Everything was very well thought through from the lovely room and perfect bathroom to the log fires on chilly mornings in the breakfast spaces to the real candles and plants/flowers on the terraces and tables Great place to relax and chill.

The food - chefs surprise- 4 courses was very disappointing. We wonder if he had ran out of product after a monster sunny Sunday lunch. No flavour- meat not heated through - no green or herbs. Lunch the next day was equally disappointing. Breakfast was wonderful though. We lunched and dined in town after that.

It’s a very unique place that feels very special and boutique. The food is really amazing as well as the service: we ate breakfast (included), lunch (soup and salad) and dinner (fish, potatoes and salad), also drinks were amazing (great creative selection of non alcoholic cocktails + kambucha). The staff was very friendly and found us a table in the restaurant for lunch and dinner with almost no waiting time. The location is unique to say at least - you have a great 5km hiking trail across the road and 13 min walking to the entrance to the park with bikes. The place is surrounded by nature - you can hear birds and horses. Everything was clean and cozy. The fire places in the common areas and in the restaurant in addition to the bonfires outside create unique atmosphere. The design, details, nature - everything is there to enjoy and disconnect.

We stayed in the room 2 and it’s very much exposed to everything that is going on in the restaurant area. It’s not a problem from 11 pm to 8 am so we slept well, but during the day you will not be able to sleep/rest if you are even a bit sensitive to noise/music. We will definitely come back but to another room (2nd floor or cabin most probably). As in other reviews - tea was missing in the room or common areas. It would be great to have it available at all times. The restaurant and veranda are dog friendly but the rooms aren’t 🙁 for my family it means that it will be much more difficult to come back as we can’t come with our furry friend.

The hotel is amazing. Really great room with amazing shower and bed. Bikes for renting are very good. Food in the restaurant is great and well served. Cozy living room to hang out, read, drink a coffee and relax. The staff was great. Reception was good. Great location, in a quit place with nature and still in a walking distance from the village. Perfectly situated close to the park. Reachable by train and bus, good for the ones without car. We were able to relax, enjoy nature and good food. Amazing holidays!

The food in the breakfast is amazing, but there was no consistency. Each day the scramble eggs were made in a different manner. But really… just details… What we really did not like is that we had to leave lol ;D

Everything! The location was perfect, within walking distance to the De Hoge Veluwe national park and right next to other walking trails. The room was very comfortable and I had my own little courtyard to the outside bush and the sound of birdsong. The common areas are well appointed. Breakfast was included and is of great quality! The granola is housemade and delicious. The breads are fresh and croissants flaky. I had dinner in house too, and even if some of the flavours are new to me, everything was delicious! The staff were lovely, friendly and efficient. This is certainly a place on my “come back to” list.

Only problem with the rooms on ground floor is you can hear the footfall of the people upstairs. May be a problem if you are a light sleeper or tend to sleep in.

Fantastic little property: cabins and cottages are in the wooded area and quite private. The breakfast was small but delicious, and the staff is the most welcoming we experienced in the Netherlands. The Cabin was well equipped, the bed is comfortable and we really appreciated the outside seated area. It is even possible to light up a fireplace - must be really cosy in colder months.

The only small downside is the hot water may run out during a long shower (or for 2nd person taking a shower). We adjusted a bit and it was fine the 2nd day.

Very romantic and peaceful location. Love the outdoor seating with firepits. Great wine options and food was good. Staff is very welcoming and friendly.

This is my second time here and we opted for a cabin this time, hoping for less noise with children. Our dinner was quite awful because of the children literally running all over. We will not be returning, unfortunately. This place is like the Great Wolf Lodge in America minus the swimming pool.. So, if you are looking for a romantic dinner location it is not here. Breakfast was the same situation.... Really surprised they allow what they do with children literally RUNNING, coming up to your table and standing, while other couples are trying to have a pleasant evening. The entilement of the parents allowing this while they enjoy their evenings is astounding.

The staff is young and lovely, the decoration and atmosphere are rustic-chic, beautiful and cosy, breakfast is delicious, toiletry products are from a great vegan brand, and location is just fabulous. location is fabulous,

My room was on the ground floor so a little noisy especially in the weekend, but at least after ~9 pm quietness was fully back. As a suggestion - it would be nice to have coffee and tea in the room.

It is our second time visiting and it is pretty much perfect! The little cottage is private and comfortable, the bath is a nice touch after a long day of hiking in Veluwe. The breakfast and dinner are both great quality, and the hosting team is incredibly helpful. Thank you and we will be back in 2025!

I missed a kettle in our cottage to make a cup of tea in the evening - but it is not listed in the room amenities so no misleading info there.

We loved our stay here! Amazing atmosphere. Arrived took the lodge and immediately felt relaxed. The decor was very thoughtful, there was nice music playing, and the place smelled amazing. The room was cozy with a private terrace. Enjoyed watching the stars by the wood fire at night. It’s lodged in the forest and felt very peaceful. We visited to celebrate our birthdays and the hotel staff surprised us with cake :) We only stayed for one night and came home feeling rested as if we had been on holiday for several days.

It would be even better to a few more vegan food options on the menu, especially for breakfast.

Perfect location in the National Park and easy to find. Building was well furnished with simple, attractive, comfortable seating and dining arrangements, loved the various terraces for use overlooking the park. Bedroom was adequately furnished with superb en-suite bathroom and separate toilet. Great outside private balcony. General ambience was very relaxing.

Nothing at all, we loved it.
