Afrique Boutique Hotel is tastefully and beautifully decorated. Great care taken has been in pulling everything together, from the decor to the lovely gardens through to the rooms. The rooms are spacious and decorated with luxury in mind. Huge, comfortable beds! The food was delicious, we did not leave the property for meals, the menu was superb, especially for those that love a good steak. However, there were vegetarian and other great dishes too! The staff are helpful and attentive. A great hotel and we will be back again for sure!

Bigger towels in the bathrooms would have been nice.

Best value of any hotel/B&B I have stayed at in the area...can't say enough positive things about Afrique, I wish I had known about it earlier as I stayed at a nearby place 4 times in past month which was no where near as good! I will definitely stay there anytime I am in the Joburg area again! I really liked your display and dinner of aged steak! Excellent all around...I will recommend to colleagues!

Only that I only had one night before having to leave town for business...I would have liked to enjoy an extended stay!

a very precisely selected atmosphere of a one-story hotel and conference complex with a large territory. good cuisine, especially steaks (steaks for every day!), excellent list of local wines. very responsive staff, all requirements and wishes are always fulfilled. convenient location close to my company's office, quiet and safe area. many of Boksburg's attractions are within walking distance. cozy rooms, each with a private patio, curtains completely block out the sun. it was very quiet around, and I woke up to the singing of birds.

Wi-Fi was not very good at first, it disconnected often, then it got better, but also... not super great. the restaurant is open until 4pm on Sundays, which is a little unusual for people of the Northern Hemisphere, but these are the norms of life in this country. the bar is not open 24h... but to be honest it doesn't spoil the stay at the hotel ) very thin partitions between hotel rooms - I could hear my neighbors well ))

Great hotel close to the airport. Room was nice and clean and comfortable beds. Loveley, helpful staff and nice restaurant. Lots of interesting things to look at in the hotel eg beautiful paintings etc. Great value for money.

I booked a room for our friends as well and unfortunately they did not have a shower in their room, only a bathtub, which made it very hard for my friend to wash her hair in the morning.

We loved the gardens, but wish it was summer time then it should come to it's full potencial.

The corridor to the rooms are cold and eco alot. Some of the residence did not utter the same respect and tranquility that the hotel offer. Their is a sign behind the door requesting it from guest, but is only vissible when existing the corridor. Might be a suggestion to add a few more signs along the corridor.

It’s close to the airport but less expensive & much nicer than an airport hotel. It’s in a tranquil setting. Wonderful artwork, lots of different areas to sit & relax, fantastic restaurant & friendly staff.

My only “complaint” would be that the WiFi in the rooms closer to the pool was too feeble to even do on-line check-in.

The location was perfect for our purpose and the quiet patio setting was delightful

The room had a strange smell we think might have come from wood preservative or polish. This was a little overpowering at times

This was my first stay at Afrique Boutique Hotel, and it exceeded my expectations. It is in a very convenient location, close to OR Tambo airport and a few malls. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing with loads of options!! Ample very secure, safe car parking is available on the property. The room was comfortable and well equipped. I have since stayed at the property again as I enjoyed it so much.

The dinner we had was exceptional! Breakfasts are very good too...freshly prepared and really delicious. The service in the dining room was excetional! Reception staff proffessional and frendly. The rooms are beautiful..beds very comfortable. Everything is very clean! Well done ✔ 5 star rating for sure. Highly recommendef. A Gem 💎

Nothing!!!! At all

This was our 3rd visit over the last couple of years and as before very happy with everything. Breakfast has a good selection of hot and cold, great coffee. The room was a good size, clean, and had a comfortable bed. Great shower. We had an excellent dinner with a large group I booked, the restaurant went out of its way to set up the tables and decor for us on short notice. We originally booked for 20 people but when we arrived for dinner we were only 16 and they moved us to a separate room that accommodated 16 people, did not complain about our change just quickly moved the tables and decor over to the new space, excellent food, on time for all 16 together, friendly service.

In the past, on arrival, the fireplace in the lobby during winter was lit and immediately created a welcoming ambiance, when you walked into the bar or lounge area in the dining hall the fireplaces were also always lit, sadly none of the evenings we stayed at the establishment this was the case for the lobby or the lounge. And yes it was more than cold enough in the evenings. So, not a big issue but something that added to our previous stays that made us come back. Since you have a great shower the water ran against the glass, onto the flat tile area, and then off on the other side into the bedroom, so we had to use towels to prevent this from happening the following times we used the shower.
