This was the best hostel we have stayed at so far in Vietnam. We stayed two nights, got our laundry done here, joined their family dinner twice and booked our sleeperbus and a daytour via this amazingly friendly hostel. We absolutely loved the FREE Vietnamese language session for beginners, but most of all we really appreciated the honest kindness we got from everyone working in the hostel. After checking out we left out bags at the hostel to still be able to do a day tour with hiking and cave visits. After being quite tired and really dirty from the day trip, the hostel allowed us to use their facilities once more after checking out. We took an amazing last shower with fresh towels. The owner and the manager of the hotel is very helpful and professional. She helped us to find a taxi to get to the hotel from the center of the town, in the middle of the night, since we arrived to the town very late. She also has many tours in the hotel, organized by herself. She speaks good English and all the questions and problems can be addressed directly to her. She will answer any time of the day - Motorbikes for rent can be organized by the hotel itself - Good free breakfast at the hotel with Western food - there is a nice roof top in the hotel, where you can chill, have a drink and look at the amazing view of the Phong Nha - The hotel is in the quiet area of Phong Nha - A lot of restaurants within the walking distance from the hotel

- Our room was not exactly what was promised on booking.com. On the third night of our stay, hotel manager was able to change our room to the one we expected. (all rooms very fully occupied due to the public holiday)

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel run by Linh. She is incredibly kind and hospitable, always ensuring her guests feel welcome and well taken care of. I arrived in Phong Nha around 3 AM, and she even arranged for her staff to pick me up, which was a thoughtful gesture. As for the property, the location is excellent, and the hostel itself is clean, spacious, and—as the name suggests—cosy. The breakfast is delicious, and they serve a family-style dinner around 7 PM, which is a great opportunity to meet and connect with other travelers. I would love to come back here again!

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! This place litteraly felt like home. Linh, the owner, is AMAZING. So welcoming and proud of her beautiful hostel which makes her always try to improve the place. He also presents everyone to make it really social and organize good evening activities. The girls at the coffee and the barman are also really great and friendly, and remembers the name of everyone. I could have stayed a year here. + beds, blanket, rooftop, bathrooms and location is amazing.

Normally I am too lazy to write a review, but this hostel just goes above and beyond for its guests. The way the rooms, pool, bathrooms and comon area are located are perfect, good beds, cute coffee shop but the best this hostels has to offer is its owner Linh. This guy is so passionate about the hostel. Remember every name, helps where she can, knows everything and she makes it so easy to get the guests talking to eachother. Very social hostel. Linh and her entire family make this homestay a warm space for both meeting new people and exploring new places. Linh has exceptional service standards. She messaged me the moment I booked about my arrival time and being the super-entrepreneur and supermom that she is, also promptly came all the way to the centre of town 2 kms away to pick me up as dusk was falling, while my co-passengers received no help from the accommodations they had booked. She also booked my onward journey to Ha Giang and when the bus company abandoned me in Hanoi with no answers to my calls about when I will be picked up for the next leg of the journey, Linh got me in touch with the lady in charge in Phong Nha. This was at 5:30 or so in the morning. Linh exemplifies the empowered women of Vietnam that I saw everywhere I went. She has the vision of a leader and the efficiency of a worker. I never saw her sitting down for a moment but only constantly running about to serve her homestay guests. Linh's sister makes such a wholesome breakfast in the morning. I needed some sugarcane juice and one of her family members got it from the neighbour when they did not have it. Also the river looks so beautiful and serene from this part of town. Spending a morning and evening lying next to the river observing the fishing boats on the opposite banks is a pleasure by itself, separate from seeing the caves. And my two cents on Phong Nha - such smiling and warm people. They welcome you wherever you go. Some of my best pictures in Vietnam were made here.

Maybe the dinner table can be bigger as there were always those who were disappointed for not being accommodated. :)

Linh and the family dinners! Linh was extremely welcoming and helpful. The family dinners were a great way to meet other travellers and the food was some of the best we had during our entire visit to Vietnam.

This place definitely has potential however some things that would help would be the rooms being a little cleaner. Also we were asked to move rooms as they were re-plastering the bungalows during our stay. This was a little inconvenient. We were also awoken one morning by the workers starting the postering process very early with water being poured on the outside walls which unfortunately leaked through the window and started to form a pool on the floor of our room beside our bags and clothes.

Room: Felt spacious even with 6. AC worked really well (too well - I got cold one night!) Social: Every breakfast and dinner, there are always people around the communal table eating and chatting. Very friendly hostel environment where you get to meet people from all over. You can opt to have a home cooked dinner from the family and I highly recommend. It's better food than you would get from nearby restaurants. Hosts: The host Ms. Linh is the best part of this homestay. She and her family work so hard to keep this place running, with no days off. She is clearly overworked but does it all for her kids. She works very hard to make sure your stay is perfect, and when you can catch her, she will plan everything for you (pickup, drop-off, day excursions, motorbike, etc). Book for Ms Linh! Amenities: Motorbikes were easy to rent and quite good. I was never worried about their quality.

The bathroom is shared between the 6 in your room, rather than several communal bathrooms. So at the end of the day you may end up waiting for the shower. There is also no divide between the shower and toilet/sink, so the bathroom tiles always feel slightly wet/dirty, especially if the shower drain clogs from hair. In the end, not a deal breaker though.

Comfortable, charming, & breathtaking views and the peaceful surroundings make it an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. But what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional hospitality of Linh, our wonderful host. From the very first contact, she made me feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. Linh's local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable, and her assistance with booking tours and transportation made exploring the area a breeze.

The view from the rooftop is wonderful! I arrived in the evening, got picked up from the bus stop for free (it was 4-5 mins motorcycle ride). There is family dinner every night, which helps to connect with other travelers. I attended to a cave tour arranged by the owner, Linh, and it was definitely an unforgettable day! She also arranged my bus to Ninh Binh. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay, highly recommended!
