Unbeatable. This is one of those places you immediately know you’d love to return to — and honestly, we wouldn’t have minded staying a few days longer. If I ever come back, I won’t hesitate for a second. The warmth and attentiveness of the host, the quality of the breakfast, and the breathtaking views while having breakfast by the lake (as I told the host, probably the best breakfast and views of my life) made the experience truly unforgettable. The room, overlooking the peaceful green areas, was bright, quiet, and perfect for relaxing. This was the first stop of our trip, and without a doubt, we wish we had stayed longer. It set the bar incredibly high for the rest of our journey. It’s absolutely impossible not to recommend this place. A true delight in every way.

If I had to say something I didn’t like… I couldn’t. There truly wasn’t a single thing to complain about.

High March is in a beautiful, quiet location, very handy for exploring around Loch Ness and well connected to other parts of the Highlands. It is well hidden among the trees making it feel very private and extremely peaceful. Stewart was very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The room was so comfortable and well equipped with everything we could possibly have needed. Breakfast was delicious with en extensive choice and, again, every need catered for. The breakfast platters were delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

There was nothing not to like! To begin with we thought the driveway from the main road was going to be tricky to negotiate but it wasn't nearly as bad as it first looked. Perhaps there was *too much* food at breakfast, but that's a nice problem to have.

I had no dislikes. The owner Stewart and his wife were lovely and very accommodating and made us feel at home. Room was very clean and comfortable , bed very cosy. Breakfast was plentiful with cereal, fruit, yoghurt. Cooked meats and cheese and eggs available as well as toast and pastry. Juice and a selection of tea and coffee available to drink. Located just outside the village with a fantastic view of Loch Ness. Overall very enjoyable stay and would definitely go back.

Can't rate Stewart & High March enough. Very enjoyable stay, and we were well looked after. The room was full of home comforts and very comfortable for a good night's sleep. Stewart was excellent, attentive, kind & helpful. Great selection and personalised continental breakfast to set you up for the day, and the tourist attractions are close by, with other destinations not too far by car to stay here with other day trips planned around Scotland. We toured around ourselves and stayed in award winning wedding venues, highly rated hotels, and even a castle...and High March was still our favourite.

Not being able to stay longer.

It was a perfect stop for our trip to northern Scotland. Stewart was a perfect host who catered to our needs and answered our questions. The room was wonderfully clean, warm and comfortable, plus breakfast was a treat. In fact there were many little treats left for us in our room. We went to Fiddlers Inn for dinner, on Stewart’s recommendation, and enjoyed that too. Thank you Stewart for being a wonderful host.

Nothing really

Where to start really….. The facilities were very modern, whilst at the same time the room maintained a traditional and cosy feeling. It was extremely clean and comfortable, with lots of space. Bathroom was very well taken care of. Chocolate selection in the room was a nice touch. The continental breakfast was brilliant - everything you really wanted was there, and the toaster on each table was fun too! Stewart was the ideal host - very polite and organised, and he made our stay even better. The view over the loch was a trip highlight.

There was nothing I didn’t like

The room was massive and warm and so comfortable. Very clean, the bed was a dream. Stewart made me feel welcome from the get go and took the time to suggest some other spots I could go see, which turned out to be 100% worth it. The view from my room was to die for, so I slept woth the curtains open. Highly recommend!

The room was super clean, comfortable and had an outstanding view of the Loch. To wake up to such beautiful scenary, really is the cherry on top. It is so much better than the pictures. Stewart was also so helpful, providing recommendations on local walks and places to eat. He also made a delicious breakfast to keep you going for all the walks you have planned for the day. The service Stewart provided exceeded my expectations and would help with anything you needed, truly amazing. Our stay was far more than expected and would stay again in the future. It is a must stay.

I have no negatives about my stay, it was exceptional.

The most BEAUTIFUL location ran by the most friendliest knowledge host. Stewart made us feel like friends. Our room was huge with every facility you could EVER need, it had everything and more. The bed was massive and super comfy, the whole house was immaculately clean, and the breakfast was plentiful. Lastly, the view is AMAZING.

Absolutely NOTHING !! Even if I wanted to…..I couldn’t find anything.

From first knock on the door to last good bye, homeowner made as feel welcomed and appreciated, attention to detail are outstanding from binoculars in a room, complimentary confectionery to prepared breakfast by our needs exactly how we like. Home full of life, warm and comfortable really made us feel part of something more than a guests, this B&B set really high standard for us after.
