back to our apartment every time we needed to go.Although it is a short commute it is still inconvenient for the apartments which are not adjacent to the pool.

Spacious, clean and well equipped. Easy access to the pool. Quiet location. Fresh, new washing up sponges provided which I appreciated. Towels also provided. Look forward to going back 😊

Access- Our apartment was on the lower floor, and due to no/intermittment lighting, access to the apartment was very dark and we would need to use our torchlight on our mobile phone to see and unlock the door. Maintanence -One of the sinks in the bathroom wasn't draining, but we were only staying 3 nights so never bothered to complain. Location- If you dont have a car you will spend alot on taxi's or bolts as it is a bit far from victoria - but we bugdeted for that.

The pool area is very nice. The staff was helpful when we locked ourself out. We liked the coffee machine. It was sweet with the cats that lived in the area. We saw a chameleon climbing up a tree.

There should have been a toaster in the kitchen. The towels should be washed more often. The cleaner could have waited until we got out before she started cleaning.

The pool was a good size and the closing times were good so it doesn’t get loud at night. The apartments are spacious & quiet

Poor cupboard space in the kitchen, no shelves in the fridge so had to literally stack all the food on top of each other. No cupboards or shelving in bathroom. Only 1 bath towel per person. €50 fine if you leave the kitchen even a little dirty - not something you should worry about when you’re on holiday & there are cleaners.

The cleanliness of the place is amazing, we met the housekeeper Sue which I found very helpfull. The place itself is amazing, pool very clean and the atmosphere 👌, actually were thinking of booking again in September.

Mattresses need improvement, not so comfortable. We would have liked to have an ac in the livingroom, afterall its coin opereted.
