The villa was self contained (TV with Netflix, microwave, kettle, full sized fridge, AC and fans) and was very spacious. Everything was clean and bed was comfortable. There are only 6 villas so it was super relaxing. There was an amazing view from the pool overlooking the mountains. Pool was lovely. You could also eat meals sitting across from the river. Location is great and was just a short walk into town. All of the staff were super helpful in terms of helping us organise tours, transport and sharing their recommendations. Everyone always said hello, how are you with a smile on their face.

Everything was so perfect! After a long night train and 7am arrival to Phong Nha, we were greeted by the friendly staff and sat down for complimentary breakfast and an early check in to our room. Amazing service, the staff felt like family in the end with entertaining our 10 month old daughter! The apartment exceeded our expectations massively, best accomodation we’ve stayed at!! We unfortunately had a lot of rain for 2 days so we’re bound to our accomodation but that didn’t matter because we had great comfort, lots of space, the beautiful outdoor bath, swimming pool, Netflix for movies, room service and a beautiful restaurant with pool table etc. it was a holiday within a holiday for our trip! We loved it!

We really enjoyed our visit!! We stayed in villa 3 and were treated to fantastic views. The villa was two floors and had a sunken living room. It also had an outdoor bath/shower. The outdoor bath/shower was located off the living room, so probably not usable if you are traveling with folks you are not wanting to bear it all to 😊. The bathroom on the upper floor was spacious and clean (not a wet bathroom, separate shower). The paper products (toilet paper and tissues) were very high quality! We had included breakfasts, the selection was great! I was a little nervous ordering the French toast, and eggs Benedict, but these were probably the best I have had in Vietnam. They also had free bicycles, and we took advantage of them each day to ride the short distance to restaurants on the other end of town (5 minutes). Just be careful to make sure the tires are full, and the breaks are good. They probably need to work on making sure all the bicycles are ready in the future. The staff were super friendly and were knowledgeable about the area and attractions. The arranged the scooter rental for us, it was super easy!

The property is tastefully furnished. Our two story suite is very spacious and comfortable. Although most suites do not have views of the river, the dining room does. Speaking of dining room, the meals are quite good. We used the free bicycles to go into town, to the duck place (not an easy ride), and to the sister property. What we like most is the staff. The ladies are very friendly and helpful, especially Hong.

The beautiful outdoor bathroom is not usable in February. There is not enough hot water to fill the huge bathtub. The outdoor toilet is "soundproof" and is dark at night. Although it's nice to be invited to sit down for a welcome drink, our backs were sore from a 4 hour drive and we did not enjoy sitting down for drinks. If we had been told that our room would not be available for an hour or so, we would rather take a leisure walk along the river to pass the time. Lastly, I personally feel that the wall filled with photos from the war was out of place in an otherwise very tasteful property. I understand the history of the owner's mother's involvement in the war; however, it can just be mentioned in the property info binder.

Structure is nice and welll kept. We loved Villa #2 as it was private and large. The staff was EXCELLENT -Hien and Dong were super helpful and friendly. Manager was very attentive and present daily. Breakfast was fresh with multiple choices, cooked to order. Daily happy hour specials by the pool was the best. Loved having a pool after a hot day of hiking;). Restaurant was good quality with reasonable prices. Location is close to the center (1km from the tourist center). Each room contains a detailed book of what to do in the area which was so useful. They really thought of everything!

We just loved our stay here. My mom stayed longer while I did a cave expedition and they really took great care of her! The food is outstanding, staff so helpful and kind. View insane from the pool area and out front! Such good coffee. Adorable cozy fireplace which is just what we needed over christmas. They had decorations, christmas dinner, etc. They helped arrange onward travel too! Our room had this MASSIVE concrete bathtub that is very impractical, but I got sick after my cave tour and really wanted a bath. So the staff boiled huge pots of water in the kitchen and helped me fill it up, so grateful for them! Oh, and they offered free saunas at a farmstay nearby with transportation which my mom took advantage of. The room was huge, multi story with an out door and indoor bathroom. Shower water hot, towels in great condition, beds so comfy. I slept on the couch downstairs and they helped me make it into a bed with a mattress topper thing. Netflix on the TV, kitchen to use. Heat and A/C in the room. Was perfect to splurge on a little more expensive (but seriously nothing compared to what this place would cost in USA) for the holidays! Thanks again, Victory Villas! The hot water ran out pretty fast, it is a small instant hot water heater so a long hot shower in order to shave wasn't very doable. You have to wait for it to heat up again. The tub, very impractical. That's a design issue... so if you are intending on taking baths just be forewarned. You can shower in the tub too, though!

Spacious villas. Big and clean bathrooms with all the comfort needed to relax after a day hiking in one the regions numerous caves and trails. Professional staff and very kind personnel that would greet you everyday at the entrance when you come back from your day trip. The pool is nice to relax. There is a SPA as well but we haven’t tried it. Free use bikes are handy to go on a cycling tour of the region although they could use some maintenance.

The breakfast could use a bit more attention and quality given the standing of this place

Exceptionally friendly, helpful and hard working staff. Restaurant was delicious with lots of food options. Room was huge with fantastic view, very clean and well stocked. They went above and beyond to meet all of our requests, from organising a long transfer from Hoi An and suggesting fantastic stops including a vegetarian restaurant on the way. They also helped facilitate a incredible hiking tour with jungle boss which was amazing. They were also kind enough to do some washing follow the trek even though we were leaving the next morning. Everything was 5 star service, would thoroughly recommend

No faults at all

A lovely oasis in Phong Nha! It is a beautiful little boutique hotel in a superb location. We loved our villa with the porch swing overlooking the gardens and paddies, it was spacious and very comfortable. The restaurant out front has some amazing food. The best carbonara I’ve ever had - actually everything we had was remarkably very good. By far the best place to eat in Phong Nha. And the people keeping things running smoothly were absolutely lovely always smiling as they went about making sure everyone’s needs were being fulfilled. And another remarkable thing was not being asked for a review, all the more reason to sing their glories! A great place to stay, we would fully recommend it!

Outside shower is nice and room is very spacious. For breakfast, French toast and coconut coffee was very good, we were less enthused by the other dishes. Owner is a fantastic source of knowledge and has done a huge amount in developing the local area. Tour with Jungleboss he recommended was great.
