Rooms were really nice. Spotlessly clean and with lovely views. Property is in a beautiful area. Staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. Excellent service from everyone we came into contact with. Bar had all drinks you would want and food at both evening meals and breakfast was exceptional! All in all, we could not fault the hotel. Thankyou for a very pleasurable stay.

Just a recommendation, could do with more seating inside where you can just enjoy drinks (lounge area). Majority of seating inside is for the restaurant.

I booked the Towy Suite, a spacious and beautifully bright room with plenty of windows. The four-poster bed was luxurious, and I appreciated the comfortable couch, large screen TV, and dining room table that made the suite feel like a home away from home. The bathroom was equally impressive, with a huge shower that added a touch of luxury. Room service was a treat – I received a massive plate of fish and chips paired with a carafe of wine, all of which was delicious. Breakfast the next morning was made-to-order and served in the inn’s dining room, adding a personal touch to the stay. The clientele here is what I would call “respectable,” embodying a refined, traditional Wales charm that enhances the inn’s peaceful, quiet ambiance. The staff’s hospitality was exceptional, and my stay at The Plough Inn was perfect in every way. Highly recommended!

If your room is on ground level you may be able to park right outside the rear patio door, which is great for unloading your bags ( my wife packs for ten days even if your only going for two) Beautiful room and a very good size , great shower with good heat and power , lovely dining room with excellent menu offering wide choices for evening meals. Lovely breakfast with choice including porridge and haddock options. Very well cooked, and a Welsh breakfast option, including Welsh tea

Our twin room was a good size with very comfortable beds, spotless bedding and towels. 3 chairs, 2 wardrobes, large TV and tea/coffee ,kettle etc. . The room overlooked the rear carpark and beautiful views over the river valley. There is access to the car park through French doors. Handy for loading/ unloading luggage. Some rooms are dog friendly. We had a shower over bath. Great breakfast, well cooked and good ingredients, with a lovely choice of food. We enjoyed a very nice evening meal too. The staff , throughout, were very helpful, efficient and friendly. Highly recommend this place. It is very busy offering food and drinks all day. Prebooking is recommended. There are wheelchair accessible rooms throughout, seating both inside and out. Children are very welcome. The Plough offers conference and party facilities, weddings are catered for and it's situation is perfect for anyone wishing to visit the surrounding countryside.

The rooms were generous and modern with a very comfy bed. Bathroom was modern and clean. I liked that we could park outside our room making it easy to take things to our room. The outlook across farmland was lovely. We had our evening meal in the restaurant. Food was amazing and very generous portions. Staff were lovely. We also had a delicious cooked to order breakfast which gave us a good start to the day.

We liked everything about this hotel. We paid extra for the SUPERIOR room, you get an extra sofa bed if needed. The room was of a good size, bathroom as expected, with a shower over the bath. The room was quiet and warm The TV & WiFi were great. The breakfast was EXCELLENT, English & Welsh Breakfast options. The evening restaurant was very enjoyable, but lacking in atmosphere due to its size. The breakfast room had great views across open countryside. This is a very nice hotel, and YES we would rebook as it's so good, an amazing find in such a beautiful location, easy for the ferry ports, shopping and access to the midlands etc.

A walk-in shower would have been nice, but that's about it.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. Bathroom was brilliant, great shower and plenty of room for a family of 4. The staff were very friendly and informative and there was a comprehensive choice for breakfast. Dinner in the restaurant was of a high quality and the staff were attentive. Llandeilo is quite central and accessible to many tourist sights. I would definitely recommend The Plough Inn.

Such a professional dog friendly place. Honestly cannot get over the fact we could enjoy such a high grade room with our pup! We were made to feel so at ease and welcome and it's the first luxury hotel we've ever stayed with our 4 legged fur ball. So grateful! The Staff especially Suzie are incredible at what they do! The ease of access to the room from the car park was brilliant! Just can't rate this hotel enough! Such an enjoyable trip for us and I feel lucky we found it.

Outstanding from the start. A very last minute bookings which was accommodated promptly and every member of staff was helpful and efficient.. The room was large comfortable and clean with the bonus of parking outside the French doors off the room. We had small plate snacks and wine which were delicious. Breakfast was fantastic and overall the stay was positive and great value

The rooms that are dog friendly are great and perfectly located at the back on the ground floor with a patio door to ourselves. The room was beautifully clean with a nice bathroom. We stayed on 24 June. We had a meal at the plough that evening. What a heavenly meal. I am also gluten and lactose intolerant but this was no difficulty for the staff or the kitchen. A wonderful optional menu that made it so I could have nearly everything on the menu. This is a rare thing and I was so impressed with it. There was a big party the night we stayed, or maybe they are always that live and bustling. All staff were so friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble.

There was nothing I didn't like. A great place to stay, dine and have drinks or a party.
