Very beautiful new place with big swimming pool, many beautiful plants and flowers, nice artistic pictures and paintings on the walls, among the nicest I've stayed in Vietnam! The area is nicer than those of the main town where other hotels are concentrated, it is more quiet with a nice view on the river and boats, especially great during the sunset. I booked a shared room and had the luck of having it all for me, it was very clean, with a big modern shower and big terrace outside with view on mountains. The breakfast was good, the staff kind, I could take a shower and swim in the swimming pool after my checkout, so appreciated with the hot weather ^^

We stayed at Commander Lodge for two non-consecutive nights, before and after our jungle tour with OxalisTour. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the swimming pool available for guests is also very nice. The staff was extremely kind — they allowed us to check in early at 7 a.m. after a sleepless night on a dreadful sleeping bus, washed our clothes and shoes very quickly on both occasions, and even contacted a scooter rental for us so we could explore Phong Nha. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting Phong Nha for one or more nights.

We stayed two nights on the double room: the price-quality ratio is excepcional. The room was simple but comfortable. The pool is more than you could hope for and the staff were impecable. Amazing, 10/10. Best place we stayed at Vietnam! We booked the first night on the dorm because we were arriving in the Middle of the night by sleeper bus. The dorm was pleasant and comfortable with a humble bathroom. Great value for your money.

It is a walk away from the center but you can easily rent a bike or get a car on Grab for less than 30k! Breakfast is humble.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed to explore the surrounding area. The room was clean, cozy, and just what we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the complimentary bicycles, which allowed us to easily roam around and experience the local atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options. The pool was spacious and impeccably clean – perfect for relaxing. The warm farewell, complete with hugs, touched us deeply and made us feel like part of the family.

Nice enough hotel - nice pool, good bar area with pool table. Located a bit out of town but the free bicycles provided were great and made it very easy to get around / explore / cycle into town for dinner. Nice room.

Damp bathroom shower didn’t drain properly and the bathroom smelled bad. Breakfast was quite small and not many options.

Lovely peaceful stay with nice pool and nice breakfast! Rooms were clean and comfy and staff were polite! The river & mountains across the road were beautiful with some good restaurants to eat at also! There were no prices for the minibar which would have been more helpful but nothing major & nothing else negative about our experience!

Very charming at first sight with clean and comfortable rooms. Best place to stay in Phong Nha! Additional to that, Quynh made our stay absolutely extraordinary. She is cheerful and strives to make the guest’s stay special. She told us where to go, taught us about Vietnamese culture, and even drove us to our bus stop!

We loved our stay! The place is super clean, the rooms are spacious and comfortable with really nice beds, and the swimming pool is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is good too :)

The hotel and service was amazing! The room was clean, breakfast was excellent and they helped us to organize our stay in Phong Nha. In particular, Quynh looked after us really well and even picked us up in the middle of the night and was a very friendly open-minded person!

The staff were very helpful and welcoming and the room was clean and very good value. We loved the pool which was also very clean.

Nothing - for the price we paid the room and standards were excellent.
