• Location – Just across the road from the sea, close to shops, and a short walk to restaurants. • Breakfast – An amazing selection; the cooked breakfast was top-notch. • Hospitality – The hosts were pleasant, helpful, and extremely friendly and attentive. • Room – Equipped with everything you might need during your stay: tea and coffee, towels, hair dryer, comfortable bed, chair, ideal room temperature. I especially loved the blinds and the décor. • Outdoor and lounge areas – Comfortable and inviting; a great place to sit and relax after a long day of sightseeing. • Overall – Aesthetic and pleasant location. • Weather – Absolutely immaculate during our stay. • Transport – The Bus 99 stop is just a few meters from the property. It conveniently connects to Hastings, Eastbourne train station, the pier, and more.

Cosy room with extra blankets & cushions if wanted. Tissues were handy and the little sweets were a nice touch! Long mirror on the wardrobe , dressing gown & hairdryer if needed were all there , not forgetting to mention the good hot drink selection. The room refreshed the following morning. Lovely hot breakfast and lots of choice of cold things to have as an help yourself if wanted. Nice filtered coffee. Warm & welcoming staff. Thanks Guys!
Overall clean but a closer look saw the blinds needed dusting along with the floor next to the radiator ( fluffy pieces of dust probably from the rad) . The ceiling could of done with another coat of paint although the decor was a nice navy & white choice the light shade was wrong and not in keeping with the rest.

What an incredible place to stay. The host was very welcoming and exceptionally helpful. There was a great choice of cooked breakfast options including scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. We had a front room, I think it was room three which was large with a bay window and a great view out the window. There were several free parking bays over the road which we used. You can't reserve them. The room was spotlessly clean and the whole lodge was beautifully decorated. Thanks for a great stay. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.
Nothing really except the stairs are quite steep which is nothing unusual for English houses.

Everything!! From the first warm & friendly welcome from David. Ebor Lodge is delightful, situated perfectly on the seafront. It is spotlessly clean & all amenities fully catered for. With the added bonus of free on street car parking. It is also close to coffee shops & restaurants. Our bedroom was superb, warm, spacious & comfortable with a large panoramic bay window & balcony with sea views. Extremely comfortable bed large bed with soft fresh linen, fresh fluffy towels & nice toiletries. A wide choice of breakfast available & freshly prepared or cooked by Pascal, it was delicious. Ebor Lodge will be a firm favourite stop off for us in Eastbourne & we look forward to returning soon & can recommend highly, you will not be disappointed. Thank you David & Pascal for sharing your home with us. Mike & Bernie
There is absolutely nothing to dislike, it was perfect in every way

Loved the clear description on booking.com which was very honest. Beautiful accommodation inside and out, well maintained. Warm welcome, home from home. Facilities has everything you need from coffee/tea, toiletries and a very comfortable bed along with pillows, peaceful too. Breakfast was well organised, quality ingredients and well presented, very much enjoyed and needed for the busy day ahead moving an elderly relative to a new location. Thank you for your hospitality, Hope to visit in near future, absolute asset to Eastbourne!

Clear communication from the start, genuinely very helpful, I was cold when I arrived and was shown how to get the heater working. Room clean and well thought out, nice shower! Lots of little things that make a big difference; an alarm clock, little sweets, TV remote wrapped, bathroom stocked with all the stuff you'll likely to forget! Hot breakfast needs to be ordered before 9pm, slip of paper in the box on the hallway, all the usual hot breakfast foods. Bright and airy breakfast room with an assortment of yogurts, cereals, fruit and juices. Incredibly clean throughout. A stones throw from the beach. Bed comfortable, windows opened in the room itself. Road parking free and I was able to park directly opposite. Was a pleasure to stay and will be returning. Highly recommend.
Really nothing negative to say.

Breakfast was cooked to a high standard with a choice of twelve hot dishes in addition to a choice of cereals, fruit & yogurts. David was an efficient welcoming host. There is a comfortable lounge for guests & an outside garden space on the lower ground. Room 3 has ample hanging & draw space with a seated balcony.
The road is busier than I hoped but obviously the location is not something that can be changed.

A very attractive property with a beautiful outside seating area. Great location with plenty of street parking and the sea directly opposite and just a few minutes from coffee shops/cafes. I stayed in the single room at the back, a lovely bright room with dual aspect windows. Room had everything I needed and I had a comfortable few nights. Great breakfast including a cold buffet spread plus a choice of hot foods.
Nothing!

David was extremely welcoming despite my last minute booking. He took the time the explain about the area, which he's well versed on. The room was perfect; I had a small single. Bed comfortable, fan in room. Tea, coffee, biscuits and TV. Thank you for making a safe space for solo female travellers, I really felt comfortable! Breakfast was fantastic - you have a choice of hot cooked breakfasts which you need to pre book the night before. An excellent idea to reduce waste! There's a selection of fruits, cereal and juices too.

The huge range of the 'cold' breakfast table was exceptional and the range of cooked breakfasts was equally wide. All the food was really good. The hosts were very friendly and helpful; nothing was too much trouble. My room was well equipped , clean, lovely bedding and the 'hostess' tray refilled every day.
I visited in exceptionally cold weather but the 'public' areas were warm and cosy. However, whilst my bedroom was fairly warm, my bathroom had no heating making showering chilly, though there was always plenty of hot water.
