The room was spacious, housekeeping was very attentive and did a great job resetting our room at varying times whenever we were out of the room, the location was great and very walkable. The front desk staff was helpful.

The rooms are a bit aged, the bathroom needs some updating as the ceiling had water damage, the grout and sealant was needing to be replaced and the furniture in the room had a lot of scuffs and damage as did the flooring. The lights were very confusing and many bulbs in the room did not work at all. The light switches remained on and bright when the lights are turned off which made it hard to sleep as they are right next to the bed.

It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

The basic coffee and tea facilities, it was missing teaspoon, milk/creamer and sugar.

Nice big room. Convenient location: walkable distance to the intercity bus terminal; bus stations nearby to commute to city attractions; 10 minutes walk to Hwangnidan-girl (where a lot of cafes and restaurants are located); and a bakery and Mcdonald within one minute. Luggage storage was available prior to check in and check out, which is nice. They have a gym as well though we didn't use it. Would recommend this and rebook this if I ever revisit Gyeongju!

The only con was that I found the room to be a bit dark (when the blinds are closed).

The hotel is nicely located in Gyeongju at the bus terminal where you will find all connections in all directions you need (korail station and tourist attaction). I found it a very nice starting point for various activities. The main tourist area is about 5-10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The staff is friendly, the room is spacious and well equipped. The fitness room has the necessary utensils for a workout, but nothing over fancy. Overall, a very pleasnt experience.

We travelled across Korea on our trip starting in Seoul and gradually heading down to Busan, this was by far the best hotel we stayed in and also the best value. The rooms were finished to a high standard, roomy (bathroom very spacious also) and very clean. I am from England and would say it would easily equate to a 4 start hotel in England, if not 5. Staff were welcoming and very happy to help with directions to places and booking of taxis etc.

For Western tourists, the fact the sauna area was male-only was a surprise. However, the sauna itself was a great facility which my partner used daily, it would have been nice if I could have used it with him.

Being a 3 star tourist hotel, the GG is an excellent choice for quality, location and facilities, at pretty good value room rates. The GG is not a love hotel and is a good family hotel. The room aircon was effective and easy to use. The TV in the room offered CNN (channel 250) and BBC World News (channel 251).

Two small gripes, there was only a bedside cabinet at one side of the double bed, which was annoying, and also, having tried breakfast on the first morning, we decided it wasn't brilliant. One major gripe for me was that it only offered instant coffee. It was a nice option to have, but the low volume of customers limits choice and quality. On day ywo we got takeaway coffee and pastries from Paris Bagette next door!

The cleanliness, comfort level and size of the room. The bathroom - jacuzzi bathtub, rainwater shower and the smell of the shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. Lots of eateries and convenience stores within walking distance, there’s even a McDonald next to the hotel. The location of the hotel is within 5 mins from the Express Bus Station. The bus stop opposite the hotel can take us to all the major sights.

The service level and professionalism of the staff at the reception counter weren’t on par. It was a hit or miss depending on who served you. The lady who went out of her way to help with my temple stay was brilliant (forgotten to ask for her name, thanks). The guy who I asked to book a taxi for me just muttered something and walked away while I waited for more than 10 mins for a no-show. I had to ask another lady to help which she did.

Big room with a spa tub. Convenient location, close to Express bus terminal. 15min walking distance to where all the restaurants are, and attractions.

Bed was hard (old mattress), not very comfortable. We were there 3 days, and they don't have breakfast avail, but that is not a big problem because many cafe close by. Price was higher than the other Korean towns that we stayed.

First this place is perfectly situated. You next to bus stations ( express and inter city), next to the taxi station, walking distance from most attractions and the KTX train station is 15 mins away. The rooms were super comfortable and the staff was amazing.

The curb appeal is not there. From the outside it looks like an old empty office building and you are not even sure where the front door is located. However, the rooms are great and big. The staff is amazing and it’s perfectly located. Just book it!

Spacious and clean room. Accessible to attractions and bus stops. Near Mcd, Paris Baguette and convenient stores. Amazing shower water pressure with huge tub for my toddler. 2 ceiling aircon for great ventilation. Recommend for families. We were told that we need to pay for the cot but it was not necessary as the double bed could fit 2 adults and 1 toddler.

Have to pay for the cot. My child was only 1.5 years old.
