We loved the pools, the staff, the beach, the food and the entertainment. Kids Club was excellent, our daughter loved it. Everyone was fluent in several languages and that simplified everything—no sales pitches (like the ones we had in the Iberostar in MEX). We had so much fun.

We didn't like being so close to the municipal water effluent treatment plant... the smell of it all could not be avoided, especially in the evenings. The bathrooms near the pool needed a bit more attention. The beds were average... too hard to my taste. Mosquito bites abounded as well. The minibar was empty. The app did not work very well. And finally, the windows did not shut out the noises well enough.

Loved the family rooms set up with a sliding door for separation. Loved all the kids pools and slides - fab for even a 21 month old - especially the slide in reception!! And loved the reuse boxes to leave behind inflatables/buckets etc that you don’t want to take home with you. Cold filtered water fountains near the rooms came in very handy.

One major let down for a “family hotel” was that the floor around all of the pools (except one small area of the kids splash zone) is dangerously slippery, especially with how often they clean it. Need grippy shoes for kids. A few other things - the chips in the kids section at the buffet were covered in salt, there was no kids cutlery, and the family rooms don’t have a bath (or a bath mat for toddlers to sit in the shower). It was great to provide hot milk at the cafe at the sister hotel - just a bit of a long walk!!

It is comfortable and nice, the staff is amazing, they are kind and make you feel good all the time, some examples of them are Loly, Sergio, Daniel, Maria. It is in front of a beautiful beach. It has many activities and things to do. The SPA was amazing too. It is all inclusive and this is great, at the bar the cocktails are very good and at the coffee shop, coffee and snacks are good.

It says it is dog friendly, it is not really thar. They let you have your dog in the room, that’s it, this is not really dog friendly. At some hours there is a line to go to the restaurant, so mind that time or go before there is a line.

This resort is unique, their investment is not only the property but also the staff. Outstanding Food Quality and varieties. It has a large pool and it's a place for families, to spend a good amount of time. Lots of entertainment activities for kids and adults. Don't miss the family photography, Allen- Photographer does his magic for a beautiful family picture. Highly recommended for families to spend a holidays Yoga Teacher in the morning, she doesn't teach . She makes you feel the positive energy..that too in front of the beach. Don't miss it !

The heated pool and Jacuzzi were not working. When the weather is bad, it's a challenge and it has to be prioritised to fix . Face painting staff should spend extra time to accommodate all the kids. some kids were crying, let's not disappoint anyone, during holidays.

We stayed for 6 nights in family room. About the resort: Albufera Park is more for family (as the family rooms, kids pools and kids activities are in this area) and Albufera Playa is more for couples or groups without kids. Location: The hotel is reachable by public bus from the airport. it took about 1,5 hours and the bus stop is also quite close by. We really love our stay in this resort. It is basically two hotels combined as one resort, but hotel guests can use any of the facilities in both hotels. Beach is not private but it is only few steps away from the hotel. there are sunbeds which you can rent for about 14eur per day for 2 sunbeds. Dining: There are 6 restaurants but these are not always open at the same time. However, at one meal time you always have 2-3 options to dine in. The buffet restaurants (3 of them) do not require reservation, but the ala carte restaurants do need reservations which you can do conveniently via their app upon check-in. Sometimes the displayed available timings for tables are quite strange, but you can contact the hotel staff at the reception and they can adjust it for you. Tips: try their Spanish restaurant, it was so good! Conclusion: What I can really highlight is the friendliness of the staff, the quality of food (there are always a lot of good selection in the buffets, and the food in the ala carte restaurants do also have good quality), and the activities offered for the kids (kids open air cinema with popcorn stand was a total superb idea)!

Coffee taste could be improved, at least at the Star Café (we expected more proper coffees..). Waiting times in Greek Restaurant could be improved - we waited really long time for our dish, unlike in Mexican and Spanish restaurants. The dining chairs in Mistral restaurant is too low. The pedicure in the spa could be improved - when I was there, the lighting was minimal and I was in a hurry to go, so I did not check the nails properly. But when I arrived in my room, I realized that the result was not neat. But the massage was nice, though.

Wonderful hotel perfect for a family stay. Resort grounds are spotlessly clean and beautiful. The staff everywhere is polite, friendly and helpful. Food is tasty and varied. There is a fun atmosphere by the pool and a ton of activities for kids throughout the day. Our toddler loved the waterslides. The beach is easy to access, wide, sandy with mountain bay views. Nearby there is a park with a scenic jogging path and a supermarket if you need to buy some essential. Everything you need for a great vacation.

Variety of food is something worth mentioning. Very helpful and nice staff. Crew that is responsible for kids attractions does above and beyond. They are fun, always smile and care about kids around them. I witnessed a situation where we did an excursion and one 4 yo boy couldn't handle it and was missing his mom and dad but crew lady was always with him, cheering him up and very patient with him. Kudos for that. This is hard work but all the team pays great attention to children. And that my lads gives a big picture on how big they are on kids satisfaction. Clean rooms, great view. Attentitive and positive personnel who is always there for you.

Great hotel for families, right on the beautiful beach. Pools were amazing, out kids loved it Great food & drink selection, especially fish, fruit, vegetables- incredibly tasty. The food has been freshly prepared and changed every day + there is cafeteria opened 24/7. Nice spacious room easily accommodated 4 of us It looks big complex, but we didn’t have the feeling of crowded hotel, ppl distributed across the facilities and several pools.

We would appreciate better matraces for this category of hotel on all of beds As there is a lot of mosquitoes, nets on the windows would be great Be aware the beach is public and you have to pay extra for sun-beds & umbrella (if available when you come to the beach)

Everything was wonderful! Food was healthy and delicious. I love that they source their produce locally. Facilities were clean and very strategically designed. Everything at the resort is made for your and your kids comfort and good time. Hotel is right on the beach which was great for us since my parents only wanted to swim in the ocean. Entertainment was geared towards both children and adults. Well organized schedule of activities for every day! Hotels sustainability efforts deserve praise - no plastic straws or containers, everything is compostable, reusable and organic. Very impressed! Work well done! Wonderful hotel, in particular every single staff member was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean, the grounds were beautiful with lots of flowers, trees and easy access to the stunning beach. Our children loved the facilities and we all found the evening entertainment fantastic (I'm quite a sceptic usually). The food selection was great and we particularly liked our mexican meal.

There was nothing we didn't like. The one thing I'd say is that our kids didn't go for the starcamp (though plenty of other kids did!)- perhaps a few extra staff needed on that at times but the people who did run it were incredibly kind and fun.
