We arrived at midnight and the host Fiona waited to meet us, with a big smile she explained everything to us and how things work, very warm welcome. Breakfast was provided fresh every morning (self service) and the kids got their favorite cereals too. Anything you ask is provided and Fiona was very helpful, kind and friendly at all times we really felt at home. The room was very specious for a family of 4, clean and comfortable, bathroom very clean and nice too with warm water throughout. T'was beautiful waking up to birds songs :) and kids loved running around the lovely garden. Bus stop to Bath and Wells just 2 minutes walk in this very nice and quiet neighborhood we enjoyed our 6 days stay. Eating places just less than 10 minutes walk. I highly recommend this B&B. Lovely quiet rural location near Shepton Mallet. Friendly and helpful host. Good sized ground floor room with patio door access to garden. Very nice continental breakfast for consumption in the room (table and chairs supplied) and ingredients renewed each day as required. Very comfortable king sized bed.

Fiona and Paul were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was very good and accommodation was clean and inviting. Fiona had thought of everything you might need for a comfortable stay.

Main bed was very comfortable. As we booked for 3 adults, camp bed was adequate for child or small adult but would not suit a larger person.

Lovely lady had time to chat with us and didn't just hand us the keys. Peaceful, well-stocked, well laid out and clean. Very comfortable bed. Everything you could need was available.

Everything was very good. There was honestly nothing to fault although my tv addict husband wanted a bigger tv🤔🤣

Situated in a narrow country Somerset road with stunning views as you travel. The welcome was lovely and homely so we felt at ease immediately. The apartment is at the rear of the main house and fully equipped with toaster, small fridge and everythi g to make hot drinks. In the fridge is milk and fruit juice plus items for your continental breakfast. The shower is just right in the washroom. The bed is enormous! and very comfortable. The lovely garden is full of bird songs and a nice sun trap. The local eateries are spread in all directions but personally we found the food and welcome at Oakhill Inn so wonderful. Try it out and be prepared for an appetising menu, friendly staff and a very sayisfying meal. What more can I say than...TRY IT ALL, you iwon't be disappointed .

The tv reception was hit and miss but who needs it in this beautiful setting?.

Couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome, host was lovely. Clear directions received upon booking. Fridge stocked with breakfast, juice and milk and there was plenty of tea and coffee. Room was very clean. Couldn't have asked for more, thank you so much.

Fiona met us when we arrived and showed us the accommodation, explaining where everything was and how it worked. There was a plentiful breakfast provided including bread, butter, jams,cereals,yoghurt,cheese and ham as well as a good selection of hot drinks. The room was spacious for the two of us and wonderfully warm. The shower had plenty of hot water and towels. Fiona had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and pleasant.

We loved the quietness of the location, yet there were bus stops to Bath or Wells within two minutes walk It was so convenient We found it very clean with a lovely view of the back garden

Ww do like a cooked English breakfast when we are away, but we knew it wasn't provided, the provided continental one was good though

I loved looking straight into the garden (in warm weather, sitting out with a cuppa would be great). Breakfasts were generous. The room is spacious yet warm and cosy. Staying in a real BnB, where the hosts actually live, is great. Fiona was so helpful (thanks also to Paul). The peace and quiet meant I slept deeply (and late). Beautiful Wells is a 15 minute drive, as is Glastonbury/the Tor. Excellent bathroom. Little extras like a coat stand were convenient. Off road parking is something I’ve really come to appreciate in UK. And Narla the staffy is a bonus.

Most beautiful garden, loved going to sleep and waking up with view of garden, as sun beams through. Host, wonderful, helpful and responsive.

TV could be a bit bigger and more centrally placed on wall. Decor could do with a refresher. But these are minor.
