Location is breathtaking. The view from our room will be etched into my soul. I could have stayed for a week. The room was great with everything we needed for our stay. It was great to sleep with the sound of the ocean just outside our door.

A Microwave and a fridge with a freezer would be great to complete our room. Access to our room wasn’t easy and a lift would be good for us older travellers.

Location is perfect. Short walk to the beach and a couple of little cafes. The Signature room was clean and comfortable with balcony overlooking the beach. Room was on the size of small but very cosy, comfortable bed with oversized comfy pillows, beautiful quality shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Tea & coffee making facility, bottles of water in the fridge, ironing board & iron, wine glasses all available in the room. Absolutely perfect for a couple of nights stay. Bonus having the restaurant downstairs, the meals were wonderful and so was the service. I’d definitely book here again when passing through in the future. I’d imagine this hotel would be very busy during peak times.

Some rooms are currently under renovation so it was a little noisy in the morning but we knew that before we booked. This didn’t affect how I rated this property because I’m sure it will be amazing once renovations are completed.

Fabulous location above Yamba beach. We selected the 4-bunk room without en-suite, for our family of 4 adults. We were allocated a room further away from the bar, which was good because the bar is very popular and noisy until around midnight. But our room was relatively quiet considering. The shared showers and toilets were conveniently located and clean. The showers worked well with plenty of hot water. Compared to camping this was luxury. If you wish you can pay 4 times more for two of their Signature private double en-suite rooms, but we chose to save the money. There is a communist are outside the bunk rooms where you can make complementary coffee/tea etc. Our comunal area overlooked the ocean which was a fabulous view. Some other rooms would not have had the ocean view shared area and could be much closer to the bar so beware. There is a sink in the room which is very convenient.

As the bunk rooms open on to a comunal area, there is no external window. Nor is there air conditioning, so the small room with four adults inside in summer, got quite hot! There was a floor standing fan which helped, but no where near as much as having an external window or aircon. Whilst the background noise of the bar was not too bad in our room until some time after 11pm, the volume was suddenly turned up significantly louder, with thumping base beat and lasted until the pub shut around midnight. This was very noticeable and made sleep difficult. Some time after midnight everything was quiet. The bunk rooms seem quite dated, but still represent good vale for the location.

The uninterrupted view and sound of the ocean from my hotel room. The lounge and bed were comfortable. All this for a resonable price tag compared to other accommodation offering similar oceans views. The nostalgia of the Hotel's history is reflected in the original character of the room which was neat and tidy as I expected.

The fridge was small and on the floor which required sitting on the floor or bending right over to access it. It should have been on small table. The standing fan was full of dust and rust which prevented it from working most efficiently.

Stunning views over the ocean and a great balcony for whale watching. Very clean and cleverly designed modern rooms. Great shower and comfy bed. Enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. Good range of menu items to choose from.

The neighbours! It seems that the view side has the great views and fab rooms, but the other side had bunk rooms where a horde of youngsters were staying. They were so noisy, screaming and running up and down and banging on all their doors. I know other people on our floor were not happy. But our room was fabulous and sleeping with a pillow over our heads cut out the noise.

Beautiful room with modern styling and facilities. Had everything you needed and very clean.. Very quiet, no noise from downstairs. Beautiful views to wake up to of the ocean. We had an awesome two night stay and would recommend it to anyone. We stayed in the newer rooms.

No compendium to let you know how to work tv and aircon. or what's around town nearby or what is on at the hotel, etc ... We didn't know how to turn aircon to warmer or off as it was cold. We didn't know how to get the tv off to sleep so ended up disconnecting the power with the key swipe.

Location was fantastic.. Gail in housekeeping was amazing beautiful lady. Thankyou Gail . Facilities very clean, hot water, fabulous views.

The reception lady was not very friendly at all. Like she didn't like her job or people. We noticed it with us and other customers. Didn't get her name long dark hair in pony tail. But I wouldn't let that stop you from staying there. Just send her love .

We booked one last c the signature rooms. Excellent . Great views. Comfortable bed and room was clean. Being an old Pub. Save was a bit tight but we managed. Food in Restaurant was exceptional and steak I had at one meal was best I have ever eaten. Would definitely stay again

Fridge in room was not operating well. It cooled drinks but not cold. Staff came up to investigate but really didn’t solve problem.

Recently renovated and beautifully decorated with nice touches. Easy parking. Extremely helpful and friendly staff and great location with pub and restaurant attached.

Only that the rooms are a bit small and compact which is fine for a night but probably not ideal for much more than that. And while we did not hear any noise from the pub itself we did have all the kegs being changed or moved around directly under our bedroom in the early hours of the morning.

The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable.

The main staircase was original and I’m glad I didn’t have to negotiate bringing my case up that way. The spiralling nature of the stairs would have been easier if there had been another handrail on the other side - where the treads were wide. The bar and dining room downstairs was a lovely surprise. Great view and excellent food
