This is great hotel for the location. Very close to the Haram. Rooms are clean and tidy, ours was small but we only used it for sleeping. The staff are polite and courteous. Plenty of working lifts. The most important thing for us was how easily we could get to and from the hotel, especially after each Salaat.

We had booked two rooms, one for the children and one for us, but they couldn't be next to each which was a downside. The children were about 7 doors/rooms away, luckily mine are grown up so not too much of an issue. The other concern is that vehicles are not allowed near the hotel, you will most likely be dropped off in the "tunnel" under the clock tower (referred to as the -2 Floor). You will need to come up to your hotel, if you have a lot of luggage then you can get the bellboy to collect the luggage from the tunnel. They are very good.

Taxi can’t drop or pick up near to hotel - so be prepared to walk 5-7mins. This maybe an issue for those with mobility issues. Room size is small for a family suite - this didn’t bother us too much as our main intention was to spend as much time in the mosque; but maybe an issue for some. No dinner buffet option

lift are always quick even during ramadhan. Staff always quick to attend to our need s in the room such as shower not strong, they change whats needed. Safety box couldnt open , they came withing minutes. Always topup whatever we need daily - towels, coffee, rubbish taken out, vacumm. location is so near to Haram. You go down the lift , out the door and you see Haram. Unlike some clock tower hotels when you need to go through several lifts, bypass some shops , walk a long way before getting out the front door to get to Haram.

Nothing. But if the carpet, sofas, curtains can be of updated version it would be perfect . I've been here twice and In shaa Allah will stay here again.

Location: Awesome - 4-5 min walk from Gate 88/89 (women)) and 91 (men/both). Easily accessible for salat. If you are in ihram, go to King Abdul Aziz gate (next to 91) and you will go straight to mataf (if the authorities have it open otherwise you are on the 1st level) Room: very good size. We had 3 people and after organizing our luggage, there was enough room to walk. Closet space is big as well as shelf space. We had twin beds and they were comfortable. Maybe one negative would be there should be USB cables next to bed on the side drawers ?

Not much to say here. The first day the water wasn't as hot as I'd like but it had become fine in subsequent days. Can't really think of anything negative.

The location was perfect, you step out of the hotel, and you are in Haram mashaAllah. The hotel was clean and beautiful. Mohammad Didar from housekeeping was very helping and supporting staff.

Concierge staff was not good, they were giving service at their own will, i could see that the bell boys were helping some customers to the bus point or taxi availability place with the luggage but to some like me they just showed me my luggage and asked to grab it myself.

The location is good for old people... near haram

The access for parking while check in is not good... there is too much rush...

Background: 2 guests staying in Makkah for 7 nights in February 2025. Room: were given Room 101 which was admittedly on the side with not much free floor space. Bed and pillows were comfortable and importantly it was clean. Decor seems a bit dated though but I can live with that Location: amazing. Based on Al Misial street which only a minutes walk to the Haram. Very close to the important amenities useful for any traveller - variety of food, pharmacies. Had previously stayed at a hotel on Ibrahim Al Khalil road and much prefer this as there's not too much hustle and bustle Service: 10/10. Every staff member from the lobby to the restaurant to the cleaners were all so friendly. Especially thank you to the room cleaner on Floor 1 - Mohammed Imran. Very friendly and professional service Value - not the cheapest but I'd say best value. Would much prefer staying here to a more luxurious hotel

Decor is a bit dated

hotel is not part of bigger complex like clock tower. so in and out of hotel is super convenient. Access to Masjjid was very easy and smooth.

room size for 4 bed was smaller then other hotels I have stayed in the area like MovenPick, Zamzam, royal darul eiman. Bathroom was small and uncomfortable as well. access to hotel is not direct. you can't bring car or taxi to the door. there is road 300 feet from the door but no parking spot. very difficult to stop in the middle of the road to drop off with luggage. most of the time that road access is blocked as well. so basically you may have to carry luggage through either Masjid courtyard or through the main street. it can be upto 15 to 20 minutes walk.

Our stay at Elaf Kinda for our Umrah was excellent, as soon as you step out of the hotel to your right is the Haram Sharif mosque. All amenities and facilities are nearby such as shopping, food , supermarket so it’s very convenient but it’s also a very comfortable stay. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is exemplary, the room was exceptional and the breakfast and room service options are superb. I hope to stay again at Elaf kinda for my future visits.

Due to where the hotel is situated it’s not on a road cars can drive up to therefore if you’re travelling to the hotel by car then you’re dropped off on a road over from the hotel but it’s only a few minute walk to the hotel entrance, it’s not a problem just a minor inconvenience.

I had a wonderful stay at Elaf Kinda, which is very conveniently located close to the Haram. Although the hotel’s decor peaked in the 90s and isn’t very modern, the cleanliness and location of the hotel was excellent, and the staff were truly awesome throughout my visit. The elevators were not as challenging as other hotels, so there is this consideration too. I also want to highlight the excellent housekeeping service provided by Mohammad Hossain on the 4th floor — he went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His dedication and kindness really made a difference in my stay at Elaf, accommodating my varying housekeeping needs and worked to solve the challenges I experienced in my room.
