Very charming small hotel in a calm village. The rooms we stayed were not very big, but still suitable and clean. It is next to the square, free parking and all restaurants nearby. The breakfast was home made and nice. The owner and staff were nice and friendly, as all the people in the village.

The fridge was not cool enough and not a strong wi-fi connection in the rooms.

Lovely hotel in a typical Sicilian village up the hills. Stunning views from the terrace and (some) rooms. The staff was nice and helpful with information about restaurants and local amenities. Breakfast was great with some amazing home mad cakes.

It's quite a hike on a winding road to reach Castiglione but is worthy. We needed to park offsite in an adjacent little square. The owner assisted with the parking so was sorted out quickly (and for free)

An exceptional hotel. Our room was spacious with a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was very clean as was the whole hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was substantial with many options. We strongly recommend staying here.

Castiglione di Sicilia has a small but attractive historic centre but the rest of the town is rather run down. Our expectations of a very pretty village were not really met!

Easy parking in the piazza nearby. Amazing breakfast - especially the coconut cake!!! I loved the terrace overlooking the internal part of Centro Storico. Btw: Castiglione di Sicilia holds the title of the 'BORGO PIÙ BELLO D'ITALIA' amongst many other on the map if Italy!

Huge thank you to the guy in reception. He was extremely helpful and he answered all our questions. We did appreciate his recommendations for parking in Taormina. The room itself was large and clean and the bathroom likewise. We liked the breakfast - the choice was fantastic.

We stayed at the Federico for 1 night in between Etna and godfather tours. Value for money was exceptional and our host could not have been more friendly or accommodating. Breakfast starts at 8 but we needed to leave by that time so she opened breakfast up at 7.30 just for us. Exceptional service!!! The location is right in the centre of a medieval town with very narrow streets and we were sent instructions in the day how to avoid the narrowest (not that I managed it as I got lost). Overall a really unexpected, tremendous value gem in a fab location.

We loved our room, first of all. It was a large, sunlit, quiet room. The bed was extremely comfortable with a very good-quality mattress. It had adequate storage facilities and free bottled water. Above all, the room was spotlessly clean and housekeeping were superb. The town itself is a gem and very close to the main sites in the area. The staff, all of them, were amazingly and genuinely nice. It shows they really care for their guests. The breakfast was superb and it had both cold and hot food. If you go there in your ċar, there is on-street parking nearby. Follow the directions given to you by the hotel.

It was a beautiful hotel in a quiet little town. It was a little hard to find at first but it's such a great place. Owner was super friendly, he came out to welcome us when we needed a little help finding the hotel.

It was a wonderful stay at a beautiful hotel. It is very classic and comfortable. The rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are very well equipped. The decor is very relaxing and the location is to die for. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the lady concierge but she was lovely! The breakfast was very complete/delicious and the service is very kind. The parking in Castiglione is limited but we were contacted beforehand with very useful recommendations. A real 10/10!

I loved this authentic medieval property and its wonderful charm. The best of all is the staff, the landlord is a fantastic guy who helped us so much when the car went out of order. I can never thank him enough. The hotel is just amazing, one of the best I have enjoyed
