Beautiful large and modern room. Very well appointed and a l9vely area to spend time especially one night when the weather was atrocious we used the enormous Bath in the bedroom! Quite a unique feature and lovely thing to experience ! The position of the Hotelis fantastic for exploring the old town and the newer area with a carparkn in close proximity .

Wifi wasnt very quick, iPod dock is old style (not that i have an iPhone and maybeTV needs to have facility to connect to phones as BBC world news is not a great watch if you have time on your hands The car parking which is alluded to on booking is not included and maybe needs to be stated on searches . All hotels i booked on this trip were part of the "parking" search but all required an extra fee , something that isn't the end of world but frustrating after a long drive and needing to offload baggage etc. None of these pointers are really negative they would just improve the experience even more

Very friendly and professional staff. Clean. Central location in Colmar, close to all attractions.

We didn't like : -the "open space" bathroom idea. There could be a full-wall and door built between bathroom and bedroom, it's easy and doable. -WC space was near bed (still, with a door...), and no lavatory inside -balcony was common with next room, and ... dusty ( not cleaned); the same with the tables and stools from courtyard -the breakfast selection is poor, for 4 star hotel. Of course, you have something to eat, indeed; but selection is very weak, coffee is VERY weak (didn't expect that, in France ... Was a "parody" of coffee ... no taste, not strong ...)

The location was great as it was in a walking range to both the train station and also the main tourist area, and it was calm, nonetheless. The bed was super comfortable and provided a great night's sleep after a full day of exploring around. The staff is very nice as well!

The breakfast could have more variety. We had to leave earlier on our departure day, before breakfast hours, and they didn't offer breakfast in a bag as is typical in these cases. The breakfast area is super tiny. Another down point is the size of the rooms, and there is no effective separation from the shower to the room. When one gets a shower the steam goes into the room. That is probably the reason the fire detectors were covered with tape, which is a serious risk hazard.

A true “ Diamond in the Rough “ !! In Colmar on an alley-like street with rather unattractive building on either side and across but this hotel shows a lot of pride of ownership and design . The entry through a small courtyard is pleasant , clean and airy . Very good secure bicycle storage . The reception person was a young man named Jose who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable . One of the friendliest welcomes we have had in our many years of biking through Europe and staying at multiple hotels . There is a lift to the rooms which are quite spacious , modern and well designed . A jacuzzi tub plus a separate shower in the room . 200m. to the old town with multiple shoppes and restaurants . Quiet street throughout the night . Breakfast was not spectacular but certainly adequate .

Breakfast was simple continental style but good. Unusual modern hotel in an old setting but excellent location within 100 meters of the old city of Colmar.

Car parking is 200 meters away in a separate underground car park which is expensive. Hotel staff parked car for me but had to collect it the following morning which was not as straightforward as it should have been. Arrangement needs improvement with better communication. I’m

This small hotel is a gem. A real find. The room was not huge, but very well laid out and wanted for nothing. Excellent air conditioning, good modern bathroom, etc. Breakfast was also excellent. Choice of everything and personal service for coffee and any other extras required. There was no on-site parking, but the "Rapp" parking garage was only about 250 meters away.

Nothing comes to mind. Le Quatorze is an excellent small hotel a few hundred meters from the heart of Colmar.

It is a very central location. The staff was very polite and very helpful. Good breakfast. The bed was very comfortable.

There is no parking but dropped out things off at the hotel. Then we went and parked at the Saint Josse parking which is 10mn walk and 3 Euros a day. It worked really well like this.

The apartment 14 was a very nicely equipped modern loft apartment. The two bathrooms on each end fit perfectly with the concept of a single room with multiple beds. The receptionists was extremely helpful and pleasant to talk to. The location is simply perfect to get a head start in sightseeing around Colmar.

The two single beds in the four-people apartment were simply terrible. In some of the corners I could spot long spider webs (but other than that the apartment looked properly clean). The Wi-FI was a bit poor.

The hotel staff had wonderful communication prior to us arriving. I inquired about our small dog (10€/night) and parking (18€/night) at a nearby garage. The staff had the parking card ready when we arrived. There is “loading zone” in front of the hotel. We dropped our luggage off and then parked the car. It was a 2min walk to the hotel from Parking Rapp Garage. We were appreciative of the room upgrade, alittle quirky set up the way the bathtub was right when you entered the room. The room was just enough space for a couple and a small dog. We liked having the balcony. The hotel is in the center, it was truly the best location. The staff members were very kind, a few spoke English. We did not have breakfast, but there are so many cute cafes nearby! We enjoyed our stay even with the tiny issues.

A few of the downfalls that should be noted is the shower drained SO slow, it would flow outside the shower door. The hot water was super tricky, it was either too hot or cold. Last was the Wi-Fi- it was hit or miss, and pretty slow.

Small boutique hotel. Location was excellent, short walk to Petit Venice and numerous restaurants. The room and bathroom was spacious with a surprise large circular bath. Great selection of breakfast foods with delicious fresh orange juice!
