Fonteblu is situated in the heart of the Old town and is only 3-5 min. walk to all best restaurants, cafes, beaches and the view terraces over the sea, still it is a very quiet property. Francesco is an amazing host, taking care of all his guests' needs wholeheartedly - organizing bookings for restaurants, providing a free transfer from the parking (parking is also free) to the property and back on the check-in and check-out days, helping with the luggage and all advice we needed, always friendly, nice and professional. The breakfast is on a cozy terrace overviewing the sea with his mum's fantastic selection of cakes (which she is baking herself) being the ultimate highlight of it. The room was clean and was cleaned every day, the towels were changed everyday as well. Our only regret was that we didn't book a "superior" room as they are larger than the "standard" ones, with proper windows and for longer stays it is a better option. On the whole we had a very pleasant stay.

We had an awesome stay at FonteBlu! The place is super cute, in a perfect location in old town with everything on your door step and the beach just a few mins walk. Breakfast was delicious, probably some of best cake I’ve ever eaten. Not to mention a lovely rooftop for sunset drinks. Francesco was the best host from start to finish, helping us with car parking and getting to and from the accomodation. As well as finding a room for my cousin to join us for one night! Will definitely recommend to friends and will come back next time I’m in the area! Make sure you get a sandwich from Gusto (?)

The rooms are quite small and not much space for your suitcases but you won’t spend much time in there during summer so the location and host more than made up for it :)

Our host, Francesco, was one of the kindest we have met, offering us a lot of useful information, from recommendations on what to visit to where to eat. The guesthouse is in a great location, in the heart of the old town, a city with charming streets and buildings like in fairy tales, which has remained in our hearts. A special mention for the breakfast, offered on the terrace of the building, where in addition to typical products of a continental breakfast we particularly appreciated the tarts made by Francesco's mother, who came with new ones every day. We reserved two nights at FRONTEblu B&B during our stay in Polignano a Mare, and after extensive research, we found it to be the perfect home away from home. It met all our desired criteria: centrally located near the heart of the old town, steps away from the iconic Lama Monachile beach, close to the statue of Placido Domingo, and surrounded by scenic photo spots ideal for capturing the area’s natural beauty and sunsets. From FRONTEblu, it was easy to explore the town’s enchanting maze of narrow whitewashed alleys, small piazzas, and historic buildings perched dramatically above the Adriatic Sea. As an added bonus, the B&B features an open rooftop terrace—a peaceful spot to enjoy the sea breeze. Our host, Francesco, a courteous and capable young man, reached out before our arrival to guide us on parking outside the restricted traffic zone of the old town. He arranged for a golf cart to bring us directly to FRONTEblu. Francesco personally met us at the drop-off point, warmly welcomed us, and helped carry our luggage during a short walk and up the stairs to the second-floor apartment. He took time to thoroughly explain everything we needed to know about the accommodation and the area, offering excellent local tips and recommendations for sights and restaurants. His hospitality immediately made us feel at home. After a fulfilling first day exploring all we had hoped for, we were treated to a delightful breakfast the next morning, lovingly prepared by Francesco’s mother. A gracious woman with remarkable culinary and artistic talent, she served pastries and cakes that stood out for their textures, flavors, and presentation—evoking memories of the famed Demel café in Vienna. We’re truly grateful to Francesco for his warm hospitality and attentive care, and to his wonderful mother for the delicious, beautifully prepared breakfast. Together, they made our experience at FRONTEblu feel not just like a stay, but a cherished memory.

Francesco what an amazing host he went out of his way to make our stay the best.His roof top private bar for drinks and breakfast was just what you needed after fighting the crowds during the day. The breakfast's with Francisco's mum's cakes and sweets were a bonus with the views from the rooftop. Parking was easy in parking lot by the station for free and picked up by a golf cart organised and paid for by Francesco. The room was very comfortable for our stay. The accomodation was very nice, very well kept, looked like "new" and it is in an excellent location, right in the old town. The owner Francesco takes an excellent care for you and really makes you feel comfortable, also arranged my pick up from the station. There is a rooftop terrace for breakfast and evening drinks, with a nice sunset view. The breakfast was the best I had in Italy, including a good variety of home made very tasty cakes, usual egg, salami, cheese and also fruits! There was no window in my room, but the ventilation and the air-condition worked perfectly And as typical for small Italian towns, be aware of stairs! 😁

The breakfast at FONTEblu was exceptional! Francesco's mum made all the amazing home-made cakes, and they were delicious! A traditional Italian breakfast with fresh meats, cheeses, eggs, breads. And Francesco made us coffee as well. We were very spoilt! The location was fabulous, and the roof top deck was amazing to sit and have breakfast, or to have a cocktail and watch the sunset. It had such a beautiful view of the ocean! We would definitely recommend staying at FONTEblu.

This cute B&B is located in the heart of Polignano’s old town. The location is perfect, close to all the amenities. Francesco, owner and host, is extremely kind, helpful and accommodating! We loved the terrace with sea view, the sunset aperitivo, the amazing breakfast prepared by Francesco’s lovely mother. Francesco also organised our pick up and drop back at the (free!) parking spot, completely for free, and gave us advice for where to go in the town. Room was nice and clean. Maybe a bit small, but for a short stay it’s not a problem. The great location and the amazing host would make us come back again for another holiday!

Lacking of some privacy is the only downside we found in the place. The acoustic insulation of the rooms is bad and during the night you can hear your neighbours snoring as if they were sleeping in your own room.

We loved the home made breakfast and the terrace which allowed us to see the new year's fireworks. Great location with parking very close to the main square and attractions of the city. The host was super available and friendly.

The bathroom is basically in the room. Both the WC and the shower are in the room enclosed (separately) by a glass box. The sink is right in front of the bed, not enclosed. Spaces were super optimized but tight.
