The hotel is located at the edge of the Sun Moon Lake and the view from the balcony is spectaculair. The staff is very helpful and speaks English. They also provided parking space for 200 TWD/day, which is cheap. It is the same parking spot but when you provide the hotel your car license plate you can drive in/out without having to bother with a ticket machine. Excellent breakfast options!

The instructions for parking your car is all in Chinese and if you don't know the lay-out of Shuishe you will have to puzzle a bit, but it is the large parking space in the middle of Shuishe. The bathroom is beginning to show its age and there is a lot of noise when other guests take a shower because the water falling down the pipes can be heard clearly.

The view overlooking the Sun Moon Lake was breathtaking! The 2nd best feature is that there is an instant hot/cold water dispenser in the room. No need to boil water! Bed was comfortable. Breakfast spread was very good and extensive. Good mix of Asian and Continental fare.

The internet in the hotel is quite bad. Connection keeps dropping. The bath tub rises up quite high. So not very convenient for elderly to get in/out of the tub.

Theres a little light which I couldnt figure out how to switch off next to the door other than taking key card out of the power slot. Breakfast was ok (my waffle was frozen and needs to go through the toaster oven)

hotel's location was excellent, literally right by the pier and near the bus station. Family Mart is right across the street. the room was clean, the toilet very comfortable and spacious. the breakfast was very good, meets international standard.

the room was a little small. given it was for 3 pax, i couldnt quite open my luggage fully. Otherwise, the room was excellent.

Great Location and Beautiful view over the Lake. Room had Universal Power outlets which was great not needing to use the Travel Adapters. Room had everything you needed. Location was great close to the Bus Stop and Feery

If I was on a Budget I would have just booked a standard room without the view. View was great but price was probably a bit much for just the view. Otherwise perfect

1) Mini water dispenser next to TV is very convenient 2) Location is great because just next to Shuise Pier for boat ride & walking distance to Shuise Visitor centre for buses going to Alishan & Taichung 3) One of the cooks in restaurant is muslim and she guided us as what to eat

Would appreciate if they can display information of what to do in case of earthquake because we experienced it for first time.

Th location was very convenient. It's located within 3 minutes walk from the bus station and is clearly visible on the high street. The hotel is located right next to the pier so it's easy to take the ferry for other parts of Sun Moon Lake.

The room was a bit old and but still it was clean and tidy. We were only there for one night to explore the lake so it was enough for my friend and I. The hotel breakfast was good but not extravagant.

I love the location! I’ve been to Sun Moon Lake 3 times and all three I stayed at this hotel. It’s near the dock where you can easily access and walk the trail along the lake. The views are stunning and the hotel is very clean and well maintained. I also enjoy the huge variety of breakfast options.

More fruit options besides watermelon would be appreciated.

Very near bus station. Hotel is old but they renovated, so bedroom was quite nice. The view was fantastic in both morning and dusk. Air con was super cold. I like that they have drinking water pipe in my room! (It has hot water too) I really enjoy drinking tea in the morning while sitting on balcony, enjoying fantastic view.

The bathroom was not renovated. It has some smell from sewer pipe. The balcony of each room was quite close so we could hear other room talking quite clear. Their breakfast was meh but its ok.

Perfect location. 3 minutes of walk to the bus station to take the bus back to Taipei (or the arrival station of the bus from Alishan). The Sun Moon Lake is right outside the hotel's restaurant. Good selection of breakfast but mostly Chinese style. The room is quite small, but understandable. The staff can speak English.

The toilet system in Taipei is quite advanced and very cool, yet we didn't find a heating system in the toilet here. A spacious bathroom for a small room (a family room for 4 people). Could have better coffee instead of just Americano.
