The staff was patient, professional and respectful. The reservation was changed to one room, which meant we didn't need them to be close together. Upon arrival November 8, 2024, around 11pm the card I used experienced a problem. The front desk person was kind enough to try it a few different times. She explained why it may not take at first. Then I realized that I needed to check the account. I stepped away to do so. Following that I returned to the desk asking if she could charge two nights on it instead of three and if the last night could be paid later. She said yes, and we proceeded. After she assigned the room I went to check it. It had an odor and I returned to the front desk. This time a man assisted me and I asked if our room could be switched, explaining why. He apologized, checked to see what was available and made the switch. I checked that room and it was fine. On November 9, 2024, we made the last payment and got a receipt for it. On November 10, 2024, it came to our attention that the payment made the day before wasn't applied in some manner. After three different employees knocked on the door I decided to contact the front desk to see what the issue was. The front desk person checked and said he couldn't find the payment for the last night. He requested that I come to the desk to see about this matter. Upon arriving there he said that they were able to check further after the call and found where the issue was. He apologized and explained that there was something that they failed to do. The matter was now cleared up. He replaced the room keys with working ones. I thanked him for checking and proceeded to the room. I also reported problems on November 10 and 11 with a running toilet and leaking, unused dish washer. Each time the front desk person was polite, submitted the work order and thanked me for doing so. The staff also supplied linen as requested.

I didn't like that there was an odor in the first room. It would also be better if there were additional lights in the front of the building. I noticed two were attached to the building but they were out. It's possible that the repairman hadn't made it yet. Having a well lit area adds to the safety of the property.

Lobby was clean and staff was professional and made it feel like home away from home. Front desk was amazing , I left some items behind and they made sure to locate my items and even took them to the post office for me for them to be sent back. Special shoutout to them! Rooms were clean and the setup was perfect.

Staff was excellent. Zamireh constantly checked on us from the beginning to the end of our stay. Very friendly and professional

The only thing I did not like is property was not on the base but was advertised as being on the base.

I like that we have our own kitchen and utensils. I also liked that they have a bathtub and pool.

When I first got in my first room, there was a leak from the bathroom to outside.

It was very nice and accommodating, I loved the little amenities in the rooms and the kitchenette.

There were no breakfast at this location. Overall the location was great, although when I made reservations I specifically asked for candlewood suites on base where my son was graduating. I was very disappointed with that due to bookings.com

I didn’t like the fact that I didn’t get what I asked for. I was not informed that there were 2 candlewood suites in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. When I made reservations I asked if the hotel was on base and that’s where I expected to stay! My son was graduating from boot camp and I let that be known when I booked the rooms. I was very disappointed with that . I didn’t expect to drive that far. I thought I would be staying on base.

We were in town for a baseball tournament. Only stayed one night, got in late and left early but the location, hotel, and staff were great! Room was clean, spacious and beds were comfortable.

Didn't have breakfast, however your coffee sucks! It had no coffee taste at all and the smell of it and taste of it just tasted like slight coffee with no taste at All.

The coffee and that's crutch of it to me. It needs to be more robust.
