A perfectly satisfactory place to crash for the night if exploring Monterey etc., at a good price. Cheap and functional. Clean and tidy. The heating worked well, and there are enough restaurants within driving distance to find an evening meal.

Impossible to find at night (especially if raining). Hidden behind the gas station, the address given is that for the main road (gas station), whereas the entrance is around the corner. No signage on either entrance. The guy at reception, who also seemed to work at the gas station, could have smiled. Just once. That would have been nice. Breakfast bag was a mix of extremes. A decent amount of fruit, bananas, mandarins - very good, or sticky cinnamon buns and sweet yoghurt.

Monterey is not too far away, and staying here allowed us to save some money. However, there isn't much to do in Marina, so be prepared to drive. The hotel is a typical motel, located behind a gas station. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the rooms are big, clean and comfortable, providing a quiet atmosphere. Breakfast consists of a grab-and-go paper bag that you can enjoy in your room or wherever you like. Inside, you'll find yogurt, fruit, a granola bar, a pastry and unlimited coffee.

The hotel consider breakfast to be complimentary, so nothing should be said. However, it is perhaps the aspect that needs the most improvement.

The room was very clean and large with refrigerator and microwave. Furnishings were very pleasant. Nice linens. It was nice getting a small bag of breakfast type goodies every morning.

Guests have to go into the gas station 7/11 type store to get coffee or hot water. It would be nice if that were available in the hotel reception lobby, instead. But having the gas station there, in front of the hotel, was not a problem. It provided light all night and a feeling of security.

Friendly staff got quickly got us set up in two rooms after asking if we preferred to be on the ground floor since we were traveling with small children (much appreciated!). The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The small refrigerators came in handy as we were "brown bagging" it the next day. Breakfast was simple but filling.

There was no ice in the ice machine in the morning and I wished there was just black coffee vs. hazelnut.

Great location, shares a lot/parking with a gas station which is convenient imo, quiet (minus the person above our room), very spacious, clean room, comfy bed, and very helpful and friendly staff

There was some construction (lobby renovation) and a very noisy upstairs guest, but these were minor compared to the positives

We were greeted upon arrival by a very pleasant staff person. The room was spotless and had several amenities. The breakfast bag was amazing! So many wonderful items! Enough to provide both breakfast and snacks til lunch! The coffee bar had several nice extras as well. We were also grateful to see the "Human Trafficking" alert poster framed in the front office! It was nice to see a hotel raise awareness of this issue!

The charging ports in the lamps did not work, but we had our little charging cubes to plug in, so it was fine. The floor had been vacuumed in our room, but it could have used a mopping. Our socks and bare feet were a bit dirty after walking around on it. The hotel is situated behind a gas station and main road, so it was not the quietest location, but it definitely wasn't bad enough to be a deal breaker.

it is actually are 3 rd time staying there it very clean and they even give you free coffee and a treat bag with yogurt and cookie so cute

It was the quietest accommodation of our trip so far. The location is nice, we were given 2 rooms next to each other, parking was actually always available. Breakfast bags at check-out, I found quite nice :) It's just not a typical buffet as we Europeans know it

I had long hair in bed that didn't belong to me.

Conveniently placed next to a gas station, free ice, and the woman who checked us in on Thursday around 3:30 was very kind and courteous

The room could've used a bit more attention to detail, there was an empty roll of toilet paper and recyclable trash in the small recycling bin under the sink from the last guest but these were only minor inconveniences . But I do reccomend cleaning the gunk off the inside of the drain in the bathtub as there was scum in there but not too bad .

The room was spacious, the beds comfortable, the go-to breakfast bag was full of healthy snacks and fruits. The price was fantastic and the staff was very friendly.

The door to the room took some extra effort to close and the bathroom door wouldn't close enough to be locked.
