First of all, not sure how old the hotel is but it felt new. No chipping paint or wallpaper, no mold - everything felt very clean and modern. The room was lovely and well decorated. Beds were comfortable. Thermostat was able to be lowered to our liking (we like it cold at night). Staff was friendly and welcoming. I stayed at a different HI Express in March and there was a night and day difference between the two properties. I would make it a point to stop again if I was traveling on I-80.

The breakfast options weren’t great. I didn’t eat the hot food but nothing looked appetizing. Mini muffins were good! Also, disappointed by the water pressure in the faucets. It took a little longer than normal to rinse my hair in the shower.

Clean towels, clean breakfast.

The drain in our bathtub was backing up. After about 3 minutes in the shower, we were standing in a puddle of water up to our ankles. Also, the tab to pull up to turn into shower was not working properly. Half the water was coming out the shower head and the other half out the tub spicket.

Clean, comfortable, close to the outlets and restaurants. Pool and hot tub are excellent!

The breakfast was not edible. Stale cereal, undercooked sausages, burned eggs = the fuel we needed to keep going on our long road trip was frankly abysmal. In the shower, there are bottles with pumps containing shampoo, etc. It’s never nice to find out the shampoo is actually out during your shower.

Good roadside stop between chicago and new york. Restaurant slightly adjacent to property was great. Close to outlet mall for a nice activity. Comfortable and clean. Nice size fridge.

The breakfast wasn’t great. Rubbery turkey sausage and rubbery cheese omlettes (I would guess all over- warmed from frozen?). Pancake machine broken.

Lovely hotel with great beds and breakfast. Rooms where large and nicely appointed.

Too expensive especially for Canadians with the poor exchange rate. The staff need to ensure requests for items such as Kleenex are filled. Upgrade your toilet paper to two ply.

The convenience and the location except for there are no movie theaters in the area for some family time

The popcorn machine is gone. The kids loved it but they do provide popcorn still fantastic atmosphere staff and guests are always nice. We come here quite a bit.

The location to shopping & restaurants are so convenient! The staff is friendly & helpful.

The bed was too firm & our shower needed a repair, the faucet looked like it was pulling from the wall & we barely had any water pressure.

The experience was great and enjoyable. The room was clean, the pool was great for the kids, and the breakfast was enjoyable.

The rules were not followed in the pool area and some younger kids could not play in the pool. Hot tub was not working.

I choose Holiday Inn Express because while being a little more expensive than other hotels, they are consistently above average in their staff and housekeeping.

While not a major concern, the hotel was getting a renovation during my stay. I understand sometimes these things need to be done and it was no worry.

Newly remodelled. Nice furnitures in the guest room and Dining area, sparkling white bath tub, clean linens.

At the time, renovations are still on-Going so you can see dust. But Vacuum for sure will help. We did not feel it too much in the room.
