I have VIP status at bookings.com so obviously i am seeing many hotels. But staff of this hotel is something different. My wife had a birthday during our stay. Entire staff went extra mile to make it great. I dont write many reviews but those guys deserve for all kudos. If you want to visit Torino. Choose this place, its great!

I used to frequent Piazza Carlina for aperitivi when I lived in Turin and finding a hotel here brought back plenty of fond memories. A stone throw away from Via Po, La Mole and Piazza Vittorio, plenty of bars and restaurants around. Most people would look for something central like Piazza San Carlo, but this is the real Torino centre for me. This is a real gem. The internal courtyard and surrounding arcades have been tastefully renovated into a very fine restaurant with a generous wine list, and what more...with reasonable prices.

For this beautiful old building with high ceilings and balconies in most rooms facing the street or Piazza Carlina, room sizes were somewhat on the small side, but that is a very small shortcoming for this otherwise a fine property.

From the minute we arrived everyone was so friendly and went out of their ways to accommodate my son and I understanding I was travelling alone. They made me feel so safe offering a room at the front knowing I was in the room in the evenings to have a view. it was central and so close to everywhere there was freshwater on arrivals and a few little snacks. The room was stacked with water refreshments and there was also a minibar. The facilities in the bathroom were just beautiful. Everything was so clean so relaxing and accommodating the staff of breakfast were the most friendliest I’ve seen in a long time very personal and got to know everyone that was staying with a good morning and a goodbye checking the table the reception staff always went out of their way to smile and say good morning and good night. Bar was very relaxing and again very accommodating.

There is nothing really I didn’t like

The hotel was centrally located and close to many tour sites so it was easy to reach by foot. The building itself is beautiful and in a quiet part of town and one can have a restful sleep without having to hear outside noises. The room was spacious and overlooked the courtyard. Staff were professional, courteous, and very helpful.

During my stay, one of the lifts was out of service so one had to wait for some time for the lift to arrive. The rooftop bar also was not available even if it was a Tuesday evening when it said it was open from Tuesday to Saturday. Although flat irons are available, one is not provided in every room. One has to iron their clothes in a specially designated room on each floor, I am guessing. This room is usually locked so you'd have to inform the reception first and wait for someone to arrive and unlock the room for your use.

I stayed at the NH Collection Hotel Piazza Carlina for one night in July to celebrate a special occasion, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is probably one of the best in Turin, situated in the heart of the city and within walking distance to many attractions. One of the highlights of my stay was the terrace garden, where I could relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The room service and amenities were exceptional, surpassing the standards of many 4-star hotels I’ve visited recently. The room was well-appointed, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was another standout feature. The variety of options available was impressive, and everything was of very high quality. It was hard to stop myself from trying everything! Overall, my stay at NH Collection Hotel Piazza Carlina was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Turin.

One area that could use some improvement is the bar service for aperitivo. The service was a bit slow, and the selection of snacks could be more varied. Despite this, it didn’t overshadow the overall wonderful experience.

The hotel also offers great value for money considering the level of service and amenities provided. Overall, my stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and well-catered experience. I will definitely return on my next visit.

Room size, view excellent & great service. Paola on reception found us an upgraded room at short notice and was so helpful, also he discovered that it was my birthday. I was delighted to receive a small cake at breakfast and they delivered chocolates to our room whilst we were out sightseeing! Breakfast v good and Barolo wine choice at the bar! Would thoroughly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a central location and quality in Turin

Nothing in particular

One night stop at Turin on our way to Milan and I could not have chosen a better accommodation. The location is perfect, the rooms are clean, the size is ok and the architecture is great also. But the staff made all difference. We arrived at the hotel by car coming from France with lots of luggage. I forgot to reserve a parking spot at the hotel and when I realized that I would have to stop at a public parking nearby with lots of luggage which were supposed to stay at the car, I contacted the hotel and Marco managed to assist us and got a space in the hotel garage. He was also great to assign our two rooms next to each other. I would certainly recommend the hotel.

Fantastic gym. Excellent breakfast. Spacious room, spacious functional bathroom, good water pressure. Comfortable bed. Beautiful city view of large piazza from balcony. Kind staff. Nice bar. Walkable location between river and city center.

Nether of these were deal breakers but improvements would be great: No (zero) drawer space in room. Had to live out of my suitcase for a 5-day stay. All bath products were provided but low quality.

Excellent Italian architecture. Beautiful atrium and restaurant area. Good gym under the roof. Underground parking with a narrow entrance, like everywhere in Italy)). The staff helps with parking and luggage. Nice room with a room for work. Comfortable large bathroom. Clean. The staff is very helpful. There are rooms with a view of the square, but we were unlucky - the windows overlooked the side street opposite the windows of the neighboring house.

To get into the gym, you need to make arrangements with the reception and wait for an employee to open the door. It would be much more convenient to have independent access with a room key, like in other hotels. Otherwise, everything is fine, except for the cost of the room, it is a little overpriced. Turin is a city where you want to stay for 2-3 days. And the hotel fully met this desire, but not the cost.
