The staff were helpful and friendly. Having a pool was great, location is 2 minutes walk from beach and shops. Rooms were all in all good.

The rooms could really do with mosquitoes net. The curtains are very thick and don't let air through and you can't onpen the windows wide with the curtains. Could really have a kettle in each room as standard, we had to ask especially and then got just one to share between two rooms. Breakfast is good but other food they serve is frozen supermarket dish that was microwaved.

Great location, large pool and great breakfast. Rooms were clean and staff were very friendly especially the Romanian guy at the bar. Please consider leaving your car at home if you are travelling in the summer months. The roads can get clogged with traffic and there is a free bus that goes every 20 minutes between Talloires and Annecy so no need for a car to get around. There are lots of places to hire bikes too and use the cycle paths around the lake

It has great location overlooking the lake and easy walk to the town centre . Breakfast is excellent and plentiful . Whilst it isn’t cheap at €16 per head , it is a lot better value than the breakfast served at the local Giselle cafe !

The sole lift is far too small . It says will take 3 people but you would be lucky as far too tight ! We often took the stairs instead 👍

Hotel du lac is a very special place to enjoy and relax on your holidays. Buffet breakfast fantastic choice . I enjoyed a swim in the heated pool before breakfast evey morning of our stay. Pool opened at 830 am and breakfast served until 11 am . All the staff made our stay very special . The bar man was very kind we never had to wait for his attention . Thankyou x Pool opens at 8 30 am breakfas reserved until 11 am .

Perfect for me as I had room with a balcony overlooking the lovely pool! The room itself looked as though it needed a really good refurbishment but adequate for what I needed. The staff were ALL absolutely delightful and extremely friendly!

It could do with a lot of work tidying the rooms up! There was some rubbish on my balcony which was there the whole 2 weeks of my stay! Nothing to do with the staff but I felt the management needed to “tidy” up all the rooms! Paint work and do up the bathrooms!! However, I would still love to go back and stay there again in the future.

Location is incredible, a few minutes stroll from the lake. Hotel is charming and full of character. Pool is huge, plenty of sun loungers and shady spots for lunch or time out the sun, bowls and table tennis to keep the family entertained too. Will definitely be staying here again in the future

No air con in rooms, we had one good Dyson fan for the first few nights but when we moved to a smaller room half way through our trip the fans were old and not very good so the nights were quite hot. More food options for lunch would also be fab for days when we want to stay by the pool with the kids

Lovely, friendly, beautifully located hotel. Smiley helpful staff. Nice pool area with bar and table service from excellent and friendly bar man. Really large room. We got a kettle to use for the duration for free, and a few other bits. The fridge, a good size for a hotel room, was really useful. The staff were all friendly and helpful to a couple of non-French speakers!

Our only issue was the room being warm despite our efforts and the large fan provided. Ended up solving by opening door to cooler corridor & creating a thru-draft with windows. It was 34°C outside, and just a tad sticky inside.

Large room with balcony overlooking mountains and lake. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the pool with the added bonus of having a beer brought from the poolside bar. Short walk to lake and beach with restaurant nearby for pizza and bar type meals. Good breakfast. Parking on site

Would prefer shower cubicle as over bath shower difficult to use with no curtain without wetting floor.

the room had been recently renovated and was spacious enough for me and my colleague. The front desk staff did an impeccable job (especially Denise) as they quickly sorted out a shower issue, and helped out a few more times.

Breakfast quality could be a bit improved, but overall it had plenty of choices and being able to have breakfast in the garden was a big plus!

The location is perfect, you can park your car for free and the little square with nice coffee and restaurants is around the corner. From the hotel it's just minutes away from Talloires beach, our favorite place near lake Annecy. Tony is an excellent host that helped us before our arrival and during our stay!

We had the room with the balcony and it would have been nice to have a coffee/tea machine on the room so we could wake up and drink a cup of coffee on our balcony. We went to the restaurant instead to grab a cup of coffee in the morning and they charged us for it. I think tea of coffee in a hotel like this, for this price, should be for free.
