The quiet location and the pool. Well equipped kitchen. Staff were just lovely. For a resort, it had a real family vibe which was really nice.

Our apartment (33) was a swim out one. There was an odd coloured tile in the middle of the room with no grout around it that moved when you stood on it. The fan switches didn’t work properly and it was difficult to adjust settings. There were gaps around the door ( level of workmanship in the building in general wasn’t great for a newish 4 star resort)

We had a wonderful stay in a 2-bedroom swim-out apartment, which was perfect for our family. The space was thoughtfully designed with plenty of storage, and the beds were super comfortable. It’s a little further out of town, but we appreciated the quiet, peaceful surroundings. The staff were warm, helpful, and made us feel right at home. A real highlight was the excellent café just a short walk away, serving delicious breakfast and lunch with beautiful river views—we went every day. We also loved relaxing on our patio each afternoon and stepping straight into the pool.

If we had to mention anything, a bathroom shelf would’ve been handy for toiletries, and noise does carry a bit between patios, but neither were major issues. We’d happily stay here again in a heartbeat.

Well equipped apartment with everything we needed for our 5 night stay. Nice and quiet with views of the golf course. Air con and ceiling fans in each room was great. Comfy beds and very clean.

Hard to fault but one minor comment is the main bedroom (internal) was small and didn't have any reading lights. Main pool area was noisy at times so glad our room was at the back of the resort overlooking the golf course. Check in time was very limited (2-3pm only) but clear instructions to access lock box were given but did end up waiting nearly 10 mins for someone to answer the phone for the code!

What a resort! Great for big families, we had 4 apartments and they were all amazing and super clean. Also in a good location, not too far from town and a good base. Biggest pool we've ever seen, the kids were swimming constantly! The staff were very accommodating and lovely. Great swimming holes, fishing spots and right next to the golf course which the men loved. We left to go to cairns and stayed in a place that did not compare, we would've preferred to stay here the whole trip. My family and I all said we would definitely come back 🙂 thank you for having us!

Nothing at all. We did have an issue with 1 of the apartment lights not working but that was dealt with promptly and there were no issues after that!

Location is great peaceful and quiet but not too far from town by car. A supermarket is very close, also by car. Taxis seem to be readily available The staff at reception is fantastic, they go out of their way to help you and advise about tours and the like. We were slightly disappointed with the size of the apartment on the second level, the stairs are long and you have to walk along way around to the pool. The views are nice though. When I mentioned all this at reception they were very understanding and offered us a larger, much nicer apartment and the ground floor with direct pool access and only charged a minimal amount. If not booking direct I would suggest to call them to check which appartement you’ve got as they are all privately owned and therefore all different Highly recommend number 55 !

Lovely modern and spacious apartment. The pool is spectacular and was the main focal point of our stay. We loved being able to literally step off our terrace and into the water.

Maybe it was due to school holidays but the price had gone up significantly from our previous visit last year. It's a lot of money to pay for just an apartment and pool a little way out of town with no other resort features such as an on-site restaurant, day spa, gym etc. Although we loved it and will hope to stay again, we will probably only do so if we can find a special deal.

We had a fantastic 4 night stay as a family of 5 in a 3 bed apartment. Just wish we had stayed longer! The two ladies on reception were fantastic and helped arrange tours, gave us ideas and pointed us in the right direction so we had a fabulous stay in port Douglas. The pool(s) itself is incredible, Don’t think I’ve ever seen such a big pool! It was always spotless, and even when lots of other villas were in it still felt empty as it’s so big! Absolutely perfect for a morning or evening swim after all the activities PD has to offer. We loved the self catering apartment and it was really well stocked so we could cook a couple of evenings. Would absolutely stay again if I was in PD. Also really easy to get into town in the paid shuttle so not a problem not being central.

Very comfy beds. Loved that the lagoon pool was right off our room. Large alfresco area too. Lovely helpful staff. Quiet location and plenty of parking.

Maybe slightly outdated and in need of a little refresh. Nothing at all major though. We had a hire car so wasnt an issue but not super close to town if you wanted to walk in for dinner. There was a town shuttle bus $6 one way or $10 return if you needed.

Great central location without being caught in the hustle and bustle of town. Quiet surroundings despite lots of guests. Large pools with plenty of space and deck chairs. Beautiful plants. Plenty of aircon and fans. Large fridge. Great shower and bath. Plenty of parking with sensor lights.

Bright pool lights stayed on all night which made it difficult to sleep. Dishwasher did not clean the dishes properly. No dining table inside so could not eat together inside.

A lovely 2 bedroom apartment that shared its pool with 3 other apartments. We pretty much had the whole pool to ourselves the whole holiday! Perfect for families with young kids - we wanted somewhere we could be at home in the evening, have our 5 year old son go to bed and not disturb each other. Kitchen facilities were great as we ate at home most of the time.

The apartment could have been a bit cleaner on arrival but it was resolved (without our prompting) a couple of days later. The bare earth canal on the golf course right next to the pool looks a bit like an active construction site but we appreciate this is out of the resort's control.
