We received a room upgrade and a lovely gift of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, a small chocolate cake for two and a bar of chocolate shaped like the Rocky Mountains. It was very special. We enjoyed a very relaxing spa/massage experience and enjoyed the close proximity of the hot springs.
We had the steak at the Primrose restaurant and my husband specifically asked for a well done steak, absolutely no pink and was assured it would be so. He ended up sending the steak back to the kitchens as it was definitely pink on the inside. Riley our waiter was great and very apologetic even though it was not his fault.

Hotel was very nice! Beautiful lobby to sit and relax by the fire with a drink or dinner. Rooms were very big, clean with incredible views of the mountains! Staff and service was top notch! Everyone was very friendly and spoke to you. Huge kudos to Arnos at Primrose. He served us our breakfast the first morning, but always made a point to come talk to use every morning, even if he wasn't our server. He gave us hike recommendations and even provided us a recipe! He's fantastic.
The price was a bit high, but you also get what you pay for! I'd come again, regardless of the price.

Courtesy, respect & helpfulness all the hotel staff. Cleanliness of the whole hotel. The hotel location is good for quiet & relaxing ambiance be it for vacation, business or other events. The views of the rockies from the room is very spectacular & amazing be it sunrise & sunset times!!! Transportation is a vital part of the hotel services; Rimrock exceeded that expectation. RJ (Concierge) did a very excellent job in helping & answering all my queries. We booked the Lake Louise & Moraine tour from the hotel & Andreas our tour guide is very informative; really enjoyed it so much!!! Expectations were met with Rimrock hotel !!!!! Five stars!!!!! Highly Recommended!!!!! 👏

Great location and room view of Mount Rundle Short walk to the Banff Gondola Excellent lobby bar and Primrose Restaurant dinner and breakfasts were excellent Staff were brilliant, particularly in the lobby bar Free public bus to town centre was very reliable.
Room was quite dated but I understand the hotel is in the process of a major makeover. Beds were fine, however. Arrived at 6.30pm and the room wasn’t ready. The room price seemed to be grossly excessive for what you got but that appears to be the norm if you want to stay in Banff. Hard to understand given it’s hardly remote.

The concierge, valet, & shuttle staff were amazing & helped us tremendously. Great service & so appreciate the shuttle running to the different areas. Will, from England, was especially helpful & always went out of his way to be of service. Was a huge blessing!!!
Definitely needed new carpet & fresh paint on the 5th floor in the hallways. Room was not but not like pictures online. The shuttle service offered made up for the price. Did not have a chance to eat there.

Beautiful period hotel set out of Banff town but minutes from the Banff gondola - brilliant as we could walk there without having to join the queues of waiting cars to park for the ride. The hotel was exceptional quality and all staff were very polite friendly and very efficient. The views from our room - Mountain View room - was amazing. Could have just sat in the armchairs by the large window to take in the fabulous scenery. Breakfast in the Primrose restaurant was great with so much choice, but as not included in the room charge, was an expensive daily addition - £40 uk pounds for two people. We ended up not having breakfast but waited until we were out and about and had brunch. Similarly, The Larkspur bar/restaurant off the main lobby was amazing, but club sandwich/ burger type choice only for evening meal. The Eden was their fine dining restaurant but so expensive, we didn’t use it. Great leisure facilities with swimming pool, gym and spa. All in all it was a great treat and would happily stay there again if we were to make a return visit in Banff to visit the Rockies.
The lack of mid range restaurant for dinner with a more normal choice of foods.

This is a lovely hotel that's warm and welcoming with stunning views from all the rear windows. The staff are always friendly and make a point of saying hello and can't do enough for you. We were very happy staying here and will definitely use this hotel again should we return to the beautiful Banff.
I wish that the breakfast buffet had been open throughout our stay rather than just on the weekend. I also wish that there was a larger menu in the lobby area restaurant.

Resort public areas were clean and kept well. The staff was extremely nice.
Rooms were clean, but the bathrooms were not vented well and the humidity would build up and drip water from the ceiling over the shower. I probably wouldn't have even noticed since it was over the shower, but the water wold turn brown which was gross. Like someone smoked in there or something? Not sure if it was just our room or not, but was really weird. Maybe just needed a good cleaning, not sure, but I bet they would send someone up right away if I would have. Great hotel, that is my only gripe.

Great experience, Super helpful staff. Parking on site was convenient, if a little pricey. Walking distance to Gondola and Hot springs was great and complimentary bus service made town access easy. Lovely spa and gym area. Sauna after days hiking was heaven. Food and drink were all excellent.
Paying for parking at a hotel of this caliber seems a little mercenary. Starting to show it's age in a few places. Booked a room for 4 but had to ask for extra cups etc as they only put 2 if everything in

The property is beautiful and the view of the valley from the room is breathtaking. The Primrose restaurant offers a very elaborate breakfast buffet and offers a fine dining experience at dinner with a wide selection of menu options. Rooms are of decent size and very clean and comfortable
