This is a home away from home. The pool was great and the orientation is in the sun so it got warm enough to swim in by the afternoon. There were pool toys to use, sun lounges and bbq area. Every other place we stayed on our two week holiday had pools that were unheated and far too cold to get in. I know we visited in July but you do expect a swimmable pool. All it takes are a pool blanket and some solar panels.to take the edge off the chill . Our apartment was well stocked in the kitchen and we took advantage of the book and dvd library. The managers Edward and Leo were lovely. We would stay there again.

I would like to see solar heating for the pool to make it even better for winter visitors.

Great option for self-contained, self-catered accommodation. Great value, good location, clean and comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen with coffee pod machine, washing machine and dryer. Good library of DVDs available next to office. Friendly hosts.

Dated 32 inch Toshiba TV in our 2br deluxe unit could not decode the newer mpeg format of multiple FTA channels (eg sound but no pictures for all commercial channels, etc) and not a smart TV. Suggest upgrading when able.

The pool was lovely, the bed large and comfortable, local knowledge about location service providers was most helpful, the location was close enough to everything to be easily accessible and far enough away to be quiet.

The kitchen was only big enough for one person to work, and was without dishwashing facilities, and cutlery could be refreshed. This said it had everything we needed.

Well-appointed, clean, modern apartments. Good air-con, nice beds & kitchen had all the essentials. Location was great. Closer to the main strip than it looks on a map. We enjoyed the 25min stroll to Macrossan St and/or Harbourside. There is also a short cut to the beach nearby. DVD/book library near reception was a nice touch. Pool looked nice although we didn't use it.

Reception staff were great on check in but were only open as needed, rather than standard hours. We wanted to speak to someone on check-out at 9.30am but there was no one there.

After staying the first night in the allocated apartment (explained below), we complained to Edward the manager. Luckily he was very understanding and offered us another apartment which was much bigger, better and on the ground floor. We moved straight away for the rest of our stay. This apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Thanks Edward.

The original apartment we booked was not in a suitable condition. The floating floorboards were not fixed properly and I constantly felt like I was going to fall through them as they dipped down in many places when walking on them. The tiles in the shower were the same as the rest of the floor tiles, but were very slippery when wet. There was no bath mat for safety. Also the soap holder in the shower was broken so there was nowhere to put the soap. This apartment was on the first floor, however the lighting was very poor at night and stairs were very slippery during rainfall. We did not feel safe.

It’s a nicely sized apartment for longer term vacationers. The bed if comfy, the amenities are satisfactory including washing machine, kettle, microwave, hair dryer etc., I was especially happy with the washing machine.

I was there for a couple of nights’ stay and it is not a hotel but a longer term rental-ish. The rooms are not cleaned daily and you’re supposed to take your trash out etc. It is a 15-20 min walk away from the main street in port douglas and there are not too many restaurants / bars around.

Fantastic family friendly pool, conveniently close to the apartments. Excellent facilities such as comfy beds, effective air con, fans, washing machine and tumble dryer, covered park adjacent to apartment. Location wonderful- walking distance from town and marina and 5 minute walk to the beach! Helpful staff who gave useful advice on local activities.

We would have liked a plunger coffee maker but made do with the stovetop espresso maker. A minor point. I also prefer larger mugs but another minor point.

Nicely clean room, good facilities and friendly staff. We loved the pool. Perfect location for us as it’s just outside the main hustle and bustle of the town. Would recommend having a car for convenience as it is a bit of a walk to the main town especially in the heat. We had a hire car and it made the trip so much more convenient.

Shower curtain did not keep water in the shower it was like a flood after each shower. Pillows need replacing.

The room was one of the not renovated ones and you can tell, as the kitchen and bathroom were a bit sad, but not horrid or unusable. For a room with 4 people there was never going to be enough toilet paper, easily rectified, but meant an unplanned trip to shops. Same goes for no laundry powder. Couch could do with restringing

We enjoyed superb family accommodation in the deluxe 2 bedroom apartment. It has a fully equipped kitchen with higher end, full sized appliances including a capsule coffee machine, loads of utensils and thoughtful touches like cling wrap, spices, oils, condiments and a generous supply of dishwasher tablets: self-catering here is far easier and more practical than in most holiday apartments. The private, fully enclosed patio has its own dining table and chairs, as well as loungers and its own barbecue. The large TV was equipped with Netflix, the wifi was high-speed and reliable, and there was a WFH space far enough out of the way, but still providing a good view of activity in the dining and lounge areas. The large TV is equipped with Netflix and the laundry facilities included a dryer as well as an outdoor clothes line - and a decent laundry basket, good supplies of laundry liquid etc. Everything was spotlessly clean. Leo and Edward have put a lot of thought into how this apartment would be used, and it would be our clear first choice in future.

It says how great this apartment was, that the only thing I missed was kitchen roll to pat the steaks dry with! It really was wonderful.
