The location is considered close to Al Masjid Al Haram. The house keeping staff name Ashraf was very helpful dan cooperative.

Public transport could not reach the hotel

We stayed at Saif Al Majd Hotel in December 2024, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is located approximately a 15-minute walk from the Haram. While the direct tunnel near the hotel was unfortunately closed due to maintenance, the alternate route was manageable and well-signposted. We were accommodated in rooms 234 and 247, which were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. A special mention goes to the room service team, particularly Ridwan and Akram, whose service was exceptional. They were extremely professional, attentive to our needs, and ensured our stay was smooth and comfortable. This hotel offers good value for its location and services, and we would definitely recommend it to others.

Our coach/taxi wasn't allowed to come to close near the hotel reception which meant that we had to carry our luggage from the top of the hill (Coach couldn't go further then this) to the bottom of the hill where the hotel entrance was located. This caused unnecessary discomfort, none of the golf carts seemed to offer any help.

A Truly Memorable Stay at The Saif Al Majid Hotel I recently spent 4 nights before and after that two night at The Hotel during a city break, and the experience exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was smooth, and the friendly Housekeeping staff made me feel welcome and well cared for. The Room and Amenities: My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully with a modern touch. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the stunning view of the hotel. The hotel boasts an excellent range of amenities, tea coffee kettle water.

Overall hotel room was very clean. Bathroom glass door was the wrong size so.water would come out a little. The shower flow was so so. Probably needed a shower head replacement. Other than that room.was very clean. 4 single beds in a medium.sized room. Floor carpet and bedding was very clean. Hard to reach the front of thw hotel on car. There is some parking space but most dorivers may not know how to get to it specially on a Friday late morning since most roads were closed and there is no main road directly in front of the entrance, but it was about 30 meters slope from jawharet alMajd hotel uilding that is next to it and has a small parking area to load/unload next to.amain road. I believe service road next to umar al.Khattab road where guards will let you in . Or approx 50 meters from Ibrahim Khlaeel road. This may be an issue if you are one person with multiple suit cases. I had 3. Was able.to manage with the help.of driver Very convenient about 12 mins to Haram as the tunnel to the clock tower is almost next to the hotel. Rest is the walk under the Clock Tower. Leading to stairs and escalator to the haram. I was allowed to.check in.approx 11:30 AM. No extra charge. Credit card accepted but I saw them having issues with approvals. Cash is a safer option. A lot of elevatorss. butcould.add.10/15 mins.wait after Jummuah or other peak times. Over.al

Shower door and shower head needed repair/ update

Just 10 minutes walk to Kabba through tunnel. Even if you are tired but waqt salat started at Haram then you can easily join the jamat from your room or at the prayer hall at PR level. The Hotel itself has restaurant facilities at R level which is tasty and cheap. Also has other restaurants which are 5 minutes walk towards Ibrahim Khalil Road.

Reception lady has very little know how about her job. We were soooo tried upon arrival but had to wait morethan an hour to check in. We lucky that one gentleman came and done the job within 5 minutes. Later I also asked the same lady that we have kattle but no cup in the room. She replied, "We don't provide cups. " which is funny, what should we do with the kattle.

There is a new walking tunnel just by the side of the hotel, it takes you to the edge of the Haram boundary, walk under the Clock Tower and take the 1st entrance into Makkah Tower on your left, you are on minus-2 level, take one of the 20 lifts to Al-Haram (0) level and within a few yards you are at the doors of Clock Tower facing Haram. It's roughly 10 minutes easy walk. Public Toilets outside Haram are usually not very clean, someone told me and we often used toilets on 3rd floor of a small tower between Clock Tower and Hilton Towers, right opposite Haram, it has KFC on the corner, and a Money exchange inside has good rates compared to others, these toilets are mostly used by the shopkeepers and are very clean. Food is great around, we loved Al-Tazish, Al-Baig and further down the road there are many Asian restaurants. You have to judge for yourself if the food is fresh. As a whole no complaints about the Hotel, it's worth the money you pay, book with the reception your check out time a bell boy to take your luggage. Do not forget to take only a small bottle in your small backpack to fill up Zam-Zam for night, drink as much Zum-Zam as you can. Enjoy and remember me in your prayers. JAK.

Good for purpose

Overall it was good experience plenty of lifts you don’t have to wait long.

The hotel is not very far from Haram and the way to haram is easier for wheelchair access as well. Hotel has good food available at restaurant at a reasonable price. I could say value for Money, though the rooms are not great but for the pricing the hotel is good and service is also good.

Location was good..10-15min to the Haram..bit of a hill on approach to hotel..comfortable beds and everything was in good working order (shower etc)..room service as good too..knocked on door to ask if anything was required daily..overall good value for money.. plenty of lifts and all working..will def stay again.

It was really a top notch, stayed 3 nights at their different property but this was really great. Near to Haram, neat and tidy, friendly staff especially Mohannad Ahmad at reception. Huge lift lobby, good ambience, spacious area for prayers and multiple options to eat. A value for money for budget pilgrims.

Its hard to make calls and use mobile Internet due poor signals.
