The room had a full size bed and a twin bed and we used both after having a few nights in cramped full size beds. The neighborhood was quiet and I got a good night's sleep. The buffet style breakfast was good, with the option of boiling eggs to your preference. It was a short walk to the historic downtown and harbor. There is parking in front of the hotel for unloading and I did find street parking just a short walk back to the hotel.

Such friendly and professional staff, they went above and beyond to help us on several occasions, even phoning us when we left a teddy bear in the bedding and waiting until we could return to pick it up during the lunchtime closure. The room was just big enough for three, completely quiet, and with very powerful and also quiet air-conditioning. It's a fabulous location, maybe three minutes' walk at most to the coast, and then another few minutes to stroll into the old town itself.

It's fairly pricey but then so is all of La Rochelle. It doesn't have a kettle etc in the room either but that's not unusual in France and it wasn't a problem.

Lovely stay, very clean, breakfast was very good.. Quieter area which is nice, but still very close to town. 10 mins walk max. Highly recommend.

Only one thing, no tea or coffee in the room.

Small but homely and air con. Easy motorcycle parking in street (we used path). Bit of a walk to town but enjoyable. Staff were all lovely. Casino was a bonus at bottom of road on beach and with car and huge tv to watch the F1 with a beer and wine. will try restaraunt another trip.

Stairs with luggage and after that walk to or from harbour.

This hotel was super, super clean. Also it was so nice to have the AC on the hot days in La Rochelle. The location was decent in front of the beach and far enough away from the noisy city center.

The WiFi was indeed a bit slow but you're on vacation, go outside.

Double room very small. No escalator in the hotel. Stairs narrow and steep.

Breakfast was expensive but very convenient. Wide range of foods -homemade cake,eggs and fruit and delicious breads and croissants. Drinks from a machine. The staff were all helpful and friendly and my son and I felt very comfortable there. The hotel was very quiet at all times - no noise from other rooms at all.

Only stairs no lift. I have knees pb Little far from the center OK to go on Foot one way but to come back better have the car.

I always stay here during my time in La Rochelle and I love every minute. The staff are so friendly and helpful, especially their patience with my poor French!
