Staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and neat with exceptions noted below. Check in was super quick and easy.

Linens had not been changed on pull out sofa and extra pillows were not provided for it either. Location was very loud with traffic all night. The door had gaps all around, which contributed to noise. Parking was extremely limited and tight for our truck.

Pleasantly surprised in how clean and tidy the property was - you can see there was a renovation recently and it’s great! The location is just a few blocks from the beach and the around the corner from the freeway. For a budget location, it’s clean and convenient - I highly recommend.

The front desk staff were not very friendly. They barely smiled and seemed bothered to have to come in the front to service the desk (I think it’s a family who lives behind the counter) However, the cleaning staff was friendly when I saw them around and they did a great job at tidying up each day

The place was good. The area is very expensive, this was the cheapest I could find where I was willing to chance no major issues. And there were no major issues. And it ended up being good for a week's stay. I would recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay with no frills, but is cheaper than the average room in the area.

Perfect location with easy access to downtown, near coffee, restaurants, bars. Very comfortable bed. Room was exceptionally quiet. I like that I could open the window. Very friendly and helpful staff. One of the cleanest hotels rooms I've booked. Large mini fridge.

As with most hotel rooms, lighting was inadequate, especially at the sink. Better, more comfortable furniture would be nice. The desk in room 105 was in a most inconvenient locations. Would be better by the window. Could not get the microwave clock to stop flashing.

The room was comfortable and had some upgrades to it. As a whole the room was great. It would be nice to have a better set up for coffee, snacks, etc in the morning then the small office lobby. Otherwise, was a good value.

Just front office coffee food setup . Just seemed not inviting and kind of half ass effort. It would be nicer to have a legit space or community space.

This is my first stay at this Oceanside hotel, having stayed at most of the other local options over the years. I was very happy with my stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. The room was serviced every day and had all advertised amenities. I would certainly stay here again.

The deposit was handled in a strange way, meaning it took well over a week to be returned.

Super 8 stated they had breakfast . I wish they would be more specific what breakfast items they provided.

Property was hard to access. Very confusing. But it’s a nice hotel. Clean & close to a lot of shopping & restaurants. Beach is nearby also.

Very friendly staff. She got us into our room quickly after a long day at a tournament. The room was much larger than expected, and you could tell that the room had recently been renovated.

The only downside to our stay, the tv would turn on, but the satellite box wasn't even plugged into the tv. It got us out of our room and down to the beach, so it wasn't horrible to not have.

Big rooms very nice rooms. Check in was quick easy and they was very friendly. Short walk to the beach and all the shops and food places other square.

Shower door wouldn't stay shut and that I requested a down stairs room and got upstairs. Husband has bad leg so ot was hard for him to get up and down the small uneven steps. They said if something came available downstairs they would move us but never did.

This is our third or fourth time staying at this Lodge so obviously we like it. My wife has some ambulatory issues and the Staff is always very accommodating and helpful, so we get the best room possible.

I would add facial tissues in the bathroom.
