The room is so clean and have everything we need to stay for a couple of days. If you stay for a long time you could easily refill toilet paper or laundry detergent from grocery store or from reception. Kitchen utensils are enough for the whole family, salt, pepper , oil and spices are all in the cabinet. The location is great, you could walk to the beach, the port to take cruise, and main Street to have food! They also have a pool with table , bbq facilities, fridge on the side. Swimming kicking board, noodle and balls are all provided. They even have a basket in the pool for throwing balls into. It’s such a relaxing place for couples and families with children!

Friendly, helpful staff. Mick, Sue, and Pam were lovely. Fully equipped and very spacious apartment in a tropical setting. Approximately 15 mins. walk to the supermarket, shops, and restaurants, with a Shuttle Bus only a phone call away if needed. 4 Mile Beach is just across the road.

July 2025 : The pool area is perhaps a little dated and too small and crowded. Also, I personally thought the water was too warm for a refreshing swim on a hot day.

The cleanliness of the apartment was the first thing we noticed. Immaculate. Kitchen was spotless. The friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts was wonderful. It was 800m to the Main Street and only a short 300m to four mile beach. The apartment was very comfortable with everything we needed. The hosts gave us great recommendations for tours and restaurants to try. They were amazing experiences that made the trip even more enjoyable. Our family enjoyed the heated pool after a day of travelling or sightseeing. It was well looked after with comfortable poolside chairs. We loved the apartments and glad we chose this location for our Port Douglas stay.

Unfortunately the apartment is located close to some neighbouring rental homes that had some loud partying taking place well into the evening. It was a mild distraction for all the guests staying at Nautilus.

Spacious bedrooms. Location is only a 15 minute walk into the main shopping strip. A liquor store only a few doors down.

Toilet main bathroom needed multiple flushes for No2s. Shower taps need resetting and/or new washers. The laundry wasker leaked sometimes. Kitchen utensils needed variation/updating: eg the pots were essentially all same size. On the main road so at night you will hear passing traffic.

The room was perfectly apartment-sized, spacious, and spotlessly clean. There was plenty of room to stretch out, rest, and stow away luggage. Flawless floors contributed to a comfortable stay, and judging by the size of the ground, it was quite spacious. Amenities and appliances were well-maintained and conveniently positioned. For example, the fridge was big and spacious, capable of storing several days worth of food. The microwave, by Samsung, incorporated a number pad that made warming up food favourable compared to other microwaves we have experienced, which were complicated. Additionally, the beds were super comfy, and the rooms were well-furnished with tables and coat hangers. All these details displayed the highly competent aesthetic standards that Mick and Sue affirm. An incident occurred on the Quicksilver Cruises, where I was stung by a Bluebottle Jellyfish on my hand and face. However, not to worry, as Mick came to my aid by contacting local GPs and hospitals, inquiring about my condition. Sue came out offering ice packs and medical advice, which helped drastically reduce the pain and swelling. Both were highly professional and friendly, which made me feel peaceful in such a bad situation. Overall, the rooms were spacious and clean, with amenities precisely crafted in the right spot. Again, very generous and kudos to both Mick and Sue for helping me, as well as my family, throughout my holidays.

Good sized apartment. Friendly staff. Awesome heated pool and close to the beach access. Short walk to the town centre (about 10mins for us) We used the pool multiple times and our 20 month old daughter loved it. Not many accommodations in this area have heated pools so this was great!

Was a little more dated than I expected inside the apartment. Could do with a freshen up of bed/bedding and kitchen equipment.

The check in was great - Sue, the owner, immediately made us feel welcome and really took the time to share her tips and insights about the surroundings. We also got a covered parking spot for the whole stay. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated, the furniture and bedding was comfortable. All the equipment was in good shape. The location was really good too, a 15min stroll or 2min drive to the Main Street and marina and 5min walk to the beach.

Not much to say, maybe the floor could use a little bit more cleaning but this is me being picky.

The property is in a great location, spotlessly clean and the kitchen has every utensil you could need. The WiFi and TV were great to stay caught up and entertain. However it was the fabulous help booking tours and guiding our self drive exploring that really made our holiday exceptional. Thank you Mike.

Apartment 214 was incredibly comfortable, spacious, modern and equipped with everything you can think of, even little birthday candles should you wish to bake a birthday cake while staying there. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven, all there. Amazing! The owners Sue and Mick were super friendly. They research and book your tours and trips if you like, very convenient. They also let us do a late checkout so we could take a shower after our reef trip before heading back to Cairns.

Great pool in the complex to cool down . Well stocked apartment and kitchen showing us to easily self cater . Location was outside of the main town centre but close enough to walk or drive in 3 minutes. Complex was very clean and well maintained.

Master bed was very soft- but that's more of a personal preference
