My husband & I booked here for a few days away & we loved every minute of it. Lovely quaint little pub, friendly staff & locals. The log burning fire was lovely! We had fish & chips one evening and we were very impressed, very reasonably priced. We stayed in the sea view room, we liked it that much we booked another night. Room was very clean & modern and bed was comfortable. we will definitely be staying here again. Great location to go & explore west Cornwall. Really enjoyed our stay & we would like to thank all at the Victoria inn for making us feel welcome.

A fine country pub tucked away in a tiny village on the Cornish coast a few miles from Penzance. Our room was a decent size, simply furnished, spotlessly clean. In fact, the whole place was spotlessly clean, even the bar-room lovingly dusted. But the best thing about this place is the cooking. Breakfast was good and their steak dinner -- two plump steaks and a bottle of wine for £40 -- was first rate. They get their meat from Penzance's best butcher, and it shows.
To come to this part of Cornwall in winter, you have to like bleak.

We booked the cosy double room & it was perfect for us. Lovely comfortable bed, spotlessly clean with great en-suite. The evening meal was absolutely amazing, so delicious - worth the hour wait. The bar man did a fantastic job at managing the bar & serving food by himself, all done with a smile. Very impressive! We were served breakfast by a lovely lady. We had the avocado, scrambled eggs, mushrooms & tomato on toast. Again it was delicious & we didn’t eat all day. Thank you to all you lovely staff at the Victoria Inn for making our stay so perfect.

The Victoria Inn is a nice old friendly pub in the coastal village of Perranuthnoe, down a lane off the main road, and perfectly located for the coast path and sandy beach (at low tide, there's no beach at high tide!). There are two cafes in the village and the pub, which is very much the heart of the community. We stayed for three nights to give us two full days walking on the coast path (Porthleven to Perranuthnoe, and Perranuthnoe to Mousehole). The staff were really genuinely friendly and helpful. The food was really very good (AA rosettes), and we ate there every night trying different things. The menu is replaced by all-day roasts on Sunday. The pub has tables outside across the road if its sunny and a very cosy bar area (low ceilings, beams) and dining room (slightly more spacious) next door. The menu changes daily and was really good, much better than your typical pub). Our room was comfortable and very quiet considering it was directly above the restaurant, so they've done a very good job with soundproofing. There was the usual tea and coffee plus a plunger with fresh ground coffee, TV with Freeview, toiletries in the bathroom, lovely fluffy towels, and so on. The village is quiet and peaceful, and it's just a 2 mile walk on the coast path to Marazion for St Michael's Mount, or a few miles in the other direction to Praa Sands (pronounced 'Pray Sands', as they told us) for a much bigger beach. It's the perfect base for a walking weekend with the bonus of excellent food at the Victoria Inn itself and don't miss the Werroe (Praa Sands) and the Tolcarne Inn (Newlyn) as well.
The bed moved away from the wall when sitting up :)

Located in a beautiful village where coastal walks are very easily accessible, this cozy inn was perfect for a short trip. The room was nice and warm with lovely bright decor. Food was also great when we had dinner. The included breakfast was lovely and generous.
It is an old building with a pub operating downstairs so it can be a bit nosy. The shower pressure was not super strong and water temperature didn’t get quite hot enough for me but the warm room made up for all of that.

Great location in the village with good access to the beach and coastal path. Ideal for visiting the local area too, especially Marazion and Penzance. My husband had the full vegetarian breakfast and said it was fantastic! Everything we needed was provided in the bedrooms, including proper ground coffee!
Stairs were very steep for my elderly Mum but she managed. Otherwise it was just what we needed for our overnight stay.

I loved the location of this property, great to explore south Cornwall. The hotel staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The room was small, but comfortable, clean and great value for money. The breakfast was lovely and freshly made. The local beach was within easy walking distance. The building was old and full of character.
Although the meals were of excellent quality, they were a little pricey.

All the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially the breakfast team. They were able to book me in for dinner even though the restaurant was very busy. The food was amazing at the restaurant and they had some nice ales in the bar. Any noise that you hear from outside the bar stops promptly when it closes at 10pm. It was just a very pleasant stay, made so much better by all of the staff , I interacted with 5 of the team across my 2 night stay and they were all really friendly and hospitable. In the room, I really appreciated the French press and enough ground coffee for me to make plenty of coffee across my stay! I was able to walk down to the sea (less than 5 mins) each morning for a swim before breakfast. As a solo traveller the room size worked for me, it is small but that cannot be changed! They are well laid out and have everything you need and are very modern, clearly re-decorated recently.

A beautiful old hotel, so quaint and very cosy. We loved the restaurant downstairs where we were lucky to get a booking. However we could only get a table for 8:15pm but the staff were very obliging in going out of their way to get us an earlier table if they could, and they did. Food was outstanding, really delicious and the servings were generous so we were very impressed especially as I have a big appetite! The young girls (staff) were so friendly, efficient and professional. If you stay there make sure you book dinner at the hotel because (apart from it being amazing) there isn’t anything else around so you would have to drive somewhere. Breakfast choice was great and as I don’t eat dairy, it was very nice to get a vegan choice for breakfast. They were also very accommodating to tweak my dinner so that it could be dairy free.
Nothing to dislike ….our room was very small but we knew that beforehand. So it was a challenge finding somewhere to open our suitcase. Bathroom is clean and tastefully decorated but also very small. Shower wasn’t huge either. The property is very old so the floorboards creaked and we could hear the people next door walking around their room (which was very loud and we could hear them quite loud in the hall too) so we were very aware of not making too much noise. But it’s part of the charm staying somewhere so old and it wasn’t an issue at all. There’s no fridge in the room so I had to get them to put something in the fridge for me which was no problem.

The Victoria Inn is a very quaint old property - it has been beautifully updated and the facilities are all very comfortable. The menu is interesting, the breakfasts delicious! It is a very popular dining location for the locals so that is always reassuring. It’s extremely quiet after 10pm when closed so a relaxing and beautiful location, close to a delightful beach with a great cafe!
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like but one piece of feedback would be on “Seasonal Vegetables” offered on the menu as it transpired to be just one offering on both nights of our stay of broccoli, nicely cooked and presented but we were expecting a good selection with our delicious meals.
