Breakfast was perfect, good choices & prompt service, Room was suitable in size, good facilities, Good size & layout of Bathroom and modern design. Dinner, Good food , but only 'A la carte ' available Friday/Saturday /Sunday. the other days standard menu only. where other hotels or pub restaurants offered both in the area. feel this is important.

The room is is close to the main road & being a narrow road, the sound of traffic is greatly increased. there is no secondary double glazing or Triple glazed Casement windows , which would greatly improve the quietening of traffic noise. Especially when trying to sleep. It is great disappointment, that I have to say this. Because the room is very nice and very suitable for a couple or a couple with children as two bed chairs are in the room too.

Amazing location within 30-40 minutes from the seaside, national parks, waterfalls etc. The stuff was very welcoming and helpful. We had two lovely dinners at the hotel’s restaurant - the food is really nice (breakfast too!). Good variety and quality. Very easy check in/out process with an online option. The room and the inside of the hotel is nice with a bit of old fashion twist (in a good way).

There was some visible rubbish under the bed which wasn’t cleaned before or during our stay and some areas looked a bit dusty. Nothing critical but noticeable.

The food was excellent & the bar well stocked with some nice ciders.

The car park, whilst it was free and plenty of space, access & egress is tough. Having someone who required the easy access room in the courtyard, had they been on their own it clearly wouldn't work. To get from the car park there are 3 flights of very steep stairs and a rubber path across a roof, so not ideal for older guests. Had I looked into the hotel a bit more after my cousin booked a room, unfortunately, I would have had to look elsewhere. Not only did we have someone who needed the easy access room, we had someone with stage 4 lung cancer, and the bedroom was on the 2nd floor. Since booking a room I noticed the lack of a lift on the website, just didn't realise how hard 4 flights of stairs would be.

All the Staff were delightful and went out of their way to help me- taking my bags to my room, talking to me online when I was worried about getting there in a storm, all really helpful when you are pregnant and travelling alone. Lunch and Breakfast was extra special, rooms beautiful and comfortable, big wide bath too. really close to some cute independent shops. Wish I had more time there. Will stay again if I can. Well worth the slightly higher price of hotels I usually stay in for work (£100ish a night as opposed to £50-£75 a night I am budgeted for expenses - I had a voucher that brought it nearer my jobs' expenses range)

nit-picking here- the double bed had separate single mattresses, which are not my favourite as you can get stuck in the middle gap, but I had a good sleep.

Excellent location, spacious room, clean bathroom, really friendly staff. Very good breakfast (in addition to the menu you can find online there’s also a buffet with cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast, jam and pastries). Good options for dinner too, although you do need to book in advance. Some reviews mention that the rooms are too warm - it is true that you can’t adjust the heating but you can simply open the windows if you need fresh air (it wasn’t noisy even though I stayed over Friday and Saturday night).

It was a special occasion and we stayed in the penthouse suite. My husband found it too hot but I was ok. A beautiful suite. Fantastic breakfast. Evening meal was nice if a little basic for a hotel menu.

The hotel didn’t acknowledge this was a special occasion. I wasn’t expecting a gift but maybe a verbal congratulations by ANYONE?? I have never had an occasion passed over by the hotel before. No lift access as mentioned when you book and probably in keeping with the age of the property. When we went into the lounge area the table hadn’t been wiped and had butter on it. We asked for something to clear it with ourselves to be told it had just been wiped and that’s why it was wet. I hadn’t said it was wet just dirty! I wiped it with a newspaper that had been thrown in the floor.

I was upgraded to a delightful room with a four poster bed. I ate my evening meal in the sunny courtyard and the mussels were delicious. The breakfast was lovely, with homemade muesli/granola and local Welsh yoghurt. Good coffee too! Ideal location for exploring Llandeilo and picking up local walking routes. Great secure car park.

The stairs are a bit of a challenge, especially with luggage. I'm not sure if there's a lift so I would check this before booking if you have mobility issues.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Lovely spacious rooms and great bathroom with bath and shower. Lovely Myddfai complimentary toiletries. Rooms were clean and comfortable Great food , breakfast was delicious and plenty of options. The cooked breakfast one of the tastiest I've had in a while . Dinner menu again plenty of choice to meet all tastes. Generous portions and nothing too much trouble if we asked for something different or a smaller portion.

The steps from the private secure car park but there is a loading bay outside main entrance which is handy for luggage and checking in etc

stayed in the hotel apartment annex. It was literally just around the corner from main hotel. Bit of a trek up two flights of stairs but worth it. Spacious living room with large kitchenette. Large bathroom, shower, spotlessly clean. Massive bedroom with comfortable bed.

On two nights around about 2200 hours our guest bat made its appearance in the lounge and proceeded to do extremely rapid circuits of the lounge. It was a bit off putting so we closed the door and left the bat too it. Opened the window hoping it would escape, but there was only a very small gap and it didn’t work on Friday night as he was still there Saturday. I did inform staff at reception and was disappointed to hear it was not the first time this had happened. It would not be that difficult to put up a screen over the two front windows which have restrictive openings in any case.

Stayed last night after the town's car show. The staff were amazing. The reception made checking in easy and also took the time to find me in the evening and complemented me on my display vehicle that was in the car park. 🛻. The restaurant staff were very helpful and efficient. The room and bathroom were large. The bed was comfortable. The car park is secure, (you need a code to get in), but it has a tight left hand turn to get to it, which can be tricky for larger vehicles.
