The staff were so lovely and went beyond to chat to us and be friendly! The food was yummy in the hotel. The hotel was clean. The views were lovely.

Some flowers in the room would have been nice. We went to the market to buy our own. The bath tub wouldn’t empty. There was renovations happening that we weren’t told about prior to booking. There is no footpath out the front meaning you have to walk on the road with cars to exit the hotel. Some more vegan meals without dairy would also be good. The cleaner didn’t change our sheets but made our beds back up with sand in them. There was a loud ship parked out on the water which made it less peaceful.

The breakfasts were very good , and well prepared. The hotel is well located . On previous trips we have had unfortunate experiences with aggressive greedy cab drivers and wanted a central location. The Grande provides that. Unfortunately, some of the other food was average at best , and disappointing, given the pricing . The quality of the meat especially, was inconsistent eg . Often the beef steaks was chewy and unpalatable. The chicken was satisfactory. Desserts were good . I have been a visitor to Vanuatu since the mid 1980’s and it produces excellent beef, sadly, not on this visit. The excellent views of the harbour were wonderful

See above .Some of the food ! That said ; the salads and Asian dishes were well prepared and consistently enjoyable. Otherwise , there was nothing not to like .

Great location & all rooms have water views & lovely sunset views. Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom & we stayed in one of the premier suites which were very spacious & comfortable. Breakfast was reasonably good, but not a huge choice. Wifi was pretty good too. Hotel was getting a makeover in the main lobby & lounge whilst we stayed too, (didn't affect our stay at all) so it should be looking a lot more spruced up in coming weeks.

Unfortunately there was a lot of noise, throughout the day, from what looked like a navy boat - motors or engines or generators that were very noisy & it was docked right next door to the hotel. It probably isn't there all the time but was there for the few days we stayed & the noise was not pleasant when sitting on the balcony. Also there was a pretty ugly 'temporary' fence along the water's edge which spoilt the vista from the pool area a bit, but I'm guessing it's awaiting a nice new fence.

The first impression from the entry foyer is one of elegant grandeur. There is a view from every room’s balcony. Yet it is private from the room next door. The harbour is busy so very tranquil to look out and see people going about their lives. Staff are prompt to respond to your needs and love to have a laugh.

Breakfast is a little pricey.

The hotel is very central to the town and they were extremely accommodating to our last-minute booking request after our flight was cancelled. Restaurant and food was really nice and enjoyed the pool looking out to the harbour/Iririki island. Our room was generously sized and clean and we were really happy with the portacot that they provided for our child. Staff were all very friendly and attentive

Breakfast was good and most of the time it has variety. Staff are fantastic.The omelette bar was the best as the other hot food is in bain-marie and is not as good.

Great room and fabulous views of the bay. I loved waking up in the morning and watching the boats going up and down the bay.

The staff were beautiful! So close to everything so be weary of the noise of the construction and traffic. The elevators had an odd smell and it was really hot. Loved the room’s view and strong aircon though.

I didn’t like that you were allowed to smoke in the casino, but that’s maybe because I’m from Australia and don’t find it normal.

Great bayside location. Clean and comfortable room. Wonderful bay view balcony and view. It’s going through a major renovation in but the work didn’t interfere with our stay. The front desk staff were so friendly. The restaurant staff were very nice. I have lots more positive things to say.

The ongoing renovations really weren’t a negative because of the way they were handled. Once completed this hotel will be really nice. Hotels need to do this work.

friendliness, view. location is a bit of a tough one if you have a vehicle. didn't have breakfast. had that later when we returned but didn't stay the hotel when we came back.

one of the rooms had to be redone to accommodate two of the family members because the original request wasn't received properly although it was communicated. so had to wait for some time before two family members could go into their rooms.

The location, the staff were amazing very friendly. The pool area was great, but they did cut up the tiles on put 2nd last day, stopping us from using the pool. That okay, but if it was our 1st day??? Hope they would of let guest know this.

The Spaghetti Bolognese was awlful, take it off the menu
