From the moment we arrived, Lia the owner went above and beyond to look after us. She made sure we had everything we needed, including a map marked with all the best local spots, super helpful. The hotel itself was absolutely spotless, easily the cleanest we've ever stayed in, and it always smelled fresh and lovely. The hotel design is very unique and beautiful. Lia and her whole team even went the extra mile to make my fiancée's birthday special, which meant a lot to us. If you're coming to Skiathos, this is the place to stay. You won't find better hospitality and a pretier hotel anywhere else.

A beautifully decorated family hotel run by Lia and her amazing staff. Very quiet oasis near the Main Street and a short walk to the ports and bus station to be able to explore the island. The courtesy breakfast provided was fantastic. Lia was an amazing host and always available for advice and she, and her staff, made you feel very welcome. The hotel and rooms were immaculate and cleaned every day. The air con worked brilliantly. Everything has been meticulously thought of to offer you a fabulous stay.

The breakfast was simple but free. It is self serve and then you eat in a delightful space outside surrounded by greenery. The location is excellent - close to everything yet quiet. Lia is an excellent hostess and source of information. She is kind, friendly, and extremely helpful. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The address on google maps is a little deceiving so be prepared to ask for help. The hotel entrance is really around the corner from where you expect it to be. Not a big deal - just mention it so you are prepared. Loved, loved this hotel! Thank you!

The hotel is 1 minute away from the main street, situated in the old town, but despite the fact being that close to the main road where all the shops and restaurants are situated, it is very quiet, and everything is designed on the exterior and the interior of the hotel with good taste. We were upgraded to a room with double bed, even if we have reserved a room with 2 beds, Every morning it is served a small breakfast.

The room we were given was situated on the ground floor, right in front of the small cafeteria where the breakfast is served, and starting with 7:00 am in the morning we were hearing everything happening for the breakfast preparation and all the tourists that were picking up the breakfast, if you want some quiet time try to avoid room 102. Another downside was that they are advertising free parking, that this is not an option, we were told there is a near parking which would cost us 10€ per day

This hotel is set off one of the main streets in Skaithos Town but tucked away from the hussle and bustle in it’s own little oasis 💕 Lia welcomed us and provided us with a map of the island and circled areas of interest. Lia made us feel so welcome. The hotel was clean and decorated beautifully, our room was cleaned everyday with new bedding and towels provided. We were provided with a free complimentary breakfast and drink everyday. The rooftop sun area was an added bonus. Lia went above and beyond and assisted myself with a situation at 3am when I lost my purse and she collected it from the local police station. I will definitely be visiting again.

Nothing all perfect

The hotel's right in the centre so all the restaurants, the bus stop and the boat trips are in a few minutes distance. The place is just beautiful, there's peaceful music playing all day in the garden, creating even more relaxing space, and when you're coming back in the evening, the garden is glowing with hundreds of fairy lights. You can just tell Lia took great care when designing the space. I recommend checking out the terrace as well, great place for reading or planning your day. Small but filling breakfast is included. The staff is so friendly. I'll definitely stay at Hotel Kastro again when I come back next year.

Everything was great about this hotel. Lia was so helpful and friendly, and on hand for any questions most of the time. The hotel, and room, were spotlessly clean and the room cleaned everyday. Additionally, the towels were changed every day and bed sheets every 3 days, which is great and certainly not something that's done everywhere. The room had a nice little balcony overlooking the garden, which was lush and full of nice plants and greenery. There was also a nice area outside for sitting, and a great roof terrace. Breakfast was provided with breads, pastries, fruit, coffee and juice, which was most welcome to start the day.

Great location, so central tucked up a pretty little alleyway. Nearest beach was 10 minutes walk and bus stops 5 minutes walk. Lia was extremely helpful and available to answer questions. The breakfast was small but adequate for us, bread, cake, fruit juice, cornflakes . - all fresh. Easy to reach by taxi or bus from airport. We would recommend. Thank you Lia😊

Kastro hotel is a small corner of heaven. From the moment you enter, you are greeted by a small, chic terrace colored in white blue. They welcome you warmly and with open arms. Lia is a fantastic women. She welcomed us with her smile and hospitality. He made our stay at Kastro perfect. Daily cleaning was done and the towels were also changed every day. The place is a perfect one. It is quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I recommend this hotel to which I will definitely return.

Property was amazing! tucked away in a little alley which has beautiful gardens and is decorated so nicely as was the Terrace upstairs which we spent a lot of time relaxing up there! Location is also fantastic being in the heart with so many shops and food locations! The room was so clean and was cleaned everyday throughly! 😊
