I went to this hotel because it had an electric car charger. I was disappointed that the Tesla charger was set at “Tesla only”. My EV is not a Tesla. When I explained that (and how/who by) this could de easily fixed, the manager wasn’t interested enough to even note the information. I won’t be back, nor will I be recommending this hotel to others.

Good location in the town, close to airport, restaurants and shops. We were able to park at the motel and walk easily around the town. The manager Dan was extremely friendly and helpful. He gave us lots of information about the area as well. The motel is a older, and could use some more updates. But everything was clean, well maintained, and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the clean pool and laundry facilities while we were there. We would stay there again.

Only that it could use some updates and minor repairs. The on-site restaurant was closed. Seems they are still recovering from the pandemic.

Staff is very friendly and helpful! Good size room, aircon that can also heat the room, small fridge. Room services are cleaning rooms every day. Plenty of places to sit outside as well. Parking spots seemed generous but orderly (i was travelling without a car). Plenty of hot water as well. Close to Uncles Pub and Woolies and Coles. Safe and nice place to stay.

Could never figure out how to get in after hours, thanks God there was always someone else trying to get in every time. Please, give people better instructions on which gate to open and how. I failed this test twice!!

It was a great location and we could walk to anywhere we wanted. The staff were great – very friendly and responsive. The room was cleaned every day. The swimming pool looked really nice, but unfortunately we never found time to go swimming.

We weren’t able to use the wardrobe as it needed fixing. It was not a problem for us and we mentioned this to the management when we were leaving. I am confident they will sort out the problem.

I was particularly stuck with the pleasant helpful staff. As I had to stay there due to an accident to my caravan I had to stay at Elkira for 3 days which extended to 4. I had food from the van to use up or let go to waste. They warmed a meal in the kitchen microwave. Had the use of bbq in swimming pool area. My stay, although very stressful was made more pleasant by the staff. Thank you!

It's not the flashest looking hotel and the car parking area is a bit squeezy but because of it's excellent central location you could walk to shopping centres etc.

A functional room which was good value (at this time of year anyway). The motel was able to facilitate an extra night (without having to change rooms) when I arrived a day earlier than originally planned at short notice. Car park is secure which counts for a bit here (at the moment, anyway).

The central location is good in some ways, but downtown Alice essentially shuts down after 7pm at present so evening food options within walking distance are limited. The main car park does not have enough spaces for the number of rooms, although an overflow is available.

Always find the room in a exceptional state, always clean and very presentable and love the way I have stayed in the same room now in my last 3 visits, I really like it

Would really love a microwave in the room It would make the stay a little more pleasant to be able to reheat food instead of having to go out later in the evening.

Room very clean and the location is excellent as you can walk to the centre of town. Taxis are hard to come by. Restaurant hasn't opened since covid and they have no current plans to open it.It closes at 7pm, like many places in Alice and these three things combined mean you don't have a chance to have a relaxing night out.

Walls between rooms are very thin and combined with cars coming and going means it could be noisy.

Location was great for walking to shops, supermarket, cafes etc. LIked the size of the room and the balcony with table/chairs. Staff were friendly and efficient. Room and surrounds very clean. Good sixed bathroom. Staff serviced room every day.

THe hedge that is near the second entrance should be trimmed back so that you can see cars coming towards Stott Terrace.I thought this was dangerous.

The location was good. The air conditioning - much needed since it was about 40 C while we were there - worked very well. It was a ground floor room so no stairs to climb. The swimming pool was well maintained and big enough to enjoy. Staff were very friendly. The photograph shows the hotel location - very center of the picture - and the town viewed from "Goat Hill".

The restaurant area wasn't in operation - maybe business has been slow recently.
